I stopped in here before a show at the Hoosier Dome, and I was not disappointed!! This metal-themed restaurant is perfect for a quick drink or dinner. I could spend hours just looking at the walls here. Everything was super clean, and our waiter was so patient and very nice. Even though it’s more than I would usually pay for a burger, it was worth it. Piled high with toppings and cooked to order, it’s the best burger I’ve had in Fountain Square. The ketchup that comes with the fries was also a highlight! I think there’s something for everyone on the menu, which has clever names for every tantalizing entry.

I’ve heard about all the hype over Kuma’s Corner and I decided to see if the hype was real. I came a couple days ago for dinner and sat outside on the patio. We had a friendly waitress. I order their famous Kuma burger with fresh cut fries and it was just out of this world. The portions are huge! And being I love burgers, I couldn’t even finish this one. That’s how big they are. Their fries were tasty too. Overall, this was a great experience!

My wife and I agreed that we had some of the best hamburgers we've ever eaten here. The toppings were great, the pretzel bun held up nicely to the large 10 oz patty, and they definitely know how to cook the beef patty to a perfect medium rare. Bonuses for a great beer selection and good cocktails.

So yes the Mac and cheese is phenomenal, the decor was pleasant to the eyes, great music, great service as well. Now the not so great, the burger was properly cooked at the temp I asked, the burger itself was blend, did not stand out, I have had better burgers and cheaper than this for example twin peaks or jaggers for better price. Fries were very crispy but nothing special.

Pretty dope metal bar with good service. The food was not as good as I hoped it would be. We ordere the Iron Maiden and slayer but definitely I would not get the slayer again. The portion size is good though.

Wanted to try the November burger special, the Sleep. It was good, bottom of the pretzel bun was really hard that was the only “problem”. Fried avocados were delicious.

Kuma's is a wonderful location! The food is great with a wide menu selection. The food is cooked to your request, and food allergies (Shell Fish) are noted on the menu! The atmosphere was focused on Rock and Metal Music along with the ability to enjoy the food and conversations. Service and hosting is satisfactory and welcoming to the customers. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a great lunch spot or dating location opportunity. Approved by the Modern Pirate Lord

Nice burger spot in a trendy part of town. The place promotes a rock concert venue vibe but not sure if they have live music. Most burgers are around $18. The flavor is pretty good, just not great. Side salad is uninspired pile of romaine and shaved carrots.

This was a hidden gem. First time and wow this place was different than anything I had been to before. A metal music vibe but no overpower for non-slayer enthusiasts to not enjoy. The food was big, hot, and delicious. The staff were very helpful and polite. I recommend this place to anyone passing through or in Indianapolis. I will be back!!

To be honest, Inside the music is a little loud so if you are with a group of friends and want to chat, be seated outside. Atmosphere was really neat. I love the metal/rock theme with the restaurant. Food was a nice size serving and delicious. I can usually eat mine and what's left of my wife's food, but not here. If you are really hungry, get the slayer..omg a bed of fries, topped with chili. cheese. jalapenos, cherry peppers, a hamburger so good and so much food. The only reason I gave 4 stars was the price.2 people 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 4 drinks $92. So just be ready when you go. I would go back.

It is a nice size burger, but it's a lot of bread with the pretzel bun and being priced over 20 is kinda absurd. The slayer is an open face burger over fries, weighed like 5 lbs but it needs more cheese.

It's all about the food! These are probably the best burgers I've eaten in a long time and that mac-n-cheese SLAPS! Try this place out and if you're not a fan of heavy metal music, you're welcome to sit outside. 😉

Absolutely one of my favorite burger places in fountain square! If your not full from one of these things, well I guess you’ll need two then but they are plenty big and delicious! Service is always great they keep your drinks full while you wait for the grub! Highly recommend! Will be back again before to long! Thanks for the wonderful burgers!

I got the chicken sandwich and it was huge, it came with a side of fries or salad; I picked the salad, which was really good. I couldn’t finish all of my sandwich. Food was good. Service was good as well. I just felt like the price was bit much.

Do you want a burger? Or do you want A BURGER? Slide into one of the best kept secrets in Fountain Square that really isn't much of a secret anymore. Treat yourself to some of the biggest, baddest burgers while you enjoy the sounds of growling vocalists and metal guitars playing across the house speakers, and enjoy an eclectic mix of draft pours as well as an extensive list of craft canned beers to add to one of the best burger joints you'll ever visit.

