Excellent authentic Bengali food. Very healthy tasty clean and sumptuous food at a reasonable price. Behaviour of the staff and the owner as well is very sincere and cordial, you will feel like you have come to their house and not their restaurant. Tje restaurant is new and under development so it may look like a bit incomplete from outside but once you sit inside you will definitely like the ambience. I am sure infrastructure will improve work the growth of business.

Want to try a delicious bengali cuisine? Well for me, this is a perfect place to be. Fantastic food! It was very fresh and flavorful. They serve various side dishes with rice. We had 1. Alu posto 2. Sukhti 3. Pumpkin dhokla 4. Gobhi bhaja 5. Alu bhaja. 6. Potol bhaja 7. Begun pakoda 8. Saag 9. Dal 10. Chida namkeen bhaja, chutni, rosogolla and papad. And every day menu is different as they provide seasonal based veg items which they farm themselves. They also give extra rice themselves. And all this at just Rs 140/- per person. In non veg, there is chicken, fish, prawn. We ordered chicken for Rs 150/- (has 3 big piece). Apart from bengali thali, their menu also contains luchi, roti, paratha, chowmene. Quantity and Quality wise, this restaurant is worthy to have a visit. Ambience is soothing too. Spacious restaurant.

This place is located on the way to santiniketan and is a new place for homely Bengali cuisine.Most people generally drop in barishaler rannaghor or banlakshmi.I had tasted food there also but when it comes to quality and quantity this place is a far better choice.meal cost is Rs 140 for veg and they serve good number of bengali dishes in the thali.non veg cost is extra depending upon chicken mutton or fish.All the dishes were very good tasty and they serve so well.

Accidentally discovered this place during puja while returning from Kalikapur Rajbari to Bolpur. Food quality was top notch & the service was excellent as well. The owner was very cordial and personally took care of our requirements. Do try their fish preparations & sabjis as well. Worth a visit.

This is our third visit. The ambience is nothing to be wowed of, BUT the hospitality is. Very homely. We ordered 4 veg thalis + Malai Chingri + 2x Egg Curry. The taste of all the dishes ordered are 5 STAR. The reason for 3stars for food is one of the chingri fish was unclean (had dirt inside). Hence 2 stars deducted for failure to clean raw ingredients (esp prawns), QA the food cooked and eventually served to customer. Note: the restau owner was practical enough to acknowledge the situation and adjusted the final bill with a discount.

Food quality is good. The quantity is great. The owner's behavior was very welcoming. They had plenty of options. & they kept on asking if we need anything. I would recommend this place if you are on a tight budget & want authentic bengali cuisine.

A wonderful experience! In our quest to find a nice meal, we chanced upon this cozy homestyle Bengali restaurant. The food was flavourful and the quality of ingredients was very impressive. The service was warm and receptive, all our needs were met perfectly and the owner ensured that we had a very memorable experience. I would highly recommend the Veg. Thali along with the Malpua.
