Getting
to
the
place
was
an
onerous
task.
The
road
was
not
smooth
and
access
was
a
little
clumsy.
Once
we
located
the
site
however...it
was
an
impressive
sight.
An
adequate
car
park
after
driving/riding
through
an
imposing
double
gated
entrance.
After
parking,
we
moved
into
the
ample
playground
cum
park.
Lots
of
space
with
pagodas
and
rotunda's
for
privacy.
As
we
moved
ti
the
main
attraction
which
is
the
tower,
we
passed
by
the
open
air
amphitheatre
and
went
on
to
the
tower.
Curiously
as
narrow
as
the
tower
was
...
It
had
an
entrance
as
well
as
an
exit.
This
was
necessitated
by
the
way
the
staircase
was
constructed
.
If
two
people
ever
met
going
in
opposite
directions
on
the
stair
case
one
has
to
back
down
fir
the
other...so,
they
deviced
an
up
route
and
a
down
route
hence
the
entrance
and
exit
...
Works
brilliantly
by
the
way.
Climbing
the
stairs
was
a
surreal
experience...
One
started
in
brilliant
light
that
soon
turned
to
almost
pitch
darkness
in
the
bekky
if
the
tower...the
darkness
then
turned
to
brilliant
light
as
one
gets
ti
the
tio
to
emerge
seemingly
at
the
top
of
the
world...the
view
is
simply
breathtaking.
Ibadan
spread
out
like
so
many
broken
clay
pots
it
it's
brown
roofed
glory.
Land
marks
could
be
located
in
the
vista
that
confronts
one.
The
uch,
governors
lodge,
Adamasingba
stadia,
cocoa
house,
Bola
Johnson
house
(broklin
house),
dugbe,Saint
James
cathedral
etc.
Now
that
a
tourism
firm
has
taken
over
...
We
hope
to
see
a
complete
renovation
of
the
entire
structures
outside
the
park
as
well
as
new
innovations
such
as
bottles
water
bought
and
drank
in
the
venue.
I
thoroughly
enjoyed
myself
and
will
be
back
there
soon.
