とある日の午後、葛飾八幡宮を参拝させて頂きました。東京東部の歓楽街・錦糸町からも近このお社のご創建は1100年以上前の平安時代。都内でも屈指の歴史を誇る由緒あるお社です。 主祭神は応神天皇、神功皇后、玉依姫命の三柱。摂社・末社にはスサノオノミコトや、宗像三女神、木花咲耶姫命などがお祀りされています。 下総国(現在の千葉県)総鎮守八幡宮として鎮座されて以降、歴代の朝廷をはじめ、平将門公、源頼朝公、太田道灌公、徳川家康公など時の実力者や住民たちから永きに渡り崇敬を集めてきました。 現在は参道の途中に鉄道が走っている珍しい神社です。御神徳は厄除開運・必勝・安産・育児守護、他。 拝殿・本殿の脇には国指定天然記念物である神木「千本公孫樹」（せんぼんいちょう）が佇んでいます。推定樹齢はなんと１２００年！また、３３年毎の「三十三周年式年大祭」も有名です。ちなみに前回は2017年だったので、次回は2050年！？近くに住んでたら見に行こうと思います。

Calm Sanctuary

Very spacious and spiritual shrine in this locality. You could see a 1200year old tree which has single root but many trunks. It is nearer to station and easily accessible, since it is a Ajisai season could sense some flowers blooming

A great place to pray and experience some inner peace. Easy & quick to get to from the local station and it has a small play area nearby, which is a big plus for people who go there with young children😊
