Calm hospital. Pretty well organised. Buildings need a face-lift. Hospital also requires necessary upgrades.

It's a very good general Hospital. The hospital is organised in the arrangements of its buildings and various departments. Trees are planted around the facility and close to the car park where visitors can relax. It has a good parking space close to the gate of the hospital. The hospital offers both in-patient and out-patient clinic and other great medical services. The cost of treatment and consultancy in this hospital is also very affordable.

I used to hear people talk about how this place was a great spot to get an exercise in so I thought to try it out myself. The walk to the hospital is best in the mornings (little or no traffic & bustle on the roads). Walking in, the security are courteous and helpful when necessary and if not they just assume u know where you are going. The driveway and premises are clean, paved and unobstructed, almost like a track should be. Each walk round it is about 0.75miles and you will find fitness oriented people of varying degrees. From 6.30am (on saturdays) the spaces towards the back of the building start to get setup as different sections of physical activities to include a karate/taekwondo class for kids mostly. If you live around the area, it's a great spot to get your workout in. Live free, stay healthy!

Went to the dental department for a consultation, friendly doctors and nurses. The wait time wasn’t so bad but as usual being a government hospital payment procedures was exhausting and annoying.

Although the doctors and consultants are very experienced and good at what they do, the staffs, nurses and cleaners can be extremely rude, both to the patients and the patient's family. They lack sympathy and manners. The process followed to get treated is tiring and frustrating also. The environment is also always clean and tidy.

The staff were courteous. I was really wowed by my experience here. However it is obvious they need more staff across board. They also need to expand. Whoever is in charge of sanitation is doing a fantastic job. The environment is so neat and tidy. God bless the management of the hospital. Eko o ni baje o

Among other departments, there is a β€’ Psychiatric Clinic β€’ Emergency Clinic (run separately as an arm of the state university teaching hospital) β€’ Maternity clinic β€’ Mammography Center β€’ Pediatric clinic β€’ Pharmacy ... Special features: β€’ Very affordable services β€’ Large parking lot β€’ Clean and calm environment β€’ Food canteen β€’ Workout area which is very busy during the weekends. Fairly good staff, but don’t expect so much from them. Of course there is wheelchair accessibility

Security at the gate, tricycle for elderly and disabled to get in if desired, the reception next to the garden is the outpatient department. Here there are 3 e point payment centres, but first, do you have a smart card, as this holds your hospital number. If you dont, or you do, to get an appointment with the doctor, and also get the card, the next window at the back of the e payment point you do registeration for card, and ask to see doctor as you require. As at today, payment to see doctor is N700, card is N1,000. You are to sit at the canopy and wait to do vitals and then see doctor, a man would read out names accordingly to know who sees doctor first, according to who came first. Try to have all your complaints written down, or ready so they will answer you in time. If you need to run a lab test or book an appointment for a specialist doctor like ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat), ask the doctor to recommend such. ENT, labor room and a number of specialized clinics are in the building to the left from the long corridor outside, while standing at outpatient. The building on the right is Emergency, the gazebo to the left is the waiting room for the building next to it, the next right building is for trauma and burns, the building to the left is first canteen, then mammography, and children's ward and physiotheraphy. The extreme back of this long corridor are vendors of soft drinks, biscuits, POS, snacks, etc. The records are now computerized, so no need to carry file. There is a lab just next to the vitals room, but if they are closed around 12pm, there is the main lab, all the way down the long corridor outside, the last building on your right. There you meet the reception desk, for them to register u with the lab, and show them your smart card for them to show the cost for the lab test, the account cost inside that same room is where u pay either cash or with atm card, then u sit on the queue next to it to the Phaletomy room, here u will perform the test, come back the following day by 10am right here to ensure ur result has been sent to doctor, this is the last right door in the same room. You can now start the process all over again to see doctor.

Gbagada general hospital provides care for the resident and outsider as well. It has a large Accident and Emergency unit. The parking space is wide. They are trying within their capacity. However, more nurses and Doctors need to be employed. They are chewing more than they can bite. The Medical director need fund to make their a better place. It also has the annex of lagos state university teaching hospital in there.

The hospital is situated on an open land space with adequate parking space and a calming environment for people recuperating. The facilities are being upgraded and staff are always on ground to care for and attend to patients and visitors.

Well my day at Gbagada general hospital is just beginning, I got here at 7.00 am, I was directed to a queue for payment of card(All payment) ,at this time the queue is moderately ok, and so far the staff are welcoming, all smiling, unlike the usual, lousy and nonchalant attitude of staffs at general hospital, but right now it 8.55am the queue at payment section is massively long. I will update this at my day goes. Thank you

I'm mainly reviewing for exercise. The hospital has become an exercise hub for most residents of Gbagada and it is amazing that access is granted free of charge. The environment is well maintained and security is on point. It is also strategically located and easily accessible.

