A good suite. Nice interior and exterior decor. Comfortable and cozy environment. With bar services, swimming pool and more. There are halls that can be hired for conferences, seminars and other events. Customer service and other units work well and attend to visitors warmly. I recommend Transcorp Hotels Calabar.

I know how much it costs to have someone teach you a high ranking skill as forex trading but HFM took out time to dish out their well of knowledge for free. This is really thrilling. I got to learn a lot of things that I couldn't even learn in paid classes. Long live HFM!

High quality staff but poor building structure and environment. The annex is an eyesore. From Reception to Housekeep and Kitchen, top notch response. They deserve a five star for the staff. Leaking roof in the kitchen, water dripping all o er the bathroom wall, flies in the hall. Not good enough. It no fault of the human resources but investment in the structure of the Hotel.

Excellent service. Meals taste good but are a bit pricey. If you intend to use the hotel for an event, be ready to pay VAT, service charge, and CRS tourism levy. Public restrooms need to be upgraded. The pastry section sells nice and tasty pastries. The staff are courteous.

I guess Transcorp focuses all their attention on the Abuja location because the whole experience was a bit meh for me. The hotel could use an update as some of the amenities were a little outdated for me. I liked my room but wished the air conditioning cooled faster. The guest elevator didn’t work so we had to use the stairs to the first floor to access the service elevator to get to our rooms. The elevator in question was tiny, dark, and made sounds like it was ready to retire; I had to say a prayer each time before entering. The breakfast buffet choices were a bit underwhelming but they tasted good. The croissant looked and tasted like bread. The gym was small and full of people and only one treadmill worked so I had to wait 30 minutes before I could use it. It’s still one of the best hotels in Calabar so I guess I’m stuck with them. πŸ˜ͺ

It is just okay hotel. The hotel needs major upgrades: failing water heater, leaking roof etc. My review here is because I expect more from a facility owned or managed by Transcorp hotels. All the best.

Trans corp Hotels Calabar is a definition of class and eloquence. Standing at the very heart of Calabar and facing all the important government agencies including the Governor's Office, Calabar Sports Stadium, and Various other Agencies of government. Eastern Naval Command, NNS Victory Headquarters, Cross River State House of Assembly Complex and Naval War College is also in close proximity. Security here is top notch and their rooms is a definition of class. Swimming Pool, Chinese bar, their restaurant serves all the intercontinental dishes. Conferences are held in their conference rooms and they have a secure parking lot too.

This hotel has lost its standards if you ask me. Transcorp used to be one of the best hotels in calabar a few years back. I don't know what to say about it now. Most people will still use this hotel because there is only one other hotel they would rather use and based on proximity and all they might choose it. However, there's so much work that needs to be done here to bring back the metropolitan hotel I once knew in calabar.

The rooms are of good standards with cable network if you're an indoor person. There's a bar on the ground floor where the reception is located but if you'd prefer something outdoor then you're covered. Just stroll to the pool side bar that serves grilled fish. Awesome customer service by their polite staffs. I'll highly recommend Transcorp for a peaceful stay in Calabar.

Reception and Front desk a delight and great ambassadors of the hotel. I was impressed. However... The Suite is not a suite... Lack of improvement over the years which is seriously disappointing. Leaking AC flooded my suite overnight. Can't fall its cooling strength though which was a delight as I love and need very cold temperatures for a good night's sleep. Updating required for the bathroom facilities and toiletries. The restaurant dinner was pleasant with helpful friendly crew. Breakfast was chaotic which may be due to the group the hotel was hosting but it left a poor impression. Concierge helpful warm and understanding. Shout out to scholastica and her boss during her shift as well as Cletus. You guys rockπŸŒŸπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

The place is easily accessible, great ambience at the pool side, the main restaurant is also beautiful. Things there are not as cheap, water 500, chicken and chips 4500. The chicken and chips was really nice, the service was OK too though not as quick as I wouod have loved

The hotel is quite close to the airport. Has a functional standby generator for power outage. The staff are very polite and efficient The rooms are clean with clean white sheets

With a name brand like Transcorp, a lot more is expected. This one has yet to live up to that billing. The exterior of the hotel could do with a better paint job and the lobby/reception needs to be more alive. You walk into the hotel and everything looks drab and dull despite the quality of the furniture. The hotel needs to invest in spirit-lifting ambience enhancement, it would bring out the glow and attract more people like me.

I am highly impressed with the management of this hotel. From the warm reception of staff, the housekeeping, nice meals, to the professionalism, everything is top notch πŸ‘Œ. It has nice rooms with good facility, a gym, a swimming pool, a conference room, a wine bar, an ATM machine, a gift shop, a pastry shop, some chalets, and a good security arrangement. If you are visiting Calabar and you need a nice hotel to stay, Transcorp Hotels Calabar, is that place. Enjoy πŸ˜‰!

5-Star hotel located in the heart of Calabar, the Cross River state, with unique facilities. 24 hours internet access, passage for people with disability, complimentary break fast, local and international dishes. It's a good place to be!

This hotel has excellent management, in my estimation. The rooms are exquisite and very comfortable. I forgot my toothbrush at home and was wondering how to brush my teeth. But I found that the hotel had put a toothbrush among the bathroom kits. It was the softest brush I have ever used. For the first time I fell in love with a toothbrush! The staff are very cordial and dutiful. The complementary breakfast was great, though options were limited. I was handed WiFi login details upon check-in but I didn't use it. So I can't say if it's working. The window view from my room wasn't very wonderful so I didn't bother to open the blinds. I found drops of water on the floor under the air-conditioning panel.
