Do you want that royal treatment like the king and queen you are? Do you want to have a good time with your spouse, family and friends? Do you want to host your guest from different locations or family and friends from Europe, America and other parts of the globe with good security and a safe place to stay? Then Lagos Marriott Hotel Ikeja is the place to be. From the security men at the entrance gate to the guys at the door into the beautiful well crafted structure. To the ladies at the reception to welcome you in and the other staff at the underground car park with good signs to point you to the right place to park The waiters, room service and different well-trained personnel The good tasty well-cooked food and the different kinds of soda drinks, spirits and wine. Sumptuous pastry and dessert The rooms are beautiful with a lovely bath area. If you like me who likes to have a good view of the bathroom with my spouse, oh you're in the right place. The in-house entertainment is mind-blowing. The swimming pool is well taken care of and with good hands to assist you. They've got a good pamper area for your body massage to help you relax. Take out time to go check them out πŸ‘Œ

The ambience in this place was everything and it looks so beautiful at night. It was a friend’s birthday and she had her dinner here at the hotels restaurant where there was buffet. For a buffet, I expected that there would be more options and proteins added but we just had a few varieties to select from but I guess it was because they were about closing . I had mashed potatoes and pork sauce and it had asparagus and other vegetables in it but honestly the food tasted bland and I just had to stuff it in cause I was really hungry at the time. Maybe it was not just my lucky day because I heard great reviews about this place but oh well… Food aside, great place for taking quality pictures but it was a bit rowdy so you just have to be patient because people move around every minute.

It’s a beautiful hotel, lovely ambience with different restaurants, some of which offer buffet options. Had a buffet at azure grill, wasn’t really impressed with the food, maybe cause it rained earlier so it felt like the food was rushed as people were already waiting for the buffet to start and also, the buffet options were limited. Other than that, it’s a nice place to relax, great music was well.

My stay was excellent and enjoyable. This hotel is new, elegant and centrally located. The staff are exceptionally nice and are genuinely interested in guests enjoying their stay. The Spa was serene and the on-site restaurants were great. Did I already talk about the ample free parking? I'm looking forward to returning.

A true luxury 5 star hotel situated in the heart of Ikeja GRA. Chilled at the Idapo lounge and the ambiance of this restaurant is truly breathtaking. From the moment you walk through the door, you are met with an air of sophistication and elegance. The lounge area is beautifully decorated, with plush seating and soft lighting. The interior design is a work of art, with intricate details and a perfect balance of modern and classic elements. The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting, creating a space where you can truly unwind and enjoy a meal. Overall, this restaurant is a true five-star experience, with everything from the decor to the service.

A beautiful hotel with nice aesthetic. Visited the Koriko & Co restaurant for their Sunday buffet. In my opinion the meals where kinda limited would have loved more varieties however they were tasty. It was 15k per head and comes with complimentary water. It was free for kids below 5 yrs. Will definitely visit the Azure Grill to have an experience

I enjoyed my stay. The rooms are really nice and nicely fitted. The bed and pillows were so soft! The ambience is really great as well. Only issue was that the reception never picked up called when I dialed them. The phone goes on ringing for a long time with no response. Almost as though the receptionists were overwhelmed with the amount of people to attend to at the reception. Perhaps a dedicated personnel to answer calls and room queries?

I would easily give this hotel a 5 star rating. They even have two floors below the main entrance you’ll come in through. It’s very beautiful and ambient. The hotel service is impeccable. The rooms are a bit expensive but they’re worth every penny. Now, let’s talk about the restaurant. The restaurant serves a buffet meaning you walk up to what you want and serve it yourself. Their food is so delicious that you’d want to go back to get more. They also have ballrooms for events and parties. The ballrooms are humongous, soundproof and technically advanced to some extent. They’ve got excellent parking space and great customer service too. You will want for nothing in this hotel.

