Located inside Taj Mahal Hotel complex Abids, this is a perfect restaurant for Veg-only lovers. Lunch buffet for 2 cost us Rs. 826 including taxes. 2 types of rice, 1 Veg dum biryani, Noodles, 3 sweets, 3 veg curries, 2 starters, roti, mango juice, pani puri, pasta - All this for Rs. 350 buffet is justified. But with a full hall, the place is too noisy. Go there only to enjoy the food. Superb quality veg food. So many families turned out for the lunch buffet. Too noisy place. Vehicle parking is in Taj Mahal hotel campus and on the main road.

The Taj - Dakshina Mandapam at Abids is not giving the old reputed service to customers. The food served tastes terrible. People only coming due to reputation. Poor cleaning and maintenance. The AC hall is full of mosquitoes and flies.

It was my first visit to this restaurant. The restaurant has fixed buffet menu but it offers a lot of choices. Welcome drink, soup & starters were served at the table. Buffet served multicuisine spread to suit all customers. I'll definitely recommend this restaurant for vegetarians. They charge fix amount of Rs. 485/- per person for unlimited food.

A nostalgic experience for old Hyderabadis. I was happy that the standards haven't gone down. We had Masala Dosa, Bisebele bath and Rava Dosa and Basundhi. All of them were excellent. Service is efficient and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice ambience with great food in the city core, Dosa, idly and all other south Indian food dishes were of great taste. I always prefer to get Hara bhara Masala Dosa and Filter Coffee whenever I visit this place.

Visited here on a weekday for lunch and the place was empty. It's a pure veg buffet and there is a very limited spread with 1 welcome drink, 2 veg starters and main course. It has 3-4 types of salads and 5 types of desserts. I liked the Beetroot Halwa. Costed around 485/- per person. The service is very slow even though the place was empty. I had to ask for 3-4 times for the starters to be refilled. All in all, it's an average place to be in for a buffet. Definitely overpriced for the spread and taste. Lots of other restaurants out there with a better taste though it costs 100/- more for a person.
