The gate fee is 2,000 per person while parking fee is 1,000. You're allowed to bring in your own food, horse ride is also available at a negotiated fee. Tent is available as well with a token (not too cost) While there's an inscription that the swimming is not allowed, you can still swim under a strict supervision. The security there is ok.

It was marvellous. The body of water was a sight to behold. The sand was absolutely beautiful. But the beach was really really dirty. And there were all manner of people doing all manner of things. However be careful when you go horseback riding. Ask for the price first!

Elegushi Beach still remains the best for me. I am allowed to bring in my food's and drinks. I can pay for a spot to enjoy great music , eat, and dance away with my friends and family. There are other specs, which include horse riding, manual roller coster, etc

I enjoyed this beach. I apologize, I did not get the name of the restaurant. The food was tasty. There was some trash on the beach with sea plants. The beach was active with people of all ages. The water currents were strong, and sand was soft. There were activities for all ages to enjoy. There were men with horses assisting people with making memories.

Elegushi Beach is a private beach ๐Ÿ๏ธ which is located at Lekki Phase 1 here in Lagos, Nigeria. Itโ€™s a nice place to be during summer time. The entrance fee is now 3,000 Naira but it use to be 2,000 for Adult and 1,000 for the kids. During Festive period, itโ€™s usually occupied with a lot of people, about 10,000 if not more than that. They allow people come with their food ๐Ÿฅ˜ ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿฑ and drinks ๐Ÿน๐Ÿบ๐ŸฅคChairs, Table, Tent will be rented and price varies based on the seller. There are different kinds of activities that can be done in Elegushi beach which includes Horse riding ๐Ÿ‡ , Swings ๐ŸŽก, Beach Volley, Ride Beach bike ๐Ÿ๏ธ , Climb ๐Ÿง— the Rock ๐Ÿชจ.

I had my most favorite beach time on this beach recently, despite that I had visited 5 times before this. This time I visited on a Monday afternoon. We were only 6 on the beach and had no contact with one another. It was peaceful, the wave was high and very breezy, I dint have to pay to seat under a tent, I went on the rock and got naked ๐Ÿ˜‚ no one was looking, read, meditated and beached away the entire day! The gate fee was still 1000naira

Elegushi private Royal Beach, is one of the good beaches in the Lekki axis. Its was so crowded today because of the holiday, everybody is out here receiving fresh Sea breeze and enjoying the boxing day. Even the out door lounges are in full operation today with good Dj's on the standby playing music and entertaining people, so many rides for kids, horse ride too available. It's well secured.

First off, the ticket vendors requested for #2000 each which didn't seat well with me and extra #500 for the car. ๐Ÿ™ƒ Because I checked online before going and it's #1000 entrance fee, after much dragging they accepted. That aside, I enjoyed every moment here๐Ÿ˜ The water was so clean, the beach was neat too Only that the stuffs sold inside were quite expensive. (Much expected)

Neater than the last time I visited. It's a fun and beautiful place, with nice attractions for kids and adults. Ideal for photo shoots, parties, proposals, picnics, and general fun. There are also lovely art works and keepsakes that are hawked on the beach; you can get a good bargain if you're good at wrangling. However, their gate fee was a little on the high side and we got charged (outrageously too) for nearly everything! Gate pass, parking fee, seat (good thing we came with our picnic mat), even taking pics on the rocks! We didn't fall for that anyway (the payment for pics on the rocks), just sha shine your eyes if you're intending to visit, those Lagos hustlers be everywhere trying to rip visitors off at the slightest opportunity.

Been a while I went to Elegushi "private" beach โ›ฑ๏ธ๐Ÿ–๏ธ and things haven't changed much. I paid to enter the beach (2k) per adult, children go free and paid for parking. I went midday so the beach was less crowded. Enjoyed the clear blue skies and ocean breeze. The squishy beach sand under my feet.....nice!. It's best to come early and leave when the crowd starts building, hold your precious items safe and tight, and avoid the big waves. I recommend walking the length of the beach and enjoy the ocean breeze ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Enjoyed my beach experience. It was filled up but what is fun without people. The canopy space cost between 5K to 10k depending on the number of chairs you want. You can get anything here from drinks to food. And you are allowed to bring in food. Entry fee is about 1,500 but children below 10 would be allowed in for free.

If you happen to be looking for a cool beach in Nigeria best for adventures, relaxation and all round fun with a connection to Nature then this beach is for you. There are hotels on the beach. This place is fun both day and night the sun rise and sunset here are spectacular. The overall experience you get can only become better. This a place to be to forget about the nation's headaches. Just chill and have fun and connect with Nature. You will enjoy every moment spent here.

It was a fairly nice place once you got to the beach. The rush of waiters trying to get our business was to much. If you ride the horses on the beach (recommend this) make sure they give you a price upfront. If not they will rip you off. Pics and vid are a great idea. Make sure if you're buying that it is complete and you are happy. Just know everything has a price. Even sitting. Traffic out was horrible, worst I've seen in 6 months. We have great memories that we will keep forever so it was all worth it. I could've given more stars if not for the pressure of the workers interference with our fun.

