An impeccable celebration of my mum’s birthday at Jade Restaurant at Claridges Hotel. Weather supported our lunch celebration. Started with Prawns in butter garlic, Poached Fish with peanuts and coriander, Chilly chicken, Chicken and chives dimsums, and Five spice honey chilli lotus stem. The table assist was a very sweet lady, who was well informed and recommended as per our requirement. We also ordered Bloody Marys and few other beverages. Prawns were jumbo size and crispy outside, inner tender. Dimsums were green layered and tasted well. Lotus stem were again a hit. Fish was nice and bland just as needed. Washed it all down over chatter, laughter and conversations. Main course on almost full tummies was prawn fried rice, Pork bao, Pan fried chicken noodles, and chilly garlic noodles. Again 5/5 for all except pan fried noodles which was a sticky and will give 4/5. Even after a consensus on “no desserts”, assorted ice creams were ordered. I am not an icecream person but the pleasure on rest was pretty visible. In all, seating, hospitality, timing, quality, flavor and weather made it a perfect lunch for the family.

One of the best restaurant in Claridges. A real good restaurant for thai and Chinese. Pleasant ambience. Comfortable seats with no hustle to keep varieties of delicacies on the table. We cant do anything about the people who eat "momos" at the road side stalls and "dimsums" in a 5 star hotel. There is a lot in the menu apart from a typical Delhite choice of food. Try their roasted lamb.

Excellent food and service. It is a small place with limited staff and capacity but they give you a personalized experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Most recommended for Chinese or Thai food.

The old-world charm is the only thing going for these restaurants and this old hotel. I brought my family here, it was nostalgic for me because my dad brought us here when I was a kid. How much the world has changed, what used to be top shelf in the 80s and 90s is now an outdated place. We went to Jade and it is a small restaurant with only a few tables, service was OK, and the food was OK, just not worth the effort to come to this hotel and its restaurants, far better venues are available out there. We had far better experience at Seven Seas and Le Meridian for less money.

Always love their Chinese. Visited after a long time due to pandemic. Small restaurant but really tasty Chinese food.

Horrible food. All the dishes were drowned in sauces and spices so one could not taste the food. The lobster and lamb I ordered could have been asparagus because I could not taste them.

have tried booking table on many occasions but must say i have not seen a more pathetic reception response than this hotel. They pick up then cut else forward the call and then disconnect.not expected from a five star like this.
