Delicious Ramen served with a smile. It's definitely worth the wait. Prices are good, and portion sizes are good as well. I would personally recommend the Shoyu ramen with the special add-on.

So so so salty. The noodle texture is really nice but the soup is so salty that I could not finish even though I only consume the noodle. The soup is also very oily so it’s not eatable. My friend got tonkutsu ramen and also thought it’s too salty.

I would say it was completely random for me to take a chance on this restaurant. Everything was fine! However, the food is not truly authentic, and the flavour is a little tasteless for me! The environment is so good but the toilet is outside, and it is really cold at that time. The service is excellent.

To put a premise, ramen is my fav food in the entire world as a Japanese and it’s my first time writing a food review because of how shocked I was. It was also the first time I couldn’t finish a bowl because of how bad it was. The broth was thick, with no richness or depth. Just pure fat and oil swimming on top. The noodles too thick for the soup’s thickness, it was tough to continue, with fat clinging onto every bite. The chaashuu (pork) was bland and flavorless and texture was meh. It’s supposed to be marinated w/ soy sauce + sake + mirin and others. There was also no egg, a signature of a ramen bowl. The best part of the dish was the bean sprouts and seaweed, which is sad to say. For a €15 bowl of ramen (plus €4 for kaedama, extra noodles), you would expect a decent bowl to be able to at least finish. The rating of this place seems to be the highest in the region, which speaks volumes of the standard accepted and celebrated here in Paris but for me, it was the worst I’ve ever had. Maybe when it first opened, it was really good and now it’s living off of hype w/ drop in quality, as is many restos elsewhere. Also PS. Their sendai ramen and miso pork ramen is identical, except for extra not-crispy not-flavorful full-fat minced pork added on top. Why do I know this? Because they messed up the order and told me it’s the same thing so eat it. Also hair in water, which I usually don’t care but stacked w others, it’s worth noting. Chef is Japanese though, he probably knows best it’s really poor ramen but as long as non-Japanese people flow in and pay, I guess why would he care. The restaurant had no Japanese person eating aside from me and I’m not surprised. I don’t even live in Japan anymore, so I was looking forward to some decent ramen in awhile. Did not expect a bowl i wouldn’t be able to finish. I make better instant ramen at home. Cute atmosphere though.

Looks as good as it is! One of the best in the city. Small menu but really delicious, please go for the miso ramen (14/15€) and the rice ball (5/6€). Portions are more than ok. Service is very nice and polite. Little place, not a lot of seats so think about going early or you'll have to wait outside (never too long tho). I'll miss this restaurant (the vegetarian option is very good as well)

Without any doubts the best ramen restaurant of the Rue Sainte Anne. Not the best of Paris, as the service is a bit slow and they mixed up our orders. The broth is delicious and the noodles perfectly cooked, like in Japan. The waiting line may take hours, so come well prepared and if possible at the opening hours. The place is small but comfortable.

Great place to eat good ramens in Paris, very flavorful. Make sure to come early or book in advance because the place is quite small and gets full very fast. There is usually a line. Worth the wait.

I recently visited Menkicchi Ramen and it was a great experience. The restaurant is tiny and does not accept reservations so we had to wait for 1 hour outside and it was 0 degrees. Other than that, the service is quite nice and quick! The waiters are always smiling and the atmosphere is okay. The chefs cook in front of you its quite nice to watch them. The food is delicious, thick and their is good flavour. There is two options if you don’t eat pork and this is quite limiting. Portions are generous and quite fair prices. I recommend to visit it but if you don’t eat pork try to find other places as there is no beef or chicken Ramen.

I recently visited Menkicchi, a Japanese restaurant in Paris, known for its specialty in Tonkotsu ramen. The ramen, prepared by Chef Saegusa, was absolutely delicious – the broth was thick, creamy, and bursting with flavor. The portions were generous, adding to the overall great dining experience. However, the restaurant is quite small, which led to a bit of a wait. Despite this, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Located at either 41 rue Sainte-Anne or 1 rue de la grange batelière, Menkicchi offers a unique taste of Fukuoka region’s cuisine in the heart of Paris

Kinda of surprised by the good reviews, but they served almost rotting vegetables in the ramen. When we told the waiter about this (who was very polite and understanding, and offered us a small discount in the end ), the chefs who were just across our table seemed quite nonchalant, saying nothing can be done. A quick taste of your carrots would have made you realize they were spoiling...First and last time here. Hygiene seems not good.

