๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Nasi Kandar Pelita has served many delicious curry dishes throughout the years, and thankfully their food quality is still well maintained. I personally like their Kari Perut Kambing a lot. Cheese prata is not bad and taste a little sweet (different from the usual cheese prata Iโ€™ve eaten in SG and JB). Teh tarik is good! Kambing soup is nice too.

Good place to eat. Dropped by to have parotta and tea. Good and fast service by waiters. Prompt food preparation. Clean eatery. Its burning hot outside but inside temperature is acceptable. Definitely will visit again on next errands around this area.

A typical mamak restaurant and just same as other branches... The mutton curry improves and good.. Now they have lamb shank curry that you must try... Parking is quite difficult in peak hours.. Don't park as you like if don't want the authorities to give you a summons ticket.

The nasi kandar is not nice compared with the one at Ampang branch. The waiter was not so efficient. I ordered roti canai but he didn't bother to order to the kitchen so I needed to make a new order to get my roti canai. I have to eat something else as the nasi kandar tastes so salty and too spicy. I will not repeat. The hand wash sink was filthy dirty and the environment was so stinky. Bye bye this place.๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ

Too many customers .the service for certain food items are slow to deliver because of too many customers that orders different menus. In additions to that a few of the stall assistants are not quite helpful/ attentive to our orders.

Food was so so. Waited 45 mins for maggi goreng, but understandably that was due overwhelming crowd on Monday night. Not sure why some commented about unfriendly waiters as i find them worked non stop and quite helpful. A good place to hang out in Ipoh if you don't mind the noise. Overall satisfied with this place.

Arrived very late in Ipoh and asked my wife to stop by here since I was hungry. Ordered the roti canai and was not disappointed, The roti canai was perfectly cooked, with a flaky exterior and a soft and chewy interior. The dhal curry was rich and flavorful, with a hint of sweetness. The two dishes together were a perfect combination. I would definitely order this dish again, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves roti canai and dhal curry.

Crowded at times. Parking can be difficult during peak hours. Don't understand why customers can't comply with SOPs. Can easily collect Rm10k worth of compounds at any time.

Awesome and tasty food. Very authentic Malay and Indian cuisine combined together. The curry taste simply awesome. However always ask for the price especially when opting for the nasi kandar cause a piece of squid can cost up to RM30.

Food is fine but not up to my personal likings. But the sweet lassi is so good! Always come here for my lunch meeting after football sessions.

Decent food, poor service. Ordered 3 rotis. They brought 2. Asked 3 times for the last roti. Went to pay and mentioned the roti that never came. They just said that they forgot.

Good services, good hygiene and tasty foods. However, not really happy and uncomfortable with the toilet's concept. Both men and women have to use the same room. Only they are separated by a partition

One of the ideal places to have supper really. A lot of people flock here even when most average beings are asleep. The place is quite clean, spacious and well maintained, which makes this a suitable place to hang out with long lost friends and catch up with family members whom you have not seen in years. Staff are friendly and there are lots of parking spaces outside. The roti kayak here is delicious and it is not expensive either. I did not have to wait long for my order to be fulfilled. Definitely will return when the opportunity arises.

20 Nov 5.30pm. Came to ta-pau one meal. Was the only one at the food counter. One server, mask below chin having an animated discussion with the cashier, and ignored my presence for about 5 minutes. Order given, he continued his chat witb the cashier. I had to tell him to pls fill my order. And only then did he do the necessary. Then while wanting to pay, while being first in line, an middle aged โ€œgentlemanโ€ cut in and started another conversation with the cashier, this time flashing his smartphone screen at the cashier. So I waited. Since it went on without abating, I asked the cashier for the price of my purchase (first time). Cashier walks away to the food counter and starts chatting to the food servers. He comes back and stretches out his hand summoning me to pay!! I asked him again, how much (second time). Cashier now asks food server contents of my order. He sums it up and it was quite astronomical for a single meal. So while other comments here are on the reasonableness of pricing, i must disagree. This shop is expensive, to me. And from the way they ignored being attentive and civil, it made me lose my respect for the management of this huge chain of mamak eateries. Perhaps, they have no need to care about being civil to the patrons or their level of service since their business is so good. Cannot recommend this joint. Rude and expensive. On a positive note, the food is very tasty, hence the one star rating. Iโ€™ll take my business elsewhere from now on.

Best choice to have supper in this Mamak Restaurant. Food is good and cheaper, reasonable price. Environment is clean and neat. The bad things is Waiter do not give cutlery directly with food when serve to customer, need to rush and keep asking only will give cutlery. For your information, nowadays people won't use hand to eat. Thus, the worst is have to waiting so long for food and beverage. Almost to 45 minutes fot waiting the Maggie goreng and roti kosong.

Good food to enjoy with family and friends. Thank you to all staff that have work their best to serve even in a busy day and lack of manpower, they are trying to give their best. Lack of experience in servicing maybe obvious, but nonetheless they are doing their best with every type of customers everyday; some are hard, some smooth. But the staff keep on going. Good job.

Im delighted that i got freshly made puri, upon order here. Most mamak shops that i frequented in Ipoh their puris are mostly ready-to-eat type. And the accompanying potato and dhal gravy is also good. Drink is also satisfying, not overly sweet, as instructed. I ordered nescafe tarik. Anyway, price wise, slightly steep. Overall, can come again for another round of puri

The briyani rice was too salty. I am dissapointed with the chicken too because it was too sweet.

Staff have less experience taking order when they host big groups. They don't know how to provide separate bills. Very confusing and sometimes they force to take a drink you didn't order. The latter happened with me in the last visit. Suddenly there's a watermelon juice whereas no one ordered so. The waiter said it's in the system. You keyed in the system not me. Funny!!