I attended a conference here just last week... it's a beautiful place and the staff have courtesy and are ready to help.. Their hall for a small gathering isn't bad at all, the restroom are very clean, but I think they should work on the female toilet, their is no water accessible in the toilet if you want to wash up, you can only use tissue, which isn’t comfortable for me and some other ladies as well. Aside that, their service is perfect. And of course the breakfast and lunch taste so delicious and you have wide varieties of food, pastries, fruits and Juice

Its my first time here. The staff in IDAPO lounge were very very rude and arrogant. No basic customer service. I expected atleast a certain level of professionalism from such a big hotel staff. Very very disappointed. My husband and i were told that we have to wait for check in time since we didn’t book ahead which i understand. While waiting for check in time we ordered food and drinks. The waitress were so rude. I wonder how do they even get the job. We end up not checking in because of the bad service and bad attitude we got πŸ‘ŽπŸΏ

Great ambience, perfect location. The finishing is superb, and the aesthetics in the interior are unbeatable. Service personnel are well trained and willing to go extra miles to ensure customer's satisfaction. Relish the view from the room if you are on the upper floors. You don't need to be in dubai; this place is Dubai in Lagos. Try their buffet and thank me later.

Dope experience generally. The breakfast was excellent and I had to get it to go cos it was too much. Bluetooth radio to stream my music aloud from my device. The room I was wasn’t sound proof though because I could hear movements and voices from the other room. All together it was a great experience.

Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in like whaaaaaaaat? 😍 Its the everything for Me πŸ€— I had a wonderful experience at Marriott Hotel, I'm not gonna lie. The staff are all great! Every staff member I met, from the entrance gate to the check-in to the cleaning staff to the food attendant (I was there for Chinet conference) were delightful and eager to help! Thank you so much I will recommend to anybody going to the Mainland. And oh Nice food😍

A nice structure , great parking service ( the best I’ve seen so far in Lagos ). Well designed interior and aesthetically pleasing. However find the pool bar , restaurants by the pool a tad bit to lumped up. Other than that , they have a nice array of good red wine selections, coffee is great and also service is great. Would definitely come back to try the food .

This is an enclave of the rich. Not been to a better hotel in Nigeria. The service is impeccable, the staff are friendly, the rooms are different from the norm and all safety protocols seem to have been considered when building this hotel. It's in a central part of Ikeja so you can easily access a lot of places... prices though are for the rich and very rich.

Fantastic ambience, courteous staff. I attended a birthday dinner so we had exclusive access to one of the halls which was nicely decorated. The bar staff were very attentive and ready to refill glasses like clock work. Buffet spread was delicious and lots of variety to choose from. It was an all round pleasant experience and I definitely recommend.

Absolutely stunning! From the entry point to reception, it's all class. The facilities are state-of-the-art. I was pleasantly satisfied with the quality of service there. The staff at the parking lot were very polite. The event hall is fantastic. There's ample parking space for a good number of cars at a time. Location is relatively accessible. There are multiple entry points and parking is free.

One of the best Hotel in Nigeria if not the number one. Everything here is like a promise kept. You can never be wrong coming here. It always a yes for me to come again. Staff are well trained and always willing to help. A typical example of home away from home, the buffet breakfast at the restaurant is an experience you don't want to miss. Loved my stay here. A beautiful place indeed, with wonderful services. I enjoyed the food as well. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the long wait for the elevator, and the elevator opening on floors that the persons have already used another lift, making the journey up or down even longer.

Aesthetically pleasing and popular Hotel in GRA. They have various spaces and areas for getting a quick drink, food, lounging or hanging out. There aren't enough signs and directions to help visitors. We got into an elevator trying to get to the parking lot but it kept taking us to other floors... only to find out from a staff that the elevator doesn't go to the parking lot so we can had to walk across to the other end of the hallway to use another elevator. If only they had such information by and in the elevator. Ordered food by the pool which took a little while to arrive. Club sandwich was great. BBQ burger could have tasted better. It gets really busy on weekends so outdoor sitting maybe be limited. They have ample parking underground and valet parking is available too!

We sat at the pool lounge. The lady that attended to us was fantastic. She did a very good job. The complaint we had about another customer was quickly resolved. The DJ last Friday night was 100%. He did a very good job. I would hire him if I needed a DJ 😁. The food though 🀦. My expectation was higher πŸ˜ƒ I enjoyed the ambience.

Can easily be classed as the best hotel in Lagos. Extremely neat, excellent service, good food, nice rooms. I mean it's still relatively new. Very polite and efficient staff. The hotel boasts of ample car park with 2 levels underground parking. Decent use of space. A number of meeting rooms and halls to host various events. I mean I rarely give 5 stars, but on this occasion, I can't fault this hotel. I hope they can keep it up and keep the facility well maintained in the years to come.

