A serene and wonderful place; especially for residency. Has a market, several shops, several schools, several churches some of which include: Roman Catholic, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Assemblies of God, The Redeemed Christian Church of God, etc. The community is enroute to Nsukka. The place a semi-urban area; more like a suburban area from Enugu Metropolis. Some of the few challenges of the place is water scarcity and likely epileptic power supply. The major source of water is well water which usually dries up during dry season. A very lucrative business in this period is Tanker Water Supply and retailing of Satchet and/or bottled drinking water. Also, because of the speedy urbanisation of the community, land acquisition is very expensive yet there is population explosion of the place.

Its a nice suburb, with lots of new residential buildings springing up. Just 100 keke to the local government headquarters and 200 keke to the commercial hub of the city, Abakpa Nike.