    - For the food : I've tasted multiple ramen places in Paris and I think it's one of the bests taking into account the price. The noodles are a little bit large, the soup is delicious and the toppings are good quality. You don't have a lot of choices but I think it's a good sign: what they do they do well. I recommend the spicy meat miso ramen. - For the service : people are nice, polite and helpful. The food is prepared quickly and the price range is very affordable. ----> overall: I think it's perfect for 2 people or alone ; it's quick, good and affordable. The place is small but you feel comfortable and at peek hours you'll maybe wait 20/30 min outside (you can't reserve)

Small and cute Ramen shop. Very good Ramen and polite staff. Very small, feeling quite crowded and with small tables. Overall very nice though.

They mixed our ramen orders. One of us got extra lucky and had a spoon coming with extra rice. Given we were the first to seat after opening, maybe we were honored with the chef's lunch rice spoon, or maybe it's aged rice from the night before.

Wow! Really impressed! The taste is same as in Japan. I haven’t eaten proper Ramen for three years since my last trip to Japan. Really, really recommended. If you speak Japanese, that’s the place where you can practise as well ;)

Highly recommend! The closest to Japanese ramen I have eaten in a while. There is a long waiting line outside, but if you are patient, then this is totally worth it. The portion size was good the service was quick and kind, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I enjoyed it!

美味しかった〜。 As a Japanese I thought this ramen place tasted authentic ramen. Loved it. And the gyoza was delicious. The noodle is original, it’s not the typical one you buy from supermarket. I wonder if it’s homemade. One of the best in Paris. The service was great too!

Love the vibe of this little ramen restaurant. Though I didn’t set my expectations right, the broth (miso tonkotsu) I ordered was extremely thick and salty, almost like sauce to the noodles. I will probably only go for the shio ramen next time. I do like the noodles and their texture.

Good ramen, but not impressive, broth is a bit too salty. The pork is nice though. The dry chilly is interesting

Great ramen, lovely service. The noodles are a bit thicker than in most places I visited before but they are delicious. I took the current special (Sendai) which I definitely recommend - so so full of flavour. New favourite ramen in Paris!

don’t walk too fast as you may miss the small shop front. that said, the small interior is also a little tight but typical of a japanese ramen shop. the classic is a real classic with a good blend of salt in the broth. it is a little on the oily side, so you should dip your spoon a little deeper to get more of the broth less you end up drinking just oil. the miso soup is a little thick and maybe sweet(?). can’t quite decide between the salt and the thickness. on a whole, i’d be able to drink a spoon full of the classic tonkotsu soup with some noodles but i’d just dip a little of the miso together with the noodles to sufficiently get the taste of the dish. the ramen noodles were a little thicker than normal. closer to udon noodles than ramen. because it was thicker, the noodles were also a little more bouncy when chewing. frankly, it was a little hard to slurp the noodle as a normal traditional benchmark for japanese ramen.

The sendai ramen was way too salty! Don't really like the thick ramen noodles as well. Give an extra star for the service! The lady who served me was very nice and speak very good English! However the food was rather disappointing and price was on the higher side as well, But probably will return give them another chance for the good service who knows

Favourite ramen place in Paris. Had the Tonkotsu ramen with extras and the highlight is the broth. It's on the thicker side and very flavourful, no too salty as well (it could be) and reminded me of a really good ramen place in Japan. They also have vegetarian option with lots of vegetables as toppings. The service was very friendly and we could see the kitchen from our table which is a plus for that ramen shop feel. I highly recommend for anyone that likes a hearty broth and for cold weather. They don't have a lot of seating so make sure to get there early, if not it's worth the wait!