From the entrance to the underground parking space to the beautiful views and high-tech equipments. It was a delightful time and I can't even begin to express how I felt. It almost felt like I was outside Nigeria πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ πŸ˜… I didn't lodge though so I can't say I know how big or beautiful the rooms but I can tell you that if you see a picture of it, believe that its even more beautiful in reality. I enjoyed the Friday happy hour and I'll definitely make it a good habit to do that more often ☺

It's a Marriott. And it ticks most of the boxes with regards to the expected standard particularly the ambience. Parking is definitely not the expected standard, the drive to it is a little clumsy and the actual location can be very very hot. Interior decoration (for the lounges) is just good enough but some elements will need to be changed soon. Food and drinks are a hit or miss. I didn't stay in the rooms so I can't comment on those.

The hotel is a beauty to behold. Well located in the hearths of Ikeja GRA. If you are thinking luxury and security, this is the place to be. From the moment you enter into the lobby of the hotel, to its restaurants (I visited koriko & co) to the pool side, it was amazing. I still feel there is more to be done about the crowd of non guests at the hotel. I can't help but narrate the experience with the staff, they are very welcoming and ready to assist guests at every point.

This hotel is very beautiful, the rooms are great, staffs are fantastic. Chris, Kennedy, Lydia, Victoria and Maureen are great staffs. Food is wonderful. There are some things that needs improvement though, the fake grass carpet on the first floor by pool is a safety hazard. Marriott has to do better on crowd control as so many people flood the lobby just to take pictures, this takes up space for residential guests to relax at the lobby. The entrance is too small for the amount of rooms here, this is the reason for so much traffic congestion at the entrance. The stairs/ fire exit doors can only be opened from the inside, another fire hazard. The elevators needs to be manned always as people exceed the 10 persons capacity most of the time. The service is wonderful and professional.

We visited Nigeria for the Christmas break and decided to have buffet at the Marriott. We went there for a Sunday buffet. The food was amazing, live music was a master class but the service was poor. We were in the outside seating area and it was almost like we had to request for one thing multiple times before it was provided. I’m his definitely took away from the dining experience, hence the 3 stars. The environment was clean and beautiful.

An excellent place to relax, have some really good drinks and food. There is no better food anywhere else in Nigeria right now compared to those served here. The design is modern and the pool side is on the first floor. You have an affordable experience of first class hospitality in the heart of Ikeja.

Impeccable service, well mannered group of staff. Unfortunately, the pool closes at 9pm - didn't like that. They are covid compliant as well. If you do not have a face mask, one will be provided for you. The Lagos Marriot Hotel is a beautiful place ❀️

Absolutely gorgeous place! The aesthetics are tremendous, the architectural works perfect. It's a really classy place with classy and courteous staff. Great ambience...its also very spacious and neat. The environment is serene, great for relaxation/meetings. COVID-19 protocols are adhered to. The food is really good. The restaurant offers an all you can eat menu consisting of different kinds of local and 'foreign' dishes. The rooms are quite spacious and equipped to make your stay comfortable. I feel like there should be flip flop in the room or something to go with the bathrobe anyway. The ground was really cold ❄️πŸ₯ΆπŸ₯Ά. Also the toiletries in my room weren't complete. Could have been a missight tho. There's a gym open 24/7. Great views from the top floors. There's large parking space, security takes their job seriously. You/your baggage would be scanned at both point of entrance.

A great hotel in GRA. It's ranking the number 1 patronised at the moment as it causes massive traffic on the road on a daily due to trooping (inflow and outflow) of different vehicles including government officials (noticeable with the siren and security presence). Security check before entry and underground parking. State of the art facilities within. Five star restaurant serving and great service.

Nice hotel with a chilled ambience you can't tell you are in the middle of a busy noisy town. Breakfast buffet is decent with a good selection of local and international dishes. I wish they had a place for making your eggs though like in other places. Gym was opened 24/7 which I liked, I also liked the complimentary sauna and steam room available for guest. The Spa had great services just make sure you book ahead as they are always busy. Room service came on time, the live band on Fridays was nice Overall it is a great place to stay, I hope they maintain the standard.

