It’s serene, private and the food is great. I recommend for private/romantic meetings

This is a serene and nice place. I went there for a dinner and I enjoyed it, no noise, no large crowd and the place is well organized. If you are looking for a quiet place to have a good meal, then this is the place.

Cafe Chrysalis offers a fantastic ambiance and excellent customer service. The reasonably priced, delicious food makes it an ideal choice for a serene date night or a delightful lunch outing.

It's not easy to locate, I chose the location on the spur of the moment, if you don't know your way around Old Bodija Google map my take you down a wrong way(wrong in the sense that the most straightforward route to the place is blocked by a gate) but once you reroute, you'll find it, The Cocktail and mock tail i ordered were very nice and well done, I wasn't really hungry so I mostly ordered something to snack on, which was tasty and hot. The best part of Cafe Chrysalis is the little garden and the birds tweeting madly outside, i loved the swing seat in the garden overall it's a place one can go to escape to madness of the city for a refreshing break.

You would most likely not know that there is a café in this location considering that they don’t have any form of external building design that indicates such. The ambience is very great. They have a lovely garden downstairs, fascinating picture frames at the staircase area, and attractive art works at the sitting area. They all contribute to giving an enjoyable feeling of warmth. The food was nice, though it took a while to arrive which is because it was just prepared after the order was made. They served some really nice mocktails also. The only downside was the noise from the blender whenever they had to blend ice to make drinks. In summary, this is a great place to have a good time.

Beautiful hangout spot with a lovely ambience. Rusty feel with the wooden design, art and lighting. Reasonably priced menu where you get a range of varieties. As at the time of visit, the staff were very polite and helpful with choices. Although most of our requests weren't available. It's located in an almost hidden spot, but worth the visit. Available restroom.

The burger was juicy, the chicken was moist, but the french fries were salty. The Red wine Sangria was not exciting. Most likely won't order it again. I would have preferred a better choice of wine for that price. Overall it was a nice experience.

Had a breakfast buffet there with my family and I must say, it was worth it. From tasty food to clean environment to courteous and smart staff, I would rate them a 9/10.👍 All the best.👍😁

This is one of my favorite spots in Ibadan, it’s quiet and soothing. Especially with the jazz music playing in the background, I had rice with salad and pina colada monktail. Spent about #4,500 in total, my belly was so full . The food preparation was soooo fast and chrysalis hq has the best mocktails in ibadan.

Beautiful breakfast experience. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast location in Ibadan and the best part, they have different locations spread across Ibadan - Old Bodija, Ring Road, Ventura Mall and Jericho. Enjoy!

At first, I wonder why a chic place like this would be located in such a deeply rich residential area. It's not easily accessible from anywhere as you'll have to pass through the gate of the estate, even don't have a car get ready for a stroll because motorcycles 🏍️ 🏍️ are not allowed. I don't know how this is affecting the business, or if it only exists to serve the estate residence only. Asides the location, I think every other thing about this branch of Café Chrysalis awesome ✨ The staffs are well-groomed, the security personnel is smart, the walls are well decorated with creative arts, the spacing setup allows free movement within the restaurant, and the ambiance and choice of music are always Excellent.

Firstly, it's not quite easy to locate. The first entrance we went through was locked and we used Google map. We had to go through another route. Secondly, the environment wasn't giving what I was expecting, the lightning was poor. The food was alright; I had the stir-fry spaghetti and chicken, starters and a drink. Though the waiting time for the meal to arrive was crazy 😅. Our meal was about 20k. The service was amazing; the waitress was so awesome that we had to tip her.

A nice quiet place located within bodija in a close off the noise and buzz of town where you can have a good meal with family and friends at a good price.

They have warm reception and their food is affordable and delicious. It very easy to locate and it's one of the best restaurants I've ever visited. cool place, warm and prompt staff, low music, good food... and they offer competitive group portion prices, which makes it a great place for group of friends or family members to go and eat at a lower price (except they can't have individual orders with such offers) the only reason i am not rating it 4-star is because the bar attendant used an awfully loud blender twice in such a silent place, and we had to bear the terrible discomfort!!

