This property is located a few miles to the airport, good secured and gated . The room is ok, it’s a little dated and can use better housekeeping, front desk staff’s give different advice about the elevator, breakfast buffet very tasty and generous. Overall it’s a good stay and I will patronize them again. Helen helped me out and was very helpful.

Was here to pick up my mom to go out. The vibes and lobby are nice. The rooms are very small but I think it solid for the price. They have good food selection. Didn't really stay a night so can't give more than this. From the outside looking in it look like a solid place to stay for a decent price.

Relatively good hotel, most staff are friendly, some can be difficult like on the front counter. Good social distancing measures you get the individual tongs and spoon for serving yourself and tables are laid out individually as well which is good. Housekeeping staff are attentive and help when they can. Not really a hotel where you could stay long term.

Was a bit disappointed with the room size, Twas pretty much a cubicle kind of room. Not enough space, way too minimalistic. Cancelled weekend plans and Checked out the very next day. But the environment is cool

I love this hotel and their space management. They're quite cool and most importantly the staff here are quite courteous and friendly. The buffet is also good and very nice. Love the interior and the whole design. I'll definitely recommend here for anyone that wants to stay within the airport environment

Extremely poor maintenance of the building. Damp rugs on the hallways Roaches in some room, stained bathrooms. Breakfast is okay, customer service could be better too. The rooms are spacious and bed comfortable. Hot water and AC functions good.

I enjoyed my stay here except in the morning when I was about to leave to the airport the elevators were not working, so I had to carry my heavy bags Down the stairs from the third floor. The staff are very friendly. The management need to put in more work in the maintenance of the hotel facilities. Asides that I didn't have any other issues with the hotel. I really enjoyed the buffet and the complimentary breakfast.

Hotel is an OK place, reasonably priced and a good place to stay if you've got an early flight to catch. Complimentary buffet served. Rooms are clean and fresh bedspread. But, bathroom tiles need some touch ups. Overall it's a comfortable hotel.

This Hotel is quite amazing, the standard has been kept for a long time and it keeps going. From the gate, the security is well trained to the service officers. The kitchen service and room service was amazing.

I recently stayed at Ibis Airport Hotel in Lagos and had a mixed experience. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a variety of options. The front desk service was efficient and welcoming. The protective window sun shields in the bedroom was a thoughtful addition. However, my overall satisfaction was marred by several issues. The rug in my room was old and stained, creating an unfavorable impression. The sheets were visibly worn and stained, unchanged during my two-night stay. The fridge, though functional, appeared old and rusty. The outdated TV and chipped wall paint further contributed to a dated atmosphere. Despite reporting an issue with the intercom, it remained unresolved throughout my stay, even after an engineer's visit. These concerns highlight the need for a room upgrade to enhance the overall guest experience at the Ibis Airport Hotel The room was on the third floor

Nice place. Staff are friendly, attend to things promptly (especially the reception desk and the cleaners) and helpful and the atmosphere a very calm one. The gym is oookay but very small compared to the size of the hotel. The swimming pool side is better and I like it better. Very spacious and the deepest end is 1.5m. Table tennis is also available there. The car park seems good too. The food is not bad also.

I think this will be the last time I'll stay here unless a major renovation is done. The room I placed in was dirty. Paints were peeling. Tiles in the bathroom were all messy. The corridors in order to compensate for foul smell from the rug was over sprayed with air-refreshener that it was shocking.

Honestly I love this place before until last night, I make my reservations for a month before when trying to check inn 5pm this hotel attendant told me boldly that the room is not available yet that I should wait until room comes out

  • 1/5 Soumyo G. 2 years ago on Google
Extremely poor service levels and facilities such as lights, intercom telephone etc provided in the room were malfunctioning, which were not repaired or replaced even after repetitive requests and follow up for rectification. The behavior and mannerisms of the hotel staff is not suitable for hospitality industry, they are very dictative and don't care much about customer experience.

Poor managed. Unlike Other Ibis seen world wide. No proper communication from staff for my booking. No international calls available. No reply to mail. No record of booking available with hotel. I waited for 1 hour and went to another hotel. Totally disappointed to see such a poor condition in a well known bussiness hotel. Even their phone in reception was not working . Hotel premises also not well maintained

  • 1/5 Olivier G. 2 years ago on Google
This Ibis hotel, does not follow worldwide standards. It seems it has never been renovated since 1980. Poor services for food & front desk. Dirty rugs and windows not clean. The TV is small with many unworking channels. Looking at the comments, any comments above 4* are probably fake or else they stayed at a different place.

