Cool and suitable for the moment

I visited Esther Royal at night, its a moderately sized hotel with basic facilities, the rooms are quite large, simple and classy. The reception is small but handy. The parking space is very large too. Esther Royal is located at the exit of Ado Ekiti along Ikere road, very close to the Deeper Life Campground, Ado Ekiti. I saw an open field too camped with the hotel towards the entrance. I believe this place can double for a parking space as well as for a small event venue.

Maintenance of the infrastructure is a challenge here as almost everything is not working. The water, the light, intercom, are not as expected. This may not be the place of first choice if you have an alternative.

Bathroom: The heaters seemed to be installed for aesthetic purpose, because each time hot water was needed, a kettle of hot water had to be requested for. No scoop to get water from the bucket. I had to improvise, as I was tired of going down to complain 😪 No rail, so you hang up your towel etc on the door. Room: No intercom, so you have to journey to the reception each time for a complaint. Power: I guess that is a general problem, but it was so regulated that I wondered if "NEPA" still dey Ado/9ja. On bright 🌞 side: The workers were very courtesy despite my feeling that they were stressed.

A moderate or more like a budget accommodation where one can hide from prying eyes. It is located in the outskirts of the city with steady power supply. The hotel is located directly opposite the Prayer Center Church of God along the Ado-Ikere Road.
