So
I’m
going
to
write
a
detailed
review
and
procedure
on
what
to
do
if
you
want
to
get
tested
free
at
NIH
for
COVID-19.
Please
note
that
you
need
a
prescription
from
any
doctor
referring
you
to
get
Corona
test
so
don’t
just
walk
in
to
get
tested,
always
have
a
prescription
from
any
doctor
or
clinic
before
you
head
to
NIH.
Remember
to
take
a
picture
or
photocopy
of
that
prescription
because
they
will
keep
the
original
prescription
for
their
own
record.
Please
write
your
mobile
number,
address
and
ID
Card
number
on
the
prescription
because
it’s
necessary
and
you’ll
have
to
write
it
there
before
you
get
registered
so
I’d
advise
to
write
these
details
anywhere
on
the
prescription
with
your
own
pen
before
you
go
there.
The
best
time
to
go
there
is
around
8:30
-
9:00
am
before
it
gets
busy.
The
registration
and
test
sample
windows
are
just
about
5-7
minutes
walk
from
car
park,
so
it’s
not
a
long
walk.
Park
your
car
carefully
so
you
can
drive
out
easily
once
done.
They
will
take
your
prescriptions
and
give
you
tokens
from
one
window
and
then
they’ll
call
you
for
samples
from
throat
at
the
other
window.
If
you
manage
to
get
there
early
then
it
won’t
take
any
longer
than
total
around
20
minutes
in
the
whole
procedure.
They
give
48
hours
time
for
test
results
but
in
majority
of
the
cases
they
will
send
you
a
text
message
by
6
pm
same
day
with
the
link,
username
&
password
for
test
results.
If
you
don’t
receive
a
text
message
then
better
wait
for
the
mentioned
time.
The
staff,
as
one
can
imagine
in
any
other
“sarkaari
idara”,
aren’t
very
helpful
or
friendly.
This
may
be
because
of
the
high
influx
of
people
they
have
to
entertain.
After
you
receive
your
results
and
if
they
are
positive,
you
will
receive
a
call
both
from
NIH
and
district
hospital
after
2-3
days
of
test
to
have
a
check
on
you.
If
tested
positive
and
recovered
InshaAllah,
you
don’t
need
to
get
tested
again
after
14
days
as
it’s
unnecessary.
Your
body
may
retain
virus
for
3
or
more
weeks
but
it
becomes
dead
&
harmless
for
your
body
and
untransmittable
to
others
so
no
need
for
another
test,
just
end
your
isolation
after
14
days
if
you
don’t
persist
any
symptoms
like
fever
and
stuff.
I
know
it
was
long
but
I
hope
it’s
helpful.