Standard Hospital. Doctors and Nurses are easygoing and hard-working. Different cases and scenes. Nevermind if you see one doctor or nurse looking unhealthy, they are servicing you with their previous time and energy just to keep you going. Who says doctors don't fall ill too? The pharmacy section is above average. The cafeteria is not bad. The smell of food will entice you to come in and fill your belly irrespective of the case that brought you there. All these being said, there is still more room for improvement. God bless you all...

A public general hospital that's quite different from a couple of general hospital that I know of. The premises is we'll kept! Neat! From the main gate to the car parks and the wards! CLEAN & NEAT! I believe that it points to the leadership of this hospital. Kudos to the management team and every staff thereof.

I have heard of how terrible government hospitals are, but I have never witnessed this level of failure. To say I am disappointed does not explain how I feel. I am ashamed. How will a whole GENERAL HOSPITAL not have MOVEABLE OXYGEN for Oxygen dependent patients ?? The constant NEGLIGENCE and LACK of CARE. Not like I blame the staff totally, because why is only one nurse attending to over 10 critically Ill patients in one ward ?? How will a consultant be so brash and rude in his conversations. How do you treat patients that way ? I have used several government owned hospitals, but this one; God forbid. I will not wish it on my enemy.

Gbagada General is what I would call a good old hospital. The design was modeled on how a proper hospital should be. A large expanse of space, well laid out departments. I read that it was founded in 1982 and honestly, the authorities have been able to preserve many of the structures till date. The only lacking area are the human administration parts. It could be better run. Notwithstanding, I visited the place for some 8 days continuously in a row. I rate them above average.

I like the fact that the place look neat and it is divided into sessions. I haven't been to the ward areas so, I can't say much. I went for my COVID Vaccine and everything went smoothly: No delays, good parking space, enough seats for people to sit on etc.

I visited the blood transfusion center yesterday through an NGO that I volunteer for. Feed the Vulnerable Families Foundation Nigeria (FTVF). A total of about more 50 volunteers came out to do this out of a freewill and towards help for humanity. It was really an enlightening experience because the staffs were really patient and helpful towards getting the work done. I look forward to the next time I get to donate again.

General Hospital gbagada is a hospital of a high standard we can find in Africa. It is a government owned hospital with the state of the earth hospital equipments. It covered the expanse land of about 10 acres to accommodate car pack and future developments. Their services span across all medical treatments.

A very neat General Hospital I must say, with modern facilities and of all good, skilled and cooperating Medical Officials. The only thing is that they can be biased based on if you're bringing a recommendation letter from My Oga @ The Top.

The hospital's site plan seems organised and has a generous parking lot. Can't give a broader review, because I had gone to take a covid vaccine. The attendants were very professional.

First visit, terrible experience. Emergency ward. ( 9th Dec 2020 10:30am) the female doctor stepped out over 50 minutes and left us unattended. Complained to the receptionist, she said there's nothing she can do as no doctor available. I should go back and sit to wait for her . Patient is weak and unable to move. I don't think I can ever come back here

Worst hospital ever. My mum was rushed here on an ambulance from another hospital. The nurse read the referral letter for almost 1 hour. Walking sluggishly. He only started asking questions when he saw one of the hospital mangement staffs. My mum ended up dieing. May her soul rest in peace. The doctors and nurses here have saved plenty and allowed plenty to die. The pain is still deep and fresh. I am scared and worried of other patients who rely on this hospital.

Gbagada General Hospital though a Public or Government hospital yet has modern state of the art facilities all within a great neighbourhood. The wide compound is marked with clearly defined walk ways,Drive ways, green areas and wide parking space. The layout also boasts of Accessibility for wheel chairs or people with need for extra care, there are also well planned fire hydrants in the hospital layout with blood bank and blood donation awareness which can be noticed on some premises and on some parked ambulances in the compound. There are also different buildings with health themed arts desig marked on them. #arts #accessibility #hospitality #environment #Green #Blooddonation

One of the foremost general hospital in Lagos Mainland. The hospital is situated in a calm and serene area of which Gbagada area. If you value your health. Please do not go to this hospital. I was so weak and couldn’t eat so I decided to go to this hospital considering it was close to my house. On getting there, the doctors on ground told me to leave that they could only attend to me if it’s an emergency. I literally wasted my time and the little energy left to come to this place. God help meπŸ™πŸΎ

The holdup in that Gbagaga general hospital is really getting more & more worrisome each day I think the road required a traffic control because the traffic light can't control the Cars anymore, sometimes there might be an emergency come to the hospital for faster and Easy movement there should be a traffic control around...
