Afro Ukpor is the marketplace of the Ukpor people in Nnewi south LGA in Anambra. It got its name from ‘Afor’, the market day. The market is open every day of the week as ‘Ozulu’. However, on Afor day, the market attracts different people from near and wide who come to Afor to buy and sell in bulk as it’s cheaper on Afor day - the market day. People trade all kinds of goods from consumables to non-consumables. Most of the stuff we get in big cities like Lagos were bought from Afor.

It's okay,it's sold almost to the night, I guess it has a weekly market day. Anyway just my thinking .I saw alot of masquerade around there.

A comfortable but rowdy environment for sales of items, foodstuff, goods and services. It comprises of different shops and stands, both on the roadside and also hawked.

The market is a nice place for affordable food stuff mostly on Afor market days. On other days, you can always get quality oils there too. I like the market.

Afor Ukpor is a crowded but calm market. Things are very much affordable there and sellers treats their clients so well

Well it's a local market for the indigenes there but trader mostly come out on the afor market day. So be sure to go there during that time and not the other market days

Nice moderate market from my town Ukpor. Traders from neighbouring nnewi town make farm produce here a bit expensive