Nature at this finest, of course. Is it the heavy fresh waters or the windy comfort? Could be the colour and grace that people litter the sands with. Even kids have no issues communing with the sands. For what nature is worth, Elegushi beach is simply for the living.

Coooooolllllll! My only reservation, too many hustlers, they won't even allow you have a peaceful moment!!!! Gosh!! A part of the beach was littered with dirt, broken bottles etc. Why the gate fee if the beach cannot be kept clean? It can be better.

First of all, they charge #2000 per head. I know that it is a private beach but for that price, the beach is not properly taken care of. The horses look inserted and the price of everything is expensive except riding the horses.

I visited on a calm friday and everywhere was quite calm. There were little activities. Access fee of about 2k, after which you pay another 1k. There are some cool bars around but I'd prefer a company of friends in a quite corner. Security here is assured once you patronise the locals, they'll watch out for you and ensure no one comes close, but if you do otherwise, you might see otherwise. Overall a nice place to be. The waves and cool breeze from the ocean made my stay a memorable one.

Fantastic place for a get away and beach experience, gate fee is the not cheapest ever in all the beaches in Lagos just 1000 per adult is so encouraging to be there every weekend. Wished I can be going there every week to ease myself stress of working Monday to Friday. Coming back with my family to have fun soon.

Elegushi Beach is a privately owned beach. The entry fee per person is #2,000. However, with a group, you can get to bargain entry. Parking space at Elegushi Beach is #500 per vehicle. A shed can be momentarily paid for at the rate of #5,000 and above, depending on your bargaining power.

A very good spot to relax and experience some surreal ocean waves and breeze. Entry is quite cheap and there are lots of extra seaside activities all at affordable rates. You're allowed to bring in your food and drinks but those are available on site. Perfect for someone looking for a quick getaway from the Lagos hustle and bustle, or for a group of friends or family looking for some fun, quality time. Security of lives and properties is adequate, and the clean white sands, tall trees, and crashing waves give a sense of calm and ease away from the noise in the city.

Beautiful site, white sands, big rocks, really bluish green water color, the only criticism I have is the rate at which people are charged per head #1000 in a car and the smoking and the usage of Indian hemp on the beach is on the high, so preferable for a family outing, you should go towards 11:30am -5:00pm, that's a perfect time to enjoy yourselves and avoid traffic. Aside that its a nice beach

This is one of the best and well-managed beaches in Lagos, Nigeria. In its vicinity, it houses other beaches like; wave beach, mood lounge, etc. They all share the same waterfront which stretches along the coast. Neat environment though no enough car park space.

I dunno how this guys do it, but the water is very clean ๐Ÿฅฐ I loved it, no one single debris. Gate fee is 1000 per head (adult), dunno bout kids. You can haggle price if your group is large, you need to talk to them calmly though. We had to work from the gate to the beach which wasn't so bad really, the spaces to sit are a bit pricey but you can buy drinks instead of paying space fee. Going back soon definitely ๐Ÿ˜Š

Elegushi beach in itself is a beauty to behold. The water has a character that can be felt. However, the environment still needs to be developed either by the government or the private sector. The locals charge unreasonably and the sad reality is that the money doesn't go into developing the area. In all, fun is assured with spots for amazing photos.

Cool hangout beach. Be prepared to pay above normal for most items. Also, be smart to avoid being exploited. It's advisable to buy most of your consumptions before coming. However, it's cool to patronize the locals at the beach. It would have been so cool if there's a standard hotels at the beach and not those shanties.

A nice, large place. The beach is quite dirty though. Got nicked by a piece of broken glass in the sand. A fun place anyways with a large crowd too. The place is large enough to get away from the noise for some peace and quiet whenever you want to. *** Went back a few days ago after about a year. Face masks seem to be required before entry so it advisable to carry one along else, you may be asked to buy at the gate which would be most likely like four times the original amount. Gate fee is still #1000 per person. You can try negotiating to lower the price if you are in a group. To get a place to sit (an umbrella stand at one of the buildings on the beach) would cost about #5000 but we were able to beat it down to #3000๐Ÿคญ The beach seemed a bit cleaner than before, even the waters itself. Probably due to the lockdown this year and all. I thankfully did not get a piece of broken glass in my foot this time๐Ÿ˜†

I don't know if this is how beaches in the world are. Inasmuch as I love the serenity of been by the shoreline, I wonder if the environment shouldn't be as clean as possible. I came across a broken piece of glass on the beach. Also, note that you will walk barefooted for most the time. For a beach that's not so clean and it entry fee cost 2,000 naira begs me to ask what they use the funds for. My ratings could have been lower but the serenity of the beach cuts it for me.

