Pounded Yam Village is a delightful place for your traditional Nigeria cuisine. It is an upscale place where you get eat your delicious pounded yam ball food with an array of soup to choose from. Vegetable, egusi, ogbonno are some of the soup served. You can also buy semovita and Amala. The environment is neat, the food is delicious and the waiters are good. You don't need a reservation. Cash and card payment is accepted.

Nice location for local delicacy. It is a mono food restaurant. Only poundedyam and variety of soups like vegetable, egusi (melon), okro and beef, fish etc

The pounded yam and soup is of a good quality but their operations is quite tacky. They open on Monday to Friday

Food is not bad but one of the ladies behind the counter is a cheat. She padded my bill told me it was N12.5K but set the POS to take N13.5K. Go there with cash or not at all.

The pounded yam was firm and tender. Honestly, no pounded yam comes close. They should however temper justice with mercy on the palm oil quantity. The food is overall affordable at 200naira per wrap.

Expected more from the Okro soup. Had a lot of “seafood that weren’t seafooding” - Little morsels of pounded yam just looked funny to me. If you’re really hungry, there should be better places.

One of the best meal I've eaten so far in akure,the only challenge is the crowd but it disperses quickly and gathers quickly but the food is worth the wait, the prices are a bit steep but the food is satisfying, a 100% for me.

Nothing really... But the pounded yam is soft and great..