We were there for the buffet. The meals were Nicely cooked, ambience was good would need a bit more options though. Price was okay. The only problem was, we were given just one 50cl bottle of water each. I think having a juice/water jar or dispenser like other marriot hotels would be better.

THE BEST HOTEL IN LAGOS. Never thought I would be complimenting an establishment in regards to costumer service in this city. Beautiful place....lovely ambience; a freshentrant into the hospitality scene in Ikeja. The bar and outdoor dining by the pool on the 1st floor is open-air and rain sent us scampering for covering early in the evening. Kitchen appeared overwhelmed by our sheer, and we were only about 20....waiting time was about 120 minutes.

I had heightened expectations for a breakfast buffet at the Koriko restaurant but everything was pretty predictable - safe but not as exciting for me. The Almond Croissants were delicious and waiters were really friendly. The hotel is one of your best options if you want to stay close to the Airport. Worth mentioning that international bank cards work here too. Sounds trivial but you’d run into that problem with most other places in Lagos as a business traveler or tourist.

Indeed, Marriott Ikeja has come to redefine excellence in hospitality business in Lagos and Nigeria. This is a review to commend the team for being always warm, approachable n friendly. I could recall during one of my stay in 2021, I was locked in traffic returning back to the hotel from Ibadan and need to secure additional room for a business partner, although notice was short but One of the front desk ladies - Happiness, was greatly supportive, she also received my food order in transit before arrival. This is so exceptional to me and my business partner was.so delighted. This is to say Thank you and wishing you guys a Merry Christmas in advance. Thank you Marriott. Kayode A.

They've got lovely array of food too, if you go to the restaurant but limited offerings if going for in-room dinning. The parking space is large enough that you shouldn't have a parking challenge. Also, they have enough halls for reception, party or conference...about 3 or 4 meetings or more could be going on simultaneously without one disturbing the other. I guess Lagos Marriot Hotel is here to give lot of hotels in the Ikeja vicinity a run in the hospitality service department. They either sit up or get out!

It's indeed a 5 star hotel. Lovely and clean ambiance. The food however is not up to standard for a hotel of its status. The variety in insufficient and the quality also needs improvement.

Staying in this hotel was an amazing 5 star experience. Every member of staff I interacted with was super professional and helpful. The room I stayed in was very clean and extremely cosy, worth every naira paid. The food was delicious. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Absolutely Loved it The atmosphere was spectacular, the food was marvellous, the bedrooms and meeting rooms were lovely... If there was anything that detracted from the experience, it would be how slow the elevators were and the absence of stairs as an option. I should take the time to famz the food again. They had the best food I have had at a hotel; everything was great. I was here as part of a conference and usually even if I enjoy the food a colleague of mine would complain but this is the first conference were there were zero complaints about the food

A glamorous hospitality flagship in Lagos. With its exquisite aesthetics, Marriott hotel is an absolute sight to behold. I am blown away by everything and especially, the thoughtfulness put into provisions made in the rooms, they anticipated a lot of possibilities and aptly provided for most of them.

Everything was on point, the staff, room was clean and I got upgraded the second time around without any fuss. The welcome gift, the buffet style breakfast and the ambiance of the hotel made the property stand out for me. I would go as far as rating it higher than the Marriott hotel in Chicago near O'Hare. That's how impressed I was with this place. Thanks for having me at your property!

  • 5/5 Tolu L. 2 years ago on Google
This should be a 7 star rating. I walked in and for a moment I thought I was in the abroad. The setting and ambience was methodically put together. I was impressed. You could see that effort had been put into recreating an experience and it reenforces their brand ethos, a Marriott in Nigeria is still the same anywhere else in the world. Well done Marriott Lagos Team. Keep it up...you know what I mean.

The staff at this Marriott property were awesome. Not to mention, excellent hotel, very tidy and well kept. It exceeded my expectations, and I will be back whenever I visit Nigeria. Keep up the good work, team.