I had no idea Kuma's had a location here. You were a blessing from the metal gods due to all other establishments trembling in the anything but good reviews that they had. You blessed my heart belly and liver. S/O to Brooklyn for running a good bar and the kitchen crew for throwing tf down on the food.

Super fun spot. Really good gourmet burgers, nice beer selection. Burgers are all themed after bands. The Goatsnake burger was incredible. Staff is really welcoming and fun to interact with. Great place to relax and have fun. Nick is awesome.

Amazing burgers and atmosphere! If you love burgers and love metal music this is the place for you. I will say if you don't like metal music you should still come for the burgers. They serve huge portions. Homemade ketchup and other items make you feel the effort and love they put into their food. The burgers served on a tasty pretzel bun, are based on metal bands. With a wide range to choose from they also do a burger of the month. You definitely won't run out of options. I also recommend their salads, especially the ceaser. They make their croutons in-house out of their pretzel buns. All their food is really good. They also have an extensive beer selection. With tasty cocktails too. You definitely can't go wrong picking this place for lunch or dinner. The only problem will be figuring out when you'll be back.

Kuma's is my all time favorite burger place! I have never been disappointed by the food, and the service is always top notch. When they're busy you can expect a pretty long wait, especially in winter when they can't open the patio. My only slight criticism is that the music is just a bit too loud. It's a metal place so I expect it to be loud, but it's really hard to have a conversation with the person sitting right next to you let alone the server.

WOW!!!! If you're a heavy metal music lover and want an outstanding burger this place is for you. The music isn't overwhelming if you're not into it as well. The servers are great at pulling off the whole experience as well. Soooo on to the burgers .... Amazing!!!! The pure portion size is gigantic compared to other sit-down burger places in town. The toppings are equally as plentiful. I had sat next to the open kitchen area and saw their mac and cheese and although I thought it was too much with the burger I just HAD to try it. Very creamy and cheesy and the pasta wasn't overcooked. YUM!!!! I highly recommend it. You can always take some home as I had to with just 'small' portion lol. Very nice spot with street parking and their own lot across the street. The restaurant is an open area with doors that are open like windows and patio seating outside as well. Highly recommend for something different to try. It's not your ordinary burger place. Side Note:. Notice you can have these as a chicken, black bean, beyond or regular hamburger

Been there on a Saturday night. The waitress was nice and attentive. I got the Kuma's Burger with a fried egg on top. The burger was decent, but the bun was a bit too heavy for my taste. Would be better if it was fluffier. The fries could have been more crispy, they just stocked together. Beer selection was decent and reasonably priced. This restaurant is metal themed. There are plenty of posters and pictures of Metal Bands and the music which is playing is, as well, metal. So you must be okay with some hard riffs during your meal.

Man, what a place. The burgers were amazing, the service was OUTSTANDING. As an old school metal head, the drinks and menu were thematically on point and amusing. Note: I do not recommend getting an app and then a burger for each person unless you came hungry or plan for significant leftovers. A Slayer, 2 burgers, and a thing of cheese curds for 3 bug hungry dudes left us sad we couldn't eat most of a slayer and about half a burger. And we WERE sad, because the food was great. Like..really great. I will be back. Also: Malort flag. The decor in the hallway and bathrooms was a treat too. Parking lot is across the street. So that was a little odd, just keep an eye out and you're gold.

The food was great. Came in big portions i couldn't finish it all. The ace of spade comes with a watermelon wedge i should of got a second one. They have their own parking lot across the street.

I don't even like heavy metal and this place is awesome. It has a totally metal vibe to the place. Heavy metal music, piercings, concert shirts, beer, and giant burgers. We had the Plague Bringer burger and the Heartwork (V) and both were awesome. The Heartwork is some kind of black bean patty, but it was surprisingly good and guilt-free since only a bunch of vegetables had to die for us to enjoy it. The Plague Bringer burger was huge, but so flavorful that we demolished it and left nothing but that feeling of gut destruction. Service was excellent. The morale here is really high and the workers seem to enjoy what they do, and it shows in the final product.

The burgers are excellent, portions are huge. Craft beer selection is astounding. It is a must stop place for hungry fans of hard rock and heavy metal. The only thing louder than the music is the art on the walls.

If you love metal music then you will love this place! They have a great beer selection & the burgers are outstanding! I'm vegetarian & loved the vegan patty option. My husband is straight carnivore & for a reg meat burger. He went w/ the Metallica & I got the Iron Maiden. Both were super delicious!! And the music is perfect!
