I did a sip and paint kinda brunch here and I love their space a lot, calm and nice. Good cheap local meals. I’d surely visit when next I’m in Calabar.

Very good and tasty food. Well prepared meal. Awesome, quiet and calm ambience. But pricey. Something that stands out is the ambience. Quiet and calm. I liked the wood and mat theme of the environment. Mode of service: A la carte. It means you'll wait for the meal to be prepared in about 20 - 30 minutes. My advice is, if you know you wish to dine here, call them ahead to place a order so they can make it for you before you arrive. I enjoyed dining here but I didn't like the Tilapia fish; twas too dry, which is typical to a number of restaurants in Calabar. Very Courteous and friendly staff. Beyond cash, you can pay with your card via POS or Bank Transfer.

If you're looking for a unique dining experience, FT kitchen is a must-visit. The cooking is excellent, and the service is great. The whole nature and cozy environment makes is absolutely outstanding, along with the classical music in the background, creates a romantic ambiance that is perfect for a date. The games makes the wait time fun..

I totally loved the traditional settings, it was warm and serene. The food was appetizing and freshly prepared so there is a wait time for about 20-30mins. Games like ayo, whot cards are available to keep busy while waiting for your meals to be served. Customer service was fine. I will surely come again if i visit Calabar.

I'm sad I discovered this restaurant on my last night in Calabar. I really really really like the restaurant. The food is fantastic. Ambience is great especially in the early evening. We were a group of 4. Two people had jollof rice with goat meat, one person had efo riro and I had ogbonno soup. I tried everybody's food so I'll be able to give a robust review😅. Portion is sizable too. Jollof rice: Tastes better than it looks. Efo riro: Great. Ogbonno: Great. I chose goat meat and it had assorted (roundabout, shaking) inside also. Liked it very much. I took a picture of my food. The other had already dug into their food before I could get to it. I didn't check out the bathroom though.

FT kitchen, wow! When I heard the name, i thought it was Hefty Kitchen, like the kitchen get weight. The kitchen is located in the serene environment, all woody environment, it was a wonderful experience. The waiter was good too, when it came to communicating and marketing the restaurant. The food was on a different level, I was served soup in a royal bowl. Aditan soup was what i had and it was a blast. My Calabar tour was crowned with the visit to FT KITCHEN. A good spot, they also board game like scrabble, ludo, chess, jenga, whot, and ayo. You have to wait a while for the food, the serve fresh food.

finally the waiting time was 45 minutes and why not we had ordered 3 different meals..Edikang ikong and gari for me.. my second best second only to afang soup. 2 had ordered white soup and pounded yam but i think they had poundo. and the other two egusi soup. Have not mentioned their swallow because i have forgotten. we had initially a jug of chilled Paln wine served in coconut shell cups. never seen such novelty ever and it was worth it. did I say the Palm wine was very very cold? well some of us are still tipsy since. After waiting like for ever, the meal arrived . . not exactly that way ... the table mats first then the water for washing hands. when 2 of us demanded knives and forks, fork and spoons were brought then knives as if delibratly spaced to kill time. Ok the food finally came and the table was quiet every one to himself and the palm wine and a bottle of wine for our lady (and I). In all we had 3 jugs of Palm wine and a bottle of wine. the meal .. yes it was satisfactory...worth the wait. I personally finished my 2 balls of garri. others ? not sure if they did justice to theirs but no one complained. well not load enough. The guy who picked up the bills probably did but in his mind I didn't even see the bills but the waiter was on him bumper to bumper. I had to insist he gives him space to transfer the money. he had to deposit his phone number and name on the bills incase the transfer failed.

Lovely place, their meals are great and the serenity is crazy.. I love the whole Natural and native feel. The quiet there and the steady power supply. And the location is not too public, I love it.

Very locally infused style restaurant with nicely home cooked meal made on order,palm wine is top notch too…

I absolutely loved it here, the whole traditional setting, it's definitely their ekpang nkukwo and palmwine for me❤️ don't forget to visit once you're in calabar you'll definitely love it....

Nice place with great aesthetics☺️ but it takes long before your order is ready, I had to wait for more than 10 minutes before my drink was served and as for the food it took a long time 😫 but the food is wonderful.

Their food is good, though it takes awhile before it gets ready but there are games to play while waiting, ludo, card game and even ayo

This place has great varieties of chicken and other meals. It can be crowding and services become difficult for the attendants. It’s not really a place for views or partying but great eatery point.