Had great experience staying here. Just putting that out there so we are clear! Access Because of the location of the hotel and distance from the road, driving in can be a bit of a strain. You might find yourself on a line to drive in because of the time taken to grant access to a vehicle (which is good for security reasons). If you are being driven, you can be dropped off at the hotel's entrance but if you are driving, you'd have to get to the parking area which is beneath the building and a little cumbersome. But don't worry, service men here are quite nice and helpful. Listen carefully to directions so you don't get to levels that are restricted. If you are lodging, you'd have access, don't worry. Ambience I will not speak too much about this. Just look at the photos. The place is probably nicer in reality compare to most of what you'd see. Accommodation Comfy! Cosy! And all the synonyms you can remember. Rooms are secured and have what is required to give you comfort away from home. Food This is my best part as a food adventurist. I must say the range is good however, I expected better. I believe they have the potential to up the game from the level it was at the time I visited. I'd expect better plating, more options and flavour. Service, however was great. In conclusion, generally, you won't be making a bad decision coming here. You'd love it. Trust me

A lovely place to be right from the drop off zone to the reception. The reception looks very interesting and enticing. I like the transition from the reception to the Swimming area with segments of sit-out leaving customers with choices. A nice ambience but it can be better because some areas fell short in terms of maintenance when I visited and I think that can be improved upon. A nice experience in summary.

The lounges are spacious, cool lighting and very courteous staff. Your experience starts right at the entrance, with good security & health protocols. The rooms access is good, comes with interesting, enjoyable food. Now my 1st choice lodging in Lagos

Had a great experience at the hotel. The front desk staff was very kind and always helpful! They were accommodating of our late checkout request. The breakfast buffet had a large variety and all the food was delicious. The room service was very quick, and the food tasted nice as well.

It was an amazing experience. The array of dishes at the buffet tables are out of this world. The rooms are very clean and have a homey ambience. The staff were ever so courteous and always willing to help, even under pressure. Thank you for the Easter gift I got in my room. I hope to come back as often as I can

What’s an amazing hotel, the staff are friendly , helpful. They make you feel welcome. Joy at the front desk checks on guests to ensure everyone is happy and all needs are met. The staff at the pool Restuarant give you the best service. King the chef goes out of his way to accommodates all diet requirements. The staff in the lounge are welcoming, friendly and give a great service. Well done I had a great stay. Thanks team Ikeja Marriott you’re all great.

Attended a party at one of the meeting rooms. Parking was a tad confusing. Service was excellent though, staff was courteous. I loved the ambience of the place! But i wasn't impressed by the food, and didn't really enjoy it. And the seats available in the hall were not particularly comfortable, they leaned too far back for a dining setting. Very fine conveniences too. Loved the mirror designs.

Lovely place to be. The interior finishes and colour blending is beautiful and top quality, spacious lounge. The food is great. It's just the place to be if you can afford it. You might just get carried away looking around and probably miss your appointment..πŸ˜…

Service was excellent. Their breakfast was lovely too. I think it's great to have included yam in their breakfast. That's a very good cultural inclusion. Nigerian hotels should include Nigerian food on they menus. Keep up the good work

Amazing, lovely, beautiful hotel. I don't have the exact words to describe it but it's really really amazing. The rooms are so cool, the pool area is fantastic. Breakfast cost N11,000 per person and its advisable to book from the hotels website. You want to experience this, expensive and worth it.

The place looks amazing. Clean and with a very nice design. The staff are really nice and welcoming. There are different restaurants and bars inside. There is a beautiful pool. Gym. Spa. Everything you need. It is a very lovely place to stay.

Lovely mind-blowing ambience, had lunch with colleagues at the Sunday buffet, food was good on the average, lots of variety, though the buffet area was crowded literally, but we found an outdoor spot that was nice and cool below the pool, though we were disturbed by flies. The attendants could definitely do better in terms of language and presentation, but overall it was a good experience.

Lagos Marriott Hotel is situated in Ikeja GRA, a few kilometres from the airport. It is a purpose-built hotel with underground parking lots. There are strict security protocols that one goes through in order to gain access. The reception is top-notch while it’s restaurant looks nice and is always busy. It’s conveniences are neat and well-maintained. It is recommended.

This is unarguably one of the best hotels in Lagos Mainland right now. The rooms and interior decor is superb. The food was great and the well-trained staff really friendly and helpful. And the breakfast buffet just leaves you really impressed and stuffed.

