宿泊で利用しましたが、ただ素晴らしいの一言。
白濁の温泉が好きな方には一度足を運んで頂きたい名湯です。
【温泉について】
沼尻元湯源泉から最も近い温泉宿で、pH2.1の強酸性の硫黄泉。
これだけ聞くと近隣の安達太良山周辺の高湯や岳と変わらないのですが、湯の華の量が段違い。
浴場の底に湯の華が沈殿しているのは、数々の温泉に足を運んでいますが初めて。
特に浴場の四隅を中心にこんもり沈殿しています。お好きな方は感動されると思います。
湯の華が多いが故に湯色も牛乳のような濃い乳白色です。
1階の内湯、2階の大浴場(内湯)と露天風呂の計3種がそれぞれ微妙に湯の色が異なり面白いです。
硫黄臭はするものの、強烈な硫黄臭ではないのがこれまた不思議。
【お部屋について】
料金の割には広く、2人利用でしたが4-5人は利用できるお部屋でした。
部屋内に浴槽、トイレ、独立洗面台もあり設備はバッチリ。
季節柄仕方ないですが、カメムシが少なからずいます。
また、部屋内のストーブの効き？使用方法？がいまいち分かりにくかったです。
ただ、カメムシについては部屋に案内もありますし、どちらの内容もスタッフの方々が逐一対応して下さるのでご安心を。
【最後に】
貴重品を預けるロッカーがない等の理由で低評価をする方々は根本的に温泉に向いてないかと存じます。
東北に限らず温泉宿(湯治宿)は基本的にロッカーはないと思って臨み、
車で来てるならば小銭や必要最低限の持ち物以外は車内に置いて行ってください。第一、フロントに預ける等の手段もあります。
こんな理由で評価を下げられる旅館側が不憫です。
こちらの旅館をはじめ、沼尻・中ノ沢温泉郷内で働いている方々はご高齢の方が多く、先々存続できるのか不安です。
実際に温泉郷内でも休業している旅館が何軒かありました。
こんなにも素晴らしい泉質がありながら、維持できないのは大変心苦しいです。
田村屋旅館さんはSNSでも積極的に発信されており、
日帰り入浴も通常800円のところ、フォロワー割引で500円まで値引いて下さるのでお得です。
