It's good to have no expectation. I was pleasently surprised by the place. It's about 35min drive from the city, good relaxing green sceneries along the way, not too much traffic, partly due to covid19. The beach is not too bad, reasonably clean n well maintained. There are some shopping places. There are some restaurants, though some are closed. Along the beach, there are benches, trees to provide shades, some wet and dry playgrounds, great attractions for the kids, or family with children.

Forest City is the best place for family picnic. Nice scenery the man made sandy beach is best place for children to play around. You can see Singapore which is just across the Selat Tebrau. The landscape design with coconut tree, miniatures of giant crab , turtle, sea lion. There also swimming pool for children and adult. Also mini water slide for children to play around. The atmosphere is nice with the breeze form the sea.For avid photographer this place offer a lot of nice scenery , landscape for your album. There is also a miniature of Forest City. Indoor forest to relax. The view from the top level is astounding. It is a well planned city that take years of planning. Forest City is actually built on a man made island. There are a lot of apartments. City of the future only for foreigner. For golf enthusiasm there are also golf resort for you to tee off.

Amazing project by Country Garden. A well planned new city with thousands of apartments, villas, bungalows and penthouses. Did I mention it's a sustainable, energy efficient development, that will be home to approx. 750,000 new residents over 25 years.

I was lucky to get a big room with the seaview overlooking Singapore and 2nd link. I would say the place is clean both in and outside the hotel. The hugh bathtub in the room is s big plus. During CMCO, the hotel was giving an attractive promotion RM199.00 for 2 and comes with free Breakfast, Tea time and dinner. The buffet breakfast was delightful with Chinese, Malay and Western food. With this rate is a steal. Only slight drawback, no TV programs, aircond not so cold and no lightings outdoor and carpark. Can see that the management is conserving energy. Do pay a visit , a lot of swimming pools and playground for children if Covid 19 is over. Enjoy.

This place looks like a ghost town right now, with cleaning staffs and sales staffs here and there. I believe this place would be great if it were fully developed and more people moving in.

If you are planning to stay here I wouldn't recommend because it's quite far from the city and all of its benefits like food delivery services unless you are the type of person who always home cook and don't mind travelling around 20 to 40 minutes to buy groceries from supermarket. Small shops nearby.

First time at the sales gallery and I am from Selangor, just get to know this big project!!!

It is a magnificent sales gallery by far in comparison with those of any property development in M'sia. The structure dwarf others by scale as well as architecture. The centrepiece scale model of the future Forest City is an epic story of a visionary megacity; arguably unrivalled in this part of the world. Sales enquiry must be by appointment as there is no personnel on duty.

Gorgeous place and very enjoy to go there with family. It's free entrance and parking . The garden and the beach are very well maintained. If you want to swim with kids , I recommend you to bring swimming suit. You can do sunbathing , play the sand , or just walk around. Follow Google map , easy to find this place . It's wonderful place , very recommended to go !

Not much peoples, very confusing road. No petrol station nearby or shops. Only 1 proper shopping mall with duty free shop selling liquor. Not much food choice at 11am, Only mary brown is open But food Not nice. Environment look nice with alot landscaping, too many roundabout and funny road name, No maps or arrow indication. Surprise there is a custom with security carry guns, do not need to chop passport But need to stop vehicle for security checks.

Forest City is a new urban development in the Iskandar Malaysia Special Economic Zone in Johor, Malaysia. It is an environmentally friendly, multicultural integrated city, a green city, a smart city and a safe city. The project is made up of four man-made islands covering of 30km square of reclaimed area. In 2020 it was awarded as “2020 Asian Townscape Jury's Award". At the moment (during this MCO), not much activities going around here but public are allowed to come in here for recreational activities near the seaside.

Great place development. Good initiative. I wonder how they maintain all the plants and greens, will it cause less greener world putting the greens here. Not 100% plants are real, some of them are fake. Architecture are however seriously amazing. Good investment opportunity, if you like to invest in 'mini China'. The park and pools are nice, good place to bring family. Make sure you wear suitable permitted swimming outfit only, and there is admission fee starting from May. RM2 each kid, RM3 each adult.
