World of Beer has a slightly misleading appearance from its Mass Ave entrance. Looks even a bit uninviting. However it has quite a bit of charm once you get settled. The food was great!! Our server, Jan, was outstanding. Terrific atmosphere. I do want to mention that the first table they took us to was in a very skinny hallway downstairs overlooking the restrooms. We said, “No”, and the hostess totally understood and was very gracious about finding us a better location. We ended up sitting outdoors and everything was yummy!! Start off with the soft pretzel- you won’t be disappointed. My chipotle chicken sandwich was YUMMY and my husband enjoyed the Cali bowl. We will be back!

The Korean Spice Boneless Wings were awesome and I can't say enough about my bartender/server. She was awesome and welcomed me back. I will be back, everything was clean and neat and close to work.

Surprisingly tasty food including Buffalo wings and the Cali bowl! Could have had more shrimp but still was great. I also enjoyed their non alcoholic beer. Always seems to be busy, but still had some tables for people to eat at. Many people come here to get beers to go. Please note that the food closes at 10 PM and if you sit outside you have to get your own food/drinks from inside.

The food and drink is fine but the staff were rude to our group. I quite literally never leave bad reviews on a place, understanding that it is a tough time for the restaurant business. We walked in, asked for a table (for a larger group, but I actually said “if you don’t have the space it’s okay!”) and the host just looked at us and said, i’ll see. We ended up with a table. Part of our group left early to put in our names at the eagle and the staff accused them of skipping out on the bill, when the other half of our party was at the table, waiting to pay the check. I used to like this place, but I will not be returning based on the service.

The soft opening was phenomenal! They have so many beers on tap, and surprisedly beers that usually are never on tap, like Two Hearted? Awesomeness. Their menu has such a broad stretch of flavors, from healthy to just get your grub on fried foods, all delicately plated to feast your eyes upon. I was stuffed! The staff is extremely friendly and tend to remind me of the Cheers motto, where everybody knows your name! I believe this World of Beer bar and kitchen will be a Mass Ave favorite. :) I Highly recommend!

Pretty great first time experience. We came during lunch on a Sunday, so not absolutely cramped, otherwise had lots of room to walk around even if it was full. Our server was kind and entertaining, came by at least every 15min. Beer selection is above average (not quite Rathskeller degree of extensive selection, but definitely better than all the dive bars in downtown). Didn't try any food myself, but my buddy got some garlic-and-something wings that would easily beat out BWW's. Overall 8.5/10 experience, would recommend at least once!

There is no zero rating. Otherwise, for service, they deserve that. People come here to have a good time and enjoy beer not for raicist comments and not been explained what you have in the menu. If you ask for the manager , the server tiffani says she is the manager. Hahahaa Feel free to come to experience a worst service.

A great place in a solid location Right off Mass Ave in downtown Indy. Not a real big spot, so not great for larger parties. They do have outdoor seating, but the area is rather small. The beer selection is excellent, offering a good variety of tap options. Good spot with a bit more of a laid back atmosphere. Haven’t eaten but food options look decent.

The servers were very flat and unconfrontational. I ordered a chipotle chicken sandwhich.. it had no chipotle sauce and was over cooked the worst part is they gave me literally 8 fries with my sandwhich until I requested more. One my worst food experiences ever.

Service was terribly slow especially the time of day. It took close to an hour and a half for food to come out. We had six in our party, which shouldn't be considered a large party. They still added on 20% gratuity. This wasn't disclosed anywhere. There's no paper menus and the website didn't indicate it. Do I have a problem tipping? Nope. But it's my choice what to tip, especially depending on the service level. The only response from World of Beer was to come back and try again. No thanks. There are other much better establishments along Mass Ave and near the Circle. My suggestions: bring back paper menus and be clear with your customers about pricing. Fix your service.

We stopped by here for a quick drink before heading out. We managed to grab some seats at the bar as it was quite packed. This was like any other World of Beer I've been to in the past. There was nothing exceptional about visiting here. One thing I did like is the quick service and friendliness. I ended up going to the bathroom here which is a bit of a walk away but was well-maintained.

Large selection of beer on draft and more in bottles. Nice open seating bar area. Not too crowded on a Saturday afternoon; perfect for day drinking.

Took over an hour to receive the food after ordering...the major disappointment was the food coming out incorrectly. The burger was missing ingredients and the patty was overcooked. While the missing ingredients were addressed, the service was subpar, but a soured experience overall. I brought my family here and left feeling embarrassed that I recommended this place.

Staci and her staff run a great establishment in World of Beer. The service staff are knowledgeable on the diverse draft list, the food is superb, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Extra bonus points for carrying one of my favorite Indiana craft breweries, Grand Junction Brewing Co. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed this place, but it feels like a chain. The staff doesn't seem to communicate effectively, which led to some awkwardness and a 5-10 minute delay in service. The beer was reasonably priced, and the food was pretty quick. I thought my chicken taco was better than the beef, though both were great. My boyfriend's burger was great. It got loud, and we left.

4 Star Review: Came back and it has improved greatly. Service was much better, but draft beer selection is still lacking for a place with its namesake. (Prior 3 Star Review) Food was pretty good, though the hummus appetizer was pretty small. For being called World of Beer, I was pretty disappointed by the draft selection (and from that small list they were out of 4 of them). Probably a 4-5 star place for pub food, but the service was slow: on a Sunday night it took us 20 minutes to get water, and another 5 minutes to get the beers we ordered when we sat down. Only go if you are not in a hurry.

4-25-2022 I got the Fried Shrimp with fries. They made their own sauce for the shrimp & it was soooo good. End price was around $16 for one person. The atmosphere was very sporty & had very cool aesthetic beer kegs around!