Pathetic service. . No management at first place. Horrible service from the restaurant. It took them one hour to bring small ketchup to the room, 45 minutes for bringing plates. AND THE WORST PART of the stay is we were being served with MEAT WHERE WE ORDERED VEGETABLE BIRYANI. (Being Pure vegetarian)...Despite of clearly written , they did such a big mistake. Service is really really really slow. I would rather stay on road than in ibis hotel. Please avoid, if you don't want yourself in frustrating situation. PLEASE AVOID.

Not a 3 star hotel, but I had to give them 3 star rating. Their rooms were small and clean (if you are lucky to get a room without roaches). Their corridors have this damp smell on the carpet. Very off putting. Their buffet (breakfast and dinner) was ok, although their meals are not flavoured, just the regular taste. They either need to employ new chefs or up their cooking game. The only sight of attraction for me was the outdoor space; the pool side and their garden. That is the only reason I rated them 3 stars.

I am reading some of the comments and wondering if i am at the right place. This place is in a very very extremely bad state. The environment of my room is dull and so dirty, the window does not open for fresh morning air, inside the room feels so humid and definitely a problem for someone with allergies or any breathing underlying condition. The Wifi comes and goes, connecting Wifi to apple devices is a mission. The telephone is not wired properly and makes a serious hiss, then the stuff keeps saying they cant hear you properly. This was recommended as a quarantine hotel by the government and i am only on day 1 regretting ever being here. For the money they charge it is so not worth it and more of a health hazard than anything. The hallway smells bad, the carpet is beyond dirty. All TV channels are not clear and with showers. I have nothing against this Hotel but just sharing my honest opinion of the state of this Hotel. Please remember the photos don’t lie

Ibis Royale International is one of the best hotels along the MM Airport road. Nice place with lovely rooms and bathrooms. Sometimes customer service can act too stylish and proud but still they attend to you nonetheless. Although rooms are expensive but they give one of the best. Classy hotel 👌

Rooms too small for their rates compared to others within and around the same location. The bed is small, sacks lying on it thereby making it very uncomfortable to have s good sleep. No porters, no room service, no attendants/ assistants making the hotel the worst experience for aged guests and visitors.

For the cost of a room, this is a great hotel with proximity to the airport. I live in Lagos but came here for a weekend staycation and I never felt better. I also enjoyed the daily breakfast buffet. The average cost for a room is N24,000 I also really liked the pool area, mind you “no diving” lol.

I really had a nice time at ibis, it was very convenient for me as it was close to the airport so I made it in time for my flight. The staffs were very courteous especially the lady at the front desk I think her name is Jennifer, she was very helpful and friendly.

  • 1/5 Pastor C. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely absolutely horrible... Will not recommend... Dirty dirty, had to use methylated Spriit as disinfect. Food service was horrible too... Restaurant service is horrible... Had to wait for 45mins for cold dried out chicken and cold chips which is the only thin they said they have... Bad experience... Cancelled my other reservation immediately... Not a recommended place to stay for that price asked .. seriously disappointing.

Ibis hotel is a nice hotel to hangout before your embark on a trip outside the country instead of staying at the airport. The room was cozy; members of staff were helpful and kind. The room was about N26,000/night but there wasn't a telecom and towels in the room.

A great 3 star hotel, strategically located close to the Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos. It's different from a typical Nigerian local hotel of It's level. It's a bit pricey, compared to most Ibis hotels worldwide. I will always use it when there's a need.

  • 2/5 Rhoda A. 1 year ago on Google
The bathrooms are really small and the rooms are not great at all. No wardrobes in the room just a corner piece to hang clothes, only one place to charge phones on one side of the room. No one to help with luggages or even finding the rooms. The reception is really bad. Asides that it's closer to the airport, it's not really worth the price. Didn't enjoy the stay at all.

  • 3/5 Okey A. 1 year ago on Google
I love The Ibis brand, but to be honest this Ibis needs to be renovated. The corridor carpet needs to be changed and there’s a leakage in the roof just by the entrance. The breakfast was superb and I think the rooms have a unique interior. Ac worked very well and I had a good time , But there is need for urgent improvement

  • 3/5 Steven A. 1 year ago on Google
This hotel location to the airport is great. Straight shot to the terminals. Great service from the staff, food is great at the restaurant, alcohol is reasonably priced, but the rooms are bit run down. I think a little upgrade to the carpets in the hotel is needed. A little work in the bathrooms can be offered. Other than that, for the price, i will stay there again just for the kind and great staff at the hotel. Great if you have early morning flight you didn't want to miss due to lagos traffic.

