Service was slow. The server could not remember anything and had to ask me multiple times then completely forgot my friend’s drink. Found a bug in my food and all she offered me was a new ranch. Was totally rude and brushed me off. I would not suggest this bar to anyone. Edit: The manager never came over to speak about the bug in my food, as I mentioned I was dismissed. So their response to say it is inaccurate is absurd. Also goes to show how the staff will treat customers as a whole. Instead of attempting to fix the issue when I was there or even now the establishment chooses to say I am lying. Very telling and very disappointing. Also note all my reviews for restaurants are POSITIVE bc I like to celebrate servers who make my experience enjoyable. I hate that I had to use this platform to speak so negatively about a restaurant.

I was recently brought here by some friends, what great bar. The drinks are solid, great beer selection, and their wings are so good. I have been ordering the wings the last couple of times I've been here, they are cooked to perfection and are crispy. Service have been good, the last few times it was a bit slow late at night but it wasn't too bad. The kitchen is open pretty late so I really liked that since I'm like my midnight snacks. It's just a really good place to chill and have a drink. Plus, if you have the touch tone app you can play some music while you're here.

Always a solid stop. Good beer list, decent bar food. Nothing spectacular food wise but serviceable enough. Cool spot for sure.

My boyfriend and I went here for the first time today. Overall it was a very nice experience. We didn't order any cocktails, but the food was delicious. Also the portions were really big. The atmosphere was very friendly and chill. I could see myself coming back here several times.

Was there Friday night. The female dark hair bartender was awesome and super sweet. A couple of the female customers though were absolutely horrible so that is why atmosphere got a 4. The 2 females were rude to everyone that wasn't in there group and to the bartenders. The only other issue is when the place is packed 2 latrines are not enough. I would suggest installing another toilet and stalls.

I accidentally knocked my beer off the table because we overloaded it with delicious food, and the ladies behind the bar were so sweet, and so kind. We'll definitely be back.

My husband, Myself and our 2 friends came into your establishment to enjoy a couple of cocktails after our dinner at Salt… (we all come from the restaurant industry from bartending to GM) We waited a while before anyone came to our table, then we ordered 4 green tea shots and 3 beers…. Our shots did not taste anything like green tea shots we’ve ever had, so we told the bartender and she responded “next time you need to ask how we make our drinks or tell us how you want it made” with an attitude…. She made another round the correct way with Jameson, peach tree, sour, and a splash of sprite….. she brought them to our table and they tasted great and we attempted to engage in conversation with her and she just walked away rudely. I don’t normally make reviews but I’ve also never been treated so disrespectfully….. We were just looking to continue our date night at your establishment (also our first time there) but unfortunately it was a bad first and last experience.

I've been in Indy for 3 years, and I'll kick myself for eternity on waiting so long to come to this bar. The patrons and servers were all amazing, I've had better conversations in a day than I have in weeks at other places. The food was amazing, and the fact they do their own batter just drives to quality even higher. You will be hard pressed to have a better place for food or drinks in the price range. If you're looking for both of those and a great place to converse and mingle, it doesn't exist. Mass ave pub is truly a cut above the rest.

This place is a dive bar on Mass Ave. The food is good at a very good price for the area. It definitely gets loud if there are many people. It is kinda unexpected to have a dive bar in the area so depending on what you are looking for this place is either perfect or the opposite of what you want.

What you see is what you get. Their food was good. We had nachos and stromboli. I kept picking beers that were tapped or tapping out but that is my luck sometimes. Bartender was all business and attentive. Hole in the wall vibe.

My wife and I love coming into Mass Ave Pub, and having Amy as our bartender! She’s so sweet and takes great care of her customers, she knows everyone’s names and drinks and has made us feel like family! Tracy the owner is wonderful as well! So welcoming, and runs the bar very well when a helping hand is needed by employees she is there! We came in for lunch one Thursday, and never have been to Mass Ave Pub, and ever since then we became regulars because of the hospitality, and environment! The food is always fresh, and we’ve decided to try something new every time we come in, and have not been disappointed! Thanks so much for a place to laugh, relax and enjoy drinks, and food! Food took well over 20 minutes (was a single plate of tarot tots) plus the overall vibe was just off. Felt unwelcome and will never return.

The potato skins were pretty good, service was great.

Great dive bar! Great location! In an area of town where you could easily spend $10+ on a single beer! MAP keeps it authentic and economical! This will be my new favorite spot!

The wings were the word around town but they weren't worth the hype or the wait. They don't take apple pay and the wings are battered. They do give a nice size portion on the regular sized order though.

Perfect lil chill spot.. and the bartenders are easy on the eyes too. Monday nights they have karaoke and the kj is amazing, great sound, plenty of songs to choose from in all genres... If you haven't been here.. stop in for a drink and meet some awesome people..

One of my favorites spots downtown, solid little dive. A little small so can be tough to get in on Weekends. Solid pours, decent food, good service. A Mass Ave must for sure.