The beach current is very high. Beware!!! Don't swim. No divers or wave current lines. Gate fee #2000 Is a #PrivateBeach โ›ฑ๏ธ๐Ÿ–๏ธ. More entertaining on weekends Saturdays Sundays. Monday to Friday less visit to the beach. Good place for #Hangout for friends, lovers and family #qualitytime. Background music available. Horse ๐ŸŽ rides available Photographer 24/7 Foods & drinks available. Evening time the beach is nice for #DateNight Since is a private beach you need to pay for seats. If you are going alone apart from gate fee seat reservation are negotiable. Roughly #3000 -#5000 can give you access to the beach. Visitors friendly. One of the most visited #beach in #lagos. Located along Nike art center road #lekki. Not disabled accessible because of the private beach demarcation. On a special arrangement with the owner they'll help you lift up your โ™ฟ. For the #depressed good time to access the beach is morning/ evening hours sunrise ๐ŸŒ„๐ŸŒ… and sunset ๐ŸŒ‡ so you can feel the nature. For fast healing. For visitors from #diaspora use Uber or Bolt app to access the beach and by the help of a #tourguide he/she can help you take your own photograph. #Hotel available around the beach. I will revisit again for more updates and new change. Follow me to see more travel destinations in Nigeria.

Great place. Fun to be at. Entry fee is 1000 naira per person. The water area has a lot of clubs that you can sit at. There are also chairs and tent that you can sit around and drop your stuff while you go to the water. The water has a lot of sand in it but I was able to find a spot towards the rock that didn't have as much sands. There are multiple games like horse riding among others. The area is cool and relaxing to be in, there's a bar available for food n drinks, there's horse riding, you pay a gate fee of 1k, then you can enter the premises, there's also a night club here. Lastly, it's a great place to do a Photoshoot and meet like minded people.

My experience at Elegushi Beach was cool. It's a well organized beach, with gate for entry and exit. There are fixed official gate and parking fees. The beach also have multiple bars for night life. There are seat outs, grills, food and drinks. Lots of music

  • 3/5 Tamara M. 3 years ago on Google
The entire place was overcrowded. We were at a private resort where we paid quite a lot of money to relax and eat our own food. The resort was private but the beach had no demarcation. People from outside could get to that side of the beach, making it difficult to practice social distancing. Overall, too many people were let into Elegushi

Elegushi Royal Beach is such a good place, it's a refreshing ground but for the crowd that thronged the place on New Year Day. It allows one the opportunity to enjoy the sea view, to enjoy its coolness, ability to unwind, and launch back to greater and higher aspirations. I love to watch the waves crash into each other to rebuild up again. The most fascinating of all is the persistent nature it goes and comes without relenting. Elegushi is a place to visit.

The beach is beautiful and quiet, the owners could be one to something only if they clean the beach. It's very dirty and that put a dampener on the activities

  • 4/5 Ifeatu O. 1 year ago on Google
The beautiful and serene beach is located at Ikate. This happened to be my first visit and there was an entrance fee of 1000 Naira ( the guys at the gate claimed they had discounts because it was a holiday). Right inside, there were several bars and clubs. The clubs basically have sitting spaces and visitors will nave to pay to use the space. In fact, we use the beach and never had to sit for too long in any of the clubs. It was fun and I hope to visit a day there'll not be too much noisy music.

  • 3/5 Michael F. 2 years ago on Google
So, many tents to seat but for a cost. I so much loved the environment and how clean the beach was on my visit. The beach has a cool tide notbtoo strong making it possible to get your feet and if you want your whole body inside the water, don't forget to mention how much salt you tasted, lol. Pictures would be nice with most of the background. Horse ride? Yes, with the guides to aid riders easy access to the back of the steering. Enjoy the horse ๐ŸŽ ride. I am not sure of the price per ride. FOR PARENT WITH KIDS, the beach might not have a concrete adult content restriction, meaning, it is possible your kids see people smoking cigarettes, or Ladies in beach wears (bikini, one I saw myself). Overall, I am rating it a 3 of 5, because not being conscious of the kids around, it should be a beach for all. To mention, if you drive in, gate fee is 2,000.

  • 4/5 Idowu A. 11 months ago on Google
The beach is nice with a great wave and enough space to walk by the water. The entrance fee at the time of this review is 2,000 and a parking fee of 500. Prices of drinks are reasonable.

  • 4/5 John D. 10 months ago on Google
My time spent at the beach was wonderful. I got to see the beautiful seemingly endless sea and how it merged with the sky, I watched the waves dance for hours as I enjoyed my drink. It was nice experience. However the only bit I didn't enjoy were the men on horses calling me, to the point of harassment at times to rent a horse. Still, I'd definitely visit again.

A beautiful recreational centre with easy entry and exit. So organized with different recreational experiences ranging from horse riding, games and beautiful lodging. It's a good place for relaxation as the natural cool breeze and atmosphere is does the body good. Very good for all forms of picnics both family and organizational, you wouldn't want to also miss the experience of good music which is food for the soul. Elegushi Beach is where all the fun lies ๐Ÿ˜Š. An experience like never before. In fact, I long to return there once more as the horse riding is really amazing ๐Ÿคฉ. The entry fee per person is #2,000. However, with a group, you can get to bargain entry. Their Parking space is 500naira per vehicle and a shed can be momentarily paid for at the rate of #5,000 and above, depending well you can bargain
