Very nice hotel, excellent rooms and the pool is has a heated waterfall!

All was excellent until we went to sleep, If you weigh over 200 pounds, the beds ar too soft for you, and even that they offer a new room, the same thing, I have to sleep in the floor, was better for my back.

Staff was phenomenal! Very friendly and accommodating. Great location!

I already spoke with management but wanted to leave my honest review of my experience. I had two uncomfortable encounters with the staff that left me feeling a bit attacked by them. First encontrar. I booked a room at this hotel to have a romantic staycation with my girlfriend while I visited her in ibague. When I checked in, I notified reception that my girlfriend would also be staying with me but she wasn't with me at the moment to check in so I gave them her name and they didn't say anything else. When me and my gf walk into the hotel together the first floor security came at us a bit aggressive saying she is not a guest. I explained that she was because I believed that at the time. Later that night we returned to the hotel and one of the staff came down to open up and he mentioned she wasn't a guest again .. I explained to him that I had told reception she would be arriving and he kindly explained to me that reception should have mentioned that when she did arrive she would need to provide her documents to be allowed as a guest. When we went up to reception to fix the issue we were greeted by another staff member that spoke to us a bit rudely saying that we should know better and this is our fault. And kept putting the blame on us. For context I am a foreigner and she is a local. I explained to him that I had no way of knowing and then he put the blame on her. This was my first and last stay at this hotel. Should have chosen to stay in a airbnb. Other than the two rude staff members that ruined my experience. The hotel was clean the room was nice. Pool and rooftop bar was also nice.

Us citizens beware. I stayed at several hotels throughout Colombia and did not have to jump through as many hoops as this place required. Furthermore, they took hard copies of private identification which made me feel extremely concerned. They would not allow booking unless they took it and we were not told what they do with the hard copies. I would not recommend for foreign travelers for that reason. The rooms are relatively clean although mine specifically had a stains on the curtains and walls. Edit: service at breakfast was great the hotel should consider it's documentation policy

The best is the rooftop pool, the area is great lots of nice and trendy restaurants, for sure the best area in the city.

Sonesta Hotel in Ibagué is an extraordinary place. When you arrive you are greeted with a wonderful smile. You are wonderfully helped with your luggage. At the front desk they assist you quickly and kindly. It is an incredible place. The rooms are spacious, ask for the room with terrace. Highly recommended. The restaurant is super spacious and tidy. The menu is super varied and very professional. I can say with great satisfaction: It is impeccable. The food is exquisite. There is no regular dish. I really like the menu of Sonesta. The staff and all the members of the hotel are always at your disposal. Excelent and ample parking at an exclusive place in the city. The pool, sauna, steam bath and massage area is nice. Everything is well separated. I will most definitely come back. It is a 100%.

Another great stay at the Sonesta Ibague. The location is great, the staff are fabulous and the amenities are fantastic. We loved the rooftop pool, sauna, and Turkish bath. Breakfast hits the spot, internet is reliable, and the price is very reasonable. We look forward to our next stay.

Amazing place to stay in Ibague. Hotel is in a great location, modern, clean, well organized and staffed by most amazing, professional and hard working people (all deserving of a raise). After staying for a couple weeks, I feel like I left a bunch of friends behind. I cant imagine for a better place to stay in Ibague and hope to be back soon. Couldnt recommend staying here more. Thank you bunches, Love you guys!

The food isn't good, the service on breakfast zone is worst.

Refused to accept our ID cards at check in despite them being the valid ones issued by the Colombian government. Left us waiting in the lobby while we sorted out their incompetence. Appalling service.

Very noisy and nobody seems to speak a word of English. Don't think it is worth the money.

I absolutely loved my stay at this modern hotel! My favorite part was the waterfall shower and the pool area with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The breakfast was tasty and the coffee delicious. The staff was very nice and several of them spoke English which I appreciated very much. The location is good, it’s near shopping and several good restaurants. Highly recommend Fervor just down the street.

Very well located and with different options. The breakfast can be a lot better. Rooms are great, hotel service but restaurant one has a lot room for improvement. Nice
