This is one of the most famous pilgrim centres in the whole of Kerala State. This is devoted to St.Antony of Padua. There had been a lot of miracles happening to many people out there who had offered their personal prayers and offerings to the saint. There are Novenas happening every Tuesdays until 6.30 pm which also consists of the English Novena. There is a huge crowd on Tuesdays. Even though there is a huge hustle bustle on the highway just in front of the shrine, the rituals and prayers happening inside are not affected due to it. Along with the Novena, one gets an opportunity to garland the saint's statue too. There are a lot of shops there that sell various holy apparels related to the saint. After the evening Novena there were buns offered to the people to eat. There is 'Kanji' (rice porridge) given to the people after the afternoon Novena. There is an ample amount of parking space opposite to the shrine on the other side of the road. One has to cross the road after having parked one's car. There are traffic policemen helping out people to cross the road by blocking the traffic for a little while. Overall this shrine is a must visit for people and pilgrims having the most urgent yet unsatisfied needs.

The Shrine of St. Antony situated in Kaloor, Kerala is one of the biggest pilgrim centres of St. Antony in the world; perhaps second only to Padua in terms of popularity. This Shrine belongs to the Archdiocese of Verapoly and is under the pastoral and administrative care of the Metropolitan Archbishop of Verapoly. The mother church of this Shrine is St. Francis Xavier’s Parish Church, of Kathrikkadavu, Kaloor. Just like the name Padua got associated with the Saint Anthony who lived there and motivated the people there to turn to God, Kaloor too became synonymous with St. Antony and his wonderworks.

13-6-22 Monday. St Antony's Feast day. I and my friend participated in choir (Violns) full day. We refused their poor payment and donated to church. Management is not giving proper remuneration for Musicians.

The crowd here amazed me. A very nice church with enough space to accommodate the crowds. People light candlesticks for praying and granting wishes. Very good Ambience.

I am from Mysore, and I was in Kochi for an important exam. a day before I visited the Shrine and offered my prayers and sought divine help. Exam was tough and I was totally relying on Divine Intervention. Yesterday my exam results are out and I cleared my exam. This is a wonderful experience and I thank St. Antony for praying for me. We came here every Tuesday evening. We can sit here with relaxed and calm for long time. They have car parking facilities Opposite to the church for cars and bikes. Traffic lights are installed here due to traffic blocks, but no one aware or looking it. If the drivers or the people those who passing the zebra crossing is not looking the traffic lights.

Visited on 19/09/2023 Tuesdays are the most important day for the church. Early morning 6:15 onwards mass & novena are been offered till last mass & novena at 7pm (English) Those who wish to have Nercha Kanji (rice gruel) 10:45 mass & novena will be the better timing, but during sunny days this timing can be hectic due to large number people comes at this hour & humidity. There will queue for the nercha Kanji during this time. Those wish to offer (buns or rice) can be placed in front of the st antony's statue inside the church. Parking is available right opposite to church which is quite a big parking lot and another parking available just after the church in front of the adoration chapels entrance, which can accommodate 8 - 10 cars Toilet facilities are available at this area.