  • 2/5 Brian U. 1 year ago on Google
The place needs remodeling. The walkway carpets are in desperate need of change. The room I stayed in needed a carpet change as well. The bathroom shower fitting was leaking. The room phone was bad, full static blast such that communication was hampered. I ate 1 meal and it was poorly done. Perhaps the chef had an off day for that particular preparation. I think they can do better.

  • 3/5 Ifeanyi A. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is slightly above average, not posting to get anyone in trouble but it could use some major TLC!! The room I stayed in was damp!! Major dislike for me. My nose was stuffed and I couldn't breathe properly. The shower was cold which didnt help with my blocked nose. The breakfast was good, I enjoyed the meal I had. I hope some changes will happen in the near future!!

This airport branch needs a total overhauling. The stench from the walkway hits hard. Rooms are cabin sized, interior not so good. However, a beautiful lounge and reception area. I would recommend the Ikeja Ibis.

  • 5/5 Eshalomi A. 1 year ago on Google
So...from the entrance I thought it was a run down place. Boy, was I wrong. IBIS Hotel has great ambience and welcome feel. I would recommend to anyone I know. Great service...wonderful reception and lovely rooms. 💯💯💯

The hotel is really nice, easily Accessible from the airport and back. They offer breakfast buffet and it's so lovely, Varieties of food. I enjoyed my stay they along side my parents. We stayed for about 4days and it's money well spent 😅.

  • 3/5 Mayowa Okubanjo (. 1 year ago on Google
It's an overall decent hotel. Just minor improvements if recommended. There was only one attendant and lots of guests checking in and checked in guests also needed attending to. The young lady, Helen barely smiled but she was probably trying to attend to everyone as soon as possible. The rooms are pretty small and they don't offer any bigger rooms. All the rooms were all the same size. My room had no towels.... had to request it....and one of the side tables was broken. Instead of fixing it, a water bottle was placed on the corner to hide it 🤦🏾‍♂️. I definitely loved the location, ambience, pool, poolside and restaurant food options. Haven't ordered anything yet but will. I'll update how the food was later.

This hotel is not worthy of the ibis name. Not expecting a 5 star Hotel but the quality of the rooms, heavily stained carpets, completely substandard bathroom, not even a towel for the shower floor etc was very surprising. Tje food wasn't great either . I expected a basic minimum standard 3 star. I will not be returning

Rooms are old and tired, carpets need replacing, that said, you get a good night's sleep. Food is good here, but quite expensive. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Located close to the airport. Wifi is quite good.

  • 3/5 Adeoluwa G. 1 year ago on Google
Nice place, nice rooms, nice pool, nice food at the breakfast buffet but it takes forever for them to put fresh cups out for tea, they also disconnect your room card once it’s 12pm not minding if you’ve checked out or not.

  • 4/5 明丽华Vanessa 1 year ago on Google
Quiet hôtel, close to the airport, good food, polite staff. It’s safe. The pool area is clean and a good place to relax in the evenings. Downside: 1. smallish rooms and roar of planes flying overhead often (its close to the airport after all). 2. Needs renovation. Some of the carpet needs to be changed or deep cleaned, some of the wood on the desk by the windows need replacing.

Went with Family for the buffet on 24th of December night but there was nothing special happening . The service was slow . The whole team of waiters were so slow and exhausted I think . We even ordered for a second Fanta that we didn't get till we left. The buffet at dinner is usually the same boring combination even tough this time there was some basmati rice that was quite okay . The Manager over there is trying a lot to maintain the place and beautify the environment . He has all the tools to make the place happening in the area. I think there should be more entertainment options Need to look more into the buffet menu and into the service offered as it is an hospitality business . The place is really nice and quiet to relax and chill . I would definitely be going as I am a regular customer there .

  • 1/5 Ayotunde O. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely below par, rooms and bathrooms look worn out and spaces need thorough overhaul/renovation. Room smelt stale, rugs were stained, sink was clogged, rusty bathroom accessories. I could go on and on.. pictures attached.

  • 3/5 Maryland C. 1 year ago on Google
This place needs a complete overhaul. The corridors are worn, and the windows are very dirty. Covered in black dust. It's such a shame. The staff are very helpful. All the emphasis has been placed in the reception area as soon as you get into the lift. It goes downhill from there. Whoever the hotel manager is should embrace maintenance culture. It won't cost that much to get a window cleaner every month. The carpets in the corridors are seriously worn and stained. Reminded me of a mechanic work shop.