I recently had the pleasure of staying again at the Lagos Marriott Hotel. I can say for sure it has provided my best experience when back home in Lagos. It definitely is shoulder high above the other four Marriott brand properties in Lagos, all of which I have had the privilege of staying in the past. Staff are very professional & courteous. Facilities and amenities are in tip-top shape (hope this is maintained continuously). The junior suite (overlooking the pool) I was upgraded to (courtesy of my Marriott Elite status) was quite comfortable. The M-Lounge service was superb with a very good array of menu - Rita, Maureen, Gbenge and the rest of the team provided the best possible level of service. I look forward to my next stay and will highly recommend to anyone visiting Lagos. Please keep in up!!!

Such a magnificent and aesthetically pleasing place, the indoor layout and design gave me an eye-full. The entrance is well-coordinated. The event halls are sound-proof, spacious and conducive for high class corporate and ceremonial events

I love this hotel, it is simply the best. From the ambience to the rooms, the interior decor, the hospitality and service. The staffs are so nice and ready to help. Everything is automated and they have the best conference rooms and halls. I will definitely visit again.

Had had breakfast and lunch meetings here. I've also experienced the dinner buffet. The breakfast was my favorite. Can't really remember the lunch. But for some reason, I think the dinner menu didn't have sufficient variety as I expected. Whenever I'm having a buffet, it's the variety for me. Other things of note include ample car park, courteous staff and welcoming and comfortable environment.

Was my first time here and I was immensely impressed. Right from the parking which is 2 stories underground and well manned and directed to the security you have to pass through to get to the elevators. Then the lobby screams downtown Houston if you get carried away. The room I was in was well laid out, moderately furnished and simple enough. The service was 5 stars 🌟. The people I went to see called for their bags to be picked up as they were checking out and the guy arrived in under 5 minutes. He was very pleasant, professional and friendly. The only thing icky for me is the location, other than that great hotel 🏨 Definitely visiting again with friends

Really nice ambience. Lovely place. There was no water to wash my hands after using one of their restrooms though which I found really weird. Also, their bar & restaurants close by 10:30pm so you practically get chased out by the staff

Actually the five starts are not enough for this beautiful and clean Hotel, assuming we can give them ten start it worth it πŸ₯° I love the view and the structure πŸ™Œ It has enough garage where you can park without no worries. Marriott Hotel kudos πŸ‘‘

Our stay at Lagos Marriott Hotel Ikeja was simply outstanding; a fusion of luxury, excellent hospitality, and mouth-watering cuisine. The staff, including Maureen Nwankwo at the front desk, Bridget, Joy, and Helen, showed genuine care and exceeded our expectations with their attentiveness. Porters Kenneth and George ensured smooth transitions, while Peter's superb service at Azure restaurant elevated our dining experiences. This hotel masterfully delivered on all fronts, offering an unmatched stay in Lagos that truly felt like a home away from home. We can't wait to return!

It's my first time here and I had one of the most pleasant experience. I got a warm welcome from the front desk members of staff, especially Maureen who wore a smile all through and she made my check in fast and easy. I would definitely visit again and recommend without hesitation.

Hey Marriott! It was a beautiful space, the lobby is amazing, and I felt really warm. I liked the design alot, well lighted. The concierge, the security guys at the entrance and in the garage, the house keepers were all really cool guys, they did their job with a smile and were happy to answer my questions. However, the receptionist were not as nice. They hardly smiled, though they did their job. I have worked as a customer rep guy before and I understand the importance of a smile. Another thing I forgot to ask was why children were not allowed in certain lounge. I had to leave my child with a friend when I went to have dinner just before we left and I wasn't happy with that. Anyways,I will definitely come back again, and I know the service will be better. See you soon!

Although my first day was horrid by waiting for over 3 hours to get a room. To the front desk staff being non chalant about our situation. However, I would like to thank Mrs Caroline for taking her time in finding a solution on fixing the lack rooms and also trying to Make the stay a pleasant one. That y it is bummed to a 3 stars rating

Merriot Hotel was amazing. My friend and I had lunch at Wakame. The staff were super professional. One particular waiter(Mr saviour) was really nice. He recommended the best dish on the menu. Honestly, it was a nice experience

Marrriiot is the exact definition of hotels anywhere in the world. The spacious car park (Undergrouund) is amazingly beautiful with well designed guides. I had breakfast on my visit, and the menu was quite good as well. It's either Marriot or no one for my guests