Visited another branch of Cafe chrysalis, and first I must say they really do well with their staff. In terms of being polite and courteous and satisfying their customers. The guy who attended to me that day was so friendly and made sure my date and I were so comfortable being there. Timing; they did well with timing, most of the food in the menu was set for 40 minutes, and it took just about that time. Btw, If you are already very hungry, you shouldn’t visit here cos ehn.😂😂😂 The ambience; not 100 for me, but it actually isn’t so bad. I like the outdoor look cos of the nature feel, flowers and all. The indoor is also nice, not just what I’ll call perfect. The food also tasted good, I loved the chicken, it was wellllll marinated(alot of people don’t always get a hang of that). The location too is another thing I love about this place, it’s in a secluded area, and I think I like that cos it doesn’t allow access for just anybody.😁 Overall, I’ll say 8/10.

It's not easy to locate. The environment not really inviting I kept shrubs, indoor looks almost like a museum with all these old antiques. The meal is so sumptuous and delicious

I don't hate the place but I don't like the place as well, from the fact that there is no parking space and its really not easy to get. Their service is below excellent. No consistency in their drinks(cocktails), three cups same drink but different tastes. They close business by 9pm and don't care if you are done or not they show you the way out. Not a place I would go again.

Cafe chrystalis is easily one of my favourite restaurant. They've perfected their menu and its always very satisfying. The Ventura mall outlet features an outdoor dinning experience, it's an easy option for a date or casual business lunch. I hope more items could be added to the menu and substitution could be done to accommodate a wide range of diet types. My food was super delicious by the way

Fair. The ambience was a little below what unexpected based on the comments from friejds. It needs to be a bit better. Also their menu is rich but they didn't have more than half of the items on their menu when I visited. Courteous staff and good choice of music

The first photo is the interior of the Bodija branch. The other photos were taken at the Ring road branch. The ambience of both places are okay and quite artistically designed. They function as a private, intimate and classy restaurant with a homely feel. Their staff in both places are nice. The barbecue chicken I ate and the food in general tastes nice, and is affordable. However, I think their ambience can be upgraded to a style that is current but still uniquely theirs. They also have some rules. No external photography Cutting fee if you bring in your cake for your celebration. I am giving them a 3 star for the upgrade on their decor which I'm waiting to be done.

Great serene restaurant, a really cosy place. Their staff are very courteous and professional. All forms of payment are accepted. Suitable place for an intimate dinner or get together with friends. Also has a beautiful compound where one can take nice pictures. Food and drinks are affordable and made fresh.

This is a really nice place to dine- alone or with a group. It has a very calm and soothing ambience. The food is nice and very affordable and the portions are quite big. They have this platter (an appetizer) that my friends and I really enjoyed- especially the popcorn shrimps! I had the rice with shredded beef sauce and it was good- but if you like a lot of pepper in your meals, you may not find it spicy enough. The service was great and they also have really nice picture spots of that’s your thing. All in all, I absolutely recommend

Cafe Chrysalis has always been a place to go for great food and ambience, serene too. If you need a place you don't have to shout at your date (lol, because the music is probably too loud), this is your best choice.

The Privacy, the Ambience, the Staff, the food, is 110%. However it is a bit Tricky to find. It is also one of what makes it cool. You and whomever goes, can hear yourself think and talk without random distractions

They started late but still had a 5 star brunch. How? The food quality was top notch whole the flavor/seasoning and spice levels were excellent. That grilled chicken tasted as close to Deep Southern grilling from the USA that I've had since evening here. The desserts were intriguing and exceeded expectations as I don't care for desserts but that chocolate strawberry pudding type dish tastes like ice box pie from home. The Chapman offered while we waited during their setup was superb. Nothing over powered anything as everything complimented each other dish. Orange juice. Waffles. Pancakes. Small chops. Jollof rice. I always love here but recently there's a dip in the taste of meals. Most times they are short of available menu and mock tail. There's need for prompt upgrade. Place is dying by the day. Still have very courteous staff. And please Rat control should be looked into.

If there was a rating lower than 1 star, I'd give it. The place was hard to find, first of all. A lot of the meals on the menu were not available. The food I finally settled for was served after more than an hour compared to the 30 minutes on the menu. Despite that, it was cold and simply nauseating! All I paid for was a nice looking room and a wine glass. Never again.

This is a very beautiful place. The ambience is beautiful and the decor is exquisite. The first time I went to Chrysalis, I was so impressed with the decor and neatness that I spent time in the convenience to admire the decor. The food is also very good though abit on the high side if you're usually used to Buka food. They also do delivery.

It is a very coded place. If you dont want to interact a lot with people then this is a good place for you to visit. You don't have to worry too much about running into random people. The food is also really affordable and tastes good too so that is great.
