Right in the heart of the city, Ravindra Bharati is almost a landmark. With a well-maintained garden, the auditorium has huge gates and compound walls within which a systematic parking arrangement is done. This AC theater was built in 1964 with a capacity of 1,000 people including the balcony. The entrance of the hall, through the steps and the towering ornamented wooden doors, further lead to a statue of Rabindranath Tagore. The stage and green rooms are again well equipped and systematic. Apart from the main theater, Ravindra Bharati has a gallery and a conference hall on the 1st and the 2nd floors (mini theaters).

Centrally located. Decent and famous auditorium. Not an artist, theatre person. From my point of view, sound system seemed decent and theatre style chairs. Close to Lakdikapul metro station. This is just 5 minutes walk from the metro station and bus stops.

Ravindra Bharathi is an auditorium located in the heart of the city in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It was named after Vishwakavi  Rabindranath Tagore as it was constructed during his birth Centenary year. It is more than 62 years old which was inaugurated by Sri.Sarvepally Radhakrishnan, former President of India on May 11th, 1961. It is constructed and maintained by east while Government of Andhra Pradesh and now by Telangana Government. The auditorium has a seating capacity of 1,104. The performing stage is 105 feet wide, 48 feet deep and 38 feet high. The centre is completely air-conditioned. In 1981, the Government of Andhra Pradesh instituted a Department of Culture and entrusted it with the administration of this auditorium. Auditorium's facilities can be leased by the general public for cultural programs from official website. I have attended American Telugu Association Grand Finale event on 39th December. The auditorium needs renovation particularly toilets. Parking is ample.

One of the classic landmarks of Hyderabad. Good place for cultural events. It will be nice if this place can get little makeover. Everything is starting to look aged and old.

Its near lakdi ka pul, one of the famous auditoriums, gives you the feeling of old days auditoriums. Easily accessible through main road and has ample parking area, very spacious. The auditorium hall is airconditioned and it's approximately 900 to 1000 seating capacity. It has remote controlled stage curtains and clear sound quality set up. The toilets were not modern but clean enough.

It is located in heart of city, where many cultural events happen, it maintained by govt of Telangana, big hall cost around 50k, mini hall cost 12K, ample parking is there, big hall capacity is 400 people and mini hall 100 capacity, both hall are ac, Great place for Public meetings, Short film Screening, seminars, stage drama shows. Being maintained well after Telangana Government had taken in charge. Political, school cultural programs are conducted here. There is separate VIP parking & separate for public Paid parking. Well maintained staff. There is a Theatre inside with 100+ seating (Pydi Jayaraj). In the main auditorium seating is good.. though uncomfortable due to less spacing between the rows. separate media gallery & space for photographers to capture pictures & videos comfortably all power plugin points available. Wifi is also available. Great place for cultural and official programs, ambience is dark and low light to just focus on yellow lights focused dias. Seating arrangement is too congested. Walk space in the hall is too congested. Great amount of parking space is available.

One of the best places to visit art and culture related summits. The registration will be usually done online. Facilities like parking, visibility and washrooms are really great. Auditorium consists of main and mini halls. Dignitaries in political and national film industry received awards here.

We hve visited RAVINDRA BHARATHI .The vibrant colors of the costumes swirled across the stage, mesmerizing the audience as the performers gracefully moved to the rhythm of the music. Each dance form showcased the rich cultural heritage and traditions of their respective tribes. From the energetic Bhangra to the intricate Kathakali, every step told a story that transported the spectators into another world. As the night progressed, the atmosphere in the auditorium intensified with excitement and appreciation. Applause echoed through the hall, filling it with an electric energy that seemed to breathe life into every dancer on stage. The performers poured their hearts into each movement, their passion radiating through their expressions. Amidst the sea of spectators, Anitha stood in awe as she admired the exceptional talent on display. Her eyes sparkled with admiration for these artists who dedicated their lives to preserving and promoting India's diverse cultural heritage through dance and arts. She felt a deep sense of gratitude for being able to witness such beauty. ABOUT RAVINDRA BHARATHI On 23 March 1960, the then Governor of Uttar Pradesh and a former Chief minister of Andhra State, Bezawada Gopala Reddy laid the foundation stone of the auditorium. The building was designed by Mohammad Fayazuddin, an alumnus of Architectural Association School of Architecture, London.[1] Built during the birth centenary celebrations of Rabindranath Tagore, the auditorium was constructed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for over a year. On 11 May 1961, former President of India, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan inaugurated it to serve the cultural needs of the region. HALL CAPACITY The auditorium has a plinth area of 2,295 square yards (1,919 m2) with a seating capacity of 1,104.[8] The performing stage is 105 feet wide, 48 feet deep and 38 feet high How to reach Ravindra bharati; lakdikapul metro station; saifabad; telephone bhavan; lakdikapul; khairatabad; assembly. I have been going regularly to Ravidrabharathi for the last 25 years . The 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler should be improved. The entire front approach road should be cement layered. I have the concrete hurting the walkers . The toilets should be improved a lot actually they can have best sanitary materials and sensors to drain water automatically in the urine pots . They install exhaust fans to drive away the stinking smell . The place is a prestigious cultural centre visited by foreign visitors as well as VIPs. I heard that they are collecting heavy hiring charges .

It is a popular AC Auditorium, but has become old. Interiors badly need renovation. Maintenance to be improved. Parking not much but ok. Good Location in city center and well connected by public transport and Metro rail.

The seats are all broken at the back , no one bothers to get them repaired . The washrooms are on only one side of the hall, elderly people can't even think of going for washroom because they have to walk around so much. There is no much updation ...its same old one. Just the front seats are maintained well

A good place for cultural events. However, the contact numbers given online are not correct. If you are looking to book an auditorium space, walk into the office directly. They are available from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm.

One of the best auditoriums of Hyderabad. Its managed and run by the State Governments Art & Culture department and they have been doing a reasonable job in maintaining it. It's so busy that almost everyday there is something or the other event happening. Every artists dreams of performing at this place and you actually witness the Famous personalities of different performing arts preferring to perform on this stage be it theatre, skits, drama's, classical dances and songs, semi classical dances & songs, fusion dances, western dances & music of all genres. Various award ceremonies are also held here. It's also a nurturing ground for young talents to explore their inner potential in relation to the art forms mentioned above. There are regular classes of few martial arts running all throughout the year just behind the auditorium where there is a dedicated space for it. The acoustics, green room facilities, ambience of the auditorium is great. You have ample parking space in the campus and also you find canteen facility if you feel hungry. Toilets are clean and well maintained.
