This is an icon in Delhi. And rightly so. One rarely has a bad experience at The China Kitchen. Always a pleasure dining here. The staff and chef are the soul of this place and they ensure an experience to remember. Always. Do try their signature: Peking Duck

I am Japanese, so I do not know if the dishes at this restaurant are authentic Chinese cuisine, but my Hong Kong friend who was present seemed to like it. I tried Peking Duck for the first time ever (at this restaurant in India!). It was delicious.

Amazing food as always but the worst service ever possible. The staff seems all undertrained.. looks like Hyatt is doing some major cost cutting by hiring freshers only, that too without any training. They have no idea about when to clear plates and how to serve. Just to get water we had to ask 3 different waiters thrice and finally we wer able to get some water. While the food is very nice, be ready for the most pathetic service experience at China Kitchen. Given the kind of service we got, the restaurant should reduce the prices by at least 75%!

As you enter this iconic chinese restaurant, you are welcomed by its warm ambiance. An open clean kitchen, enhanced our appetite. We, a group of six family and friends, were escorted with a welcoming smile to a semi private dining area.... perfect for our group. If there is one word which can describe our overall experience, it is a Persian word 'Behtareen' ... meaning nothing better than this. They have a fabulous range of drinks. We had old fashioned cocktail, and whiskey sour....both perfect. My wife and a friend had Lavender Lemonade, which I believe was extremely refreshing. Dumplings (garlicky prawn, chestnut, and spicy green) were cooked as they should be, truly delicious. So were wok fried braised tofu ; and the hot pot tofu with veg, served sizzling hot, with sichuan noodles and fried rice. The service was immaculate... with special appreciation and thanks to Shweta Parth, for her perfect service with smile. Visited on 17th April... I regret belated review.

I do not recommend. Really tasty food in good atmosphere, but unfortunately everything else was not so good. First, it’s really pricey. I get that it’s hotel food, but still think this is overpriced. Second, service was…weird.. For instance, they served our individual bowls but in doing so, they had to reach other guests at the table. Really awkward. Third, we also ordered water that came in a cup that was dirty on the outside. It left someone’s pants stained (see photo). Fourth, there’s way too many things on the table. Just made the experience feel crowded. Not what we wanted or expected for the price.

I last ate here maybe 3-4 years ago and the food was as average. I came back again, against my wishes, for a family dinner. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of Chinese food they had to offer. There was finally taste, flavour and texture in the food I was eat. The ingredients were fresh, the sauces weren’t stale and the service was superb. I think the decor and atmosphere are perfect for dinner. However I would add that in certain spots in the restaurant the lighting might be too dark. But overall the experience the food and the general hospitality was extremely commendable. I feel a return is necessary to taste the other delicious dishes China Kitchen has to offer. Good spot even better food.

The ambience was great, the restaurant is well planned and well maintained. On busy nights, the service is slightly slow. The steamed sea bass was cooked well, but that was the only thing that was right with the dish. Drenched in oil, overpowered by the abundance of red chillies, and overall bland. The tofu was the softest I'd ever eaten, but again, I feel they use the red chillies to fill up the plate. Rest, the food was good.

Horrible experience. Horrible service. Have gone here multiple times and can certainly say that Hyatt has definitely changed their staff. Very unpleasant visit. Would give 0. Rude and unprofessional staff. Will not continue my Club at Hyatt membership.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The China Kitchen at Hyatt Regency Delhi, and I must say, it was an excellent experience. The restaurant serves authentic Chinese cuisine in a stylish and modern setting, with a menu that features a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes. From the appetizers to the main course, everything we ordered was delicious and expertly prepared. The dim sum platter was a particular highlight, with each dumpling bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The Peking duck was also a standout dish, with crispy skin and tender meat that melted in the mouth. The service at The China Kitchen was also top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. They also had excellent knowledge of the menu and were able to offer helpful recommendations. Overall, I highly recommend The China Kitchen to anyone looking for a great dining experience in New Delhi. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch, making it a must-visit for anyone who loves Chinese cuisine.

This experience far exceeded our expectations. We arrived as visitors and left as friends. Boutique and luxury with the best customer service we have experienced in all of Italy. Highly recommend! Paolo took care of making sure we knew where to shop (who to trust), dine and explore. We are looking forward to returning in the spring.

If you’re up for pampering yourself with the best Chinese delicacies, there’s no place better than The China Kitchen. This fine-dining restaurant is known for its traditional Chinese fare with a pinch of style. Their Peking Duck, Beggar’s Chicken & Dan-Dan noodles are a few of the best picks here.

If you are tired of having Indianised chinese food , check out The china kitchen .China kitchen has one of the best chinese food in town. Authentic Chinese .I loved the pork ribs , it has fried sprinkled garlic which makes the ribs so amazing. The lamb in the main course was also delicious . We had northern style soy chilli fried rice along with the lamb and both tasted very good. The star of the show was the raspberry dessert ( cant recall the exact name ) with coconut ice cream. I cant get enough of it. Its right there displayed in the glass cake counter. Its a very busy restuarant , We didnt get a table for dinner so came back for lunch . Call for a table well on time.Bit heavy on the pockets . China Kitchen

Authentic Chinese cuisine. I enjoyed the pork ribs, which had fried dusted garlic that made the ribs very delicious. The main meal lamb was equally amazing. Both the meat and the northern style soy chilli fried rice were wonderful. The raspberry dessert (can't recall the exact name) with coconut ice cream grabbed the show. I can't seem to get enough of it. It's right there in the glass cake counter. It's a popular restaurant, and we didn't get a table for supper, so we came back for lunch. Request a table as soon as possible. A little hefty on the pockets. China Restaurant
