Horrible service with rude and inexperienced waiters. Wait time was extra long on a weekend night. We understand that it was a public holiday and you might be short handed, but it was no excuse that your staff was pulling a long face during the entire service. This was also not the first time that we were met with bad service at your restaurant and hence, I am writing this review. They also assigned us the wrong seats for our reservation and insisted that we move to another table without giving us any reason, even after we asked politely if we could stay on the table since we already ordered our food. The reserved table was also horrendous as there were no leg space for some of us, due to the way the bench and table were being placed. You would think that since we reserved a table ahead of time, they would actually take their time to consider and place everything correctly, but alas! Food were also thrown on our table when we were being served and the wait time was terribly long with no one telling us how long we have to wait and what is going on. If you have to let your customers wait, please kindly inform them beforehand on the wait time and not just leave them in the dark. When we told the owner of our experience, no apologies were also given. He just kept reiterating that all restaurants in Jb are like that during the public holiday. We do not need to hear that as paying guests, we understand that you are busy, but we were hoping for more than a rebuttal and a little bit more understanding.

Worked here previously. It was a pleasure learning the ways of work when it comes to fine dining. Fast forward to 2 years later, I managed to actually see how this place operates from a customer's point of view and I do appreciate each and every one's hard work. Its not easy but trust me. The food is worth your time and consideration.

22 Jan 2022. Having early dinner with my wife here. We ordered a larger beef pizza, taste fantastic. Also ordered a pasta with white wine source, this one may need some twist to be better. Overall experience was great. Place to visit again. Host is very friendly.

I love the service and food!! It’s been a while since I had a perfect pizza with a rustic pizza crust. The pizza guy and waiters are friendly and helpful. My overall experience with this restaurant makes me feel homey and I will definitely visit again.

Italian restaurant at Horizon Hills. Came here for the pizza after recommendation from friends. Nice ambience and settings Ordered the Thin crust type pizza. Not as good as expected. A bit hard. Perhaps will try the regular dough next round

Had the pleasure of visiting a charming establishment that perfectly blended fantastic draft beer, delectable pizza and friendly staff. From start to finish, my experience was nothing short of exceptional.

Went there for birthday celebration. Food portion is adequate. Rice ball worth to try, pizza is good. Platter enough for 4 pax to share. Staff is responsive and friendly. Also having variety options for wine.

Place was easy to find. Easy parking and host was very welcoming. Food is not exactly cheap by JB standards. But its not expensive. We had the lamb shank. Chicken par..... Something something and the salad. We also ordered the chicken wings and fries but the last 2 items took too long to arrive so we packed them to go instead. The lamb and chicken something something is great! The shank pairs really well with the stout they serve. Portion was decent. Lamb is fall off the bone tender. You just need the fork. Barely any hint of gaminess. The lamb did not overwhelm the spices used to season the meat. Its a must eat here. Will be back, and defo will go earlier cuz the service takes a while.

Having visited twice, we have not changed our perception and expectations were always met. Giving the best of both worlds in italian fine dining. We are always welcomed with warm friendly people of Coppola. A fine gentleman, Mr Nuri has always made our visits easy with great recommendations. And if you're lucky you might see the man himself, who has set up this fine establishment to carry itself on its own.

Recommended. Ordered Manzo Pizza & I really miss the pizza. The pork ribs is good too, easily off the bones. A little pricey but overall still can give it a try.

The atmosphere is very good. And the pizza is very tasty, after I ordered the pizza, the chef made it fresh by traditional way to cook it. It is the best pizza I’ve ever had. My friend ordered mix seafood risotto, he is very satisfied on it! Definitely recommend for those who want to try out Italian foods!

Entered the restaurant and immediately received a warm welcome by the staff. A nice ambient with warm setting restaurant. We ordered their Mediterranean seafood grill platters (for 2 pax) and it was fresh and very delicious indeed. We definitely will be back again.

Today we celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday at Cappola’s with around 20 guests. From booking the table, arranging the menu, pre-ordering meals ahead of time, to receiving friendly, efficient service on the day and super tasty and well prepared food and drinks, everything was just PERFECT! The atmosphere was cosy and the tables meticulously prepared. We really could not fault a thing! A huge THANK YOU to Stefano and his staff for taking such great care of us. Highly recommended.