  • 3/5 Olumuyiwa E. 1 year ago on Google
Generally okay. The location is excellent. Just a couple of mins from the Int airport bar any traffic. Service was also excellent with a wide and choice variety of food for their breakfast bugfet. They do, however need to pay attention to aesthetic details. The carpets in the hallway were heavily stained (the floor i was on), and the air was musty. The room was ok, but the bathroom finishing was below par for the standard expected from the Accor brand

I knew the rooms were small from the get go, so I wasn't surprised at that. I was disappointed at how disgusting the bathroom was though. Your bathrooms need to be worked on please

  • 3/5 Senam A. 1 year ago on Google
Careful, not all visa cards work at the hotel and you have to pay before CHECK-IN. Change money at the airport, at least for the first night. The facility, especially, the rooms need some renovation. However, there's always hot water and the generator kicks in within seconds of power going out. Some of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food, the buffet are quite tasty. Very good selection of dishes to suit different pallettes. The pool is really nice

  • 2/5 Enny O. 1 year ago on Google
Was at the hotel to book reservations for my guest, the attendant that was supposed to take me on tour to check the rooms only showed me one room. She didn’t even give me the chance to assess the room as I would have loved to (we didn’t spend up to one minute in the room).Only for my guests to get to the hotel and discovered that room allocated to us were in bad condition and in poor maintenance conditions. It was too late at night so they had to manage the rooms because there wasn’t chance to go look for another hotel. Customers deserve better values for their money.

  • 5/5 Olaseinde L. 11 months ago on Google
Service is poor, workers are impatient, rude and unpleasant. The rooms are cramped and has got a funky smell(I checked about 2 before I settled). Didn't go for breakfast cos i was nauseous from being in the room throughout the night,so nothing on the food. I won't be visiting ever again.👌

I wish the hotel was more maintained and they season their food a little bit more, been there three weekends back to back so I know, the hallway of the hotel always have some type of smell but it’s good for the price. Very cheap and nice free buffet breakfast.

  • 3/5 D M. 10 months ago on Google
Hotel was great, with very smart and polite staff. The only downside was that the rooms smelt like there had been a flooding (floor rug felt moist). The bathroom was bad

  • 1/5 Khala D. 1 year ago on Google
This was the WORST hotel I’ve ever stayed in! I spent my first day in Nigeria/ birthday at this hotel and the service was LESS THAN DESIRABLE. So many of the staff were RUDE as can be and refused to accommodate even the basic needs (fresh towels, toothbrush, etc.). The room was run-down, the halls were musty and moldy, and the staff was RUDE. I would never ever stay here again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. I had to use my boyfriend’s hotspot the entire time (the internet didn’t work) and everything that’s being said about the poor quality of this place is 100 percent accurate. BEWARE!! I will say that the pool was ok but that’s the only good this about this place.

  • 4/5 Oyewole Simon O. 8 months ago on Google
Very close to the airport - about 10min drive. It is a good place for a short visit or overnight connecting flight. I would recommend this place for catching up flights at odds hours. However, it is not the best choice if you want to have Lagos experience. I would move further into the city.

  • 1/5 David G. 9 months ago on Google
About the only good thing was that there was plenty of hot water. 1. I had to check into 3 different rooms before I got one where the handheld shower handle was not massively leaking. 2. The shower door was leaking, so the bathroom floor was covered with water. 3. The bathroom door handle fell off. 4. The room stayed cold, and the thermostat did not work. Even when I turned it off, it kept pumping cold air. 5. You can't make local phone calls on the room phone even though there are instructions posted on the wall on how to make local calls. 6. 2 light bulbs were burnt out 7. The carpet is gross 8. Well organised with very professional staff members. The complementary breakfast is a buffet with many meals. The rooms are small and identical.

Rugs were worn out, the landline was not working, the kettle in the room was not working as well. The bed was a real turn off, it was horribly bad. A thorough renovation of the rooms willd not be a bad idea because alot of things needs to be changed.

Made a reservation online like I usually do being a member of the Accor hotel. Got a call in the afternoon, 17/11/2023 to confirm my availability which I affirmed. Told the caller, a lady, that I will be there unfailingly, though I had a late flight. Asked for a room on the 4th floor which was also confirmed. On getting to the hotel at about 8pm, as booked, was told by a lady at the front desk that they no longer have room! I asked her if she was the one that called to confirm my coming, she said no. This is my first such experience and it is disappointing and frustrating. I had to go all to go all over the place to look for another place to lodge.

Just a few mins from the international airport, it’s a great place to stop over for a rest before you catch your flights