Had to pleasure of being served by Nuri. Excellent service, polite and helpful in recommendations. I thoroughly enjoyed their Tiramisu: strong and distinct taste, every mouth was met with consistent spongy wet texture, absolutely lovely. One of, or it not, the best Tiramisu I have had thus far. Pizza was fine with its crust being it's highlight and GPC Carbonara was equally delightful as well. Reasonably priced (~RM90 per pax) with ample seating and parking space. Can't wait to come again!

Good italian restaurant that was serve like a vip. The staff is very helpful which recommend the food to us as we are 1st time here. The food is filling and nice. Pasta with cheese must try. Tomatos also best.

The beef stew osso buco is really amazing and worth waiting.... would definately be back for this dish. Pizza is thin crust and uses good quality ingredients and homemade ravioli is good too...tiramisu is a definate yes for dessert!!

Unfortunately not serving complimentary drinking water anymore. Atmosphere is great Food is really authentic Italian food and very very delicious. Best spaghetti, risotto, steak in JB (so far I have been to). A little bit pricey, but pretty worth it.

As a family of 4 we probably should have chosen another restaurant as loud music and smoking crowds weren’t the best combination for our children. This is a bar through and through rather than a Italian restaurant as we hoped. Having said that, service was a little slow, water came much later (and with prompting at the bar) than the milkshake, and additional ketchup that we requested for never came (instead it was pointed out that we already had ketchup with our onion rings). The pizza was good though, with real chunks of ham, although some pieces were thick skin and could not be chewed through. In total we ordered a milkshake, caprese, a pizza, a kids’ fish & chips and onion rings, the bill was RM200+. Pretty high even for Singapore standards if you ask me.

The pizza is great, but the seafood platterand chicken chop is so so. For its prize in malaysia, I think it is not so great. The atmosphere and ambience is great, just needto keepthe flies out ( which is difficult for local restaurants here apparently)

Looking for a nice authentic Italian Restaurant in Johor? Come to Coppola Pizza Restaurant, they cook real good authentic Italian cuisine. It’s a bit pricy, but worth paying for good quality of food. They use real wood oven for pizza and pork bacon for carbonara… lecker lecker! 🍝🍕🇮🇹❤️

I still rate this restaurant excellent for its food. Boss and staff (under staffed) are kind of quirky, better have a reservation or else there might be no table. Once you can see beyond the quirkiness, it's a really good place to eat. Parking is aplenty in the area.

The best pizza I ever had there! Service is excellent! Salads are awesome! Near by are also 3 other excellent places for eating! The Turkish restaurant is so authentic and beautiful! Bularian and Mexican are near by. Definitely we go again there! Thank you guys! Looking forward to come again!

Was randomly driving around the area and never knew that they have an Italian restaurant here. Decided to give it a try and it is by far the best Italian rest in JB. Other reviews seem to mention it is expensive but to me all Italian restaurants are at this price. What matters most is you get great quality and tasty food. So definitely good value dining here. Will be back for wife's birthday in a few weeks!

Have a wonderful birthday dinner with Coppola, staffs are very friendly , foods r nice. Cozy dining environment. Nice pizza, nice calamari , everything is nice , but the pork chops is a bit chewy ( still acceptable ) .Order two tiramisu end up only need to pay for one , another FOC for birthday lady! The food was nice here and the servings were generous. It was also good that they had a nice salad selection, not just 'green' and 'ceasar'. I do think that the prices was a bit high though. And the outdoor section would Benefit from a little more lighting.

One of the best spots for Pizza in Johor Bahru. The fresh pizzas coming out of the wood-fired oven looked amazing with abundant ingredients and delicious dough. A bit far away if you are in the city centre, but recommended if you happen to be in the area, and even if not, just worth the visit.

Boss treated us like family, even personally served their famous tiramisu to one of the customers for her bday.

We ordered a lamb rack and a pork chop. The pork chop is juice and it comes with pasta so it is feeling. As for the lamb rack , the rack can meaty and it does not taste gamey so it was great as well. The mashed potatoes under the rack was amazing as well

Foods and environment are both great. But gotta bear in mind that they're serving customers slow.
