We enjoyed the lunch in the restaurant.. the server did an amazing job, even they were understaffed.. food good too.

Very slow service. People that were seated after us were served first and got their food quickly. My daughter and I were left waiting for our food for almost an hour. Not worth the wait.

Young staff who sat us at wrong table and then moved us. Ordered a martini and they got it wrong twice! Had the pasta amd I think it was ketchup or plain tomato sauce, no flavor. Wasnt worth the money and just terrible for the Palace of Versailles. I expected something way different and elevated.

The service left us frustrated and ruined the lunch. We made reservations well in advance for 12:30 lunch. We got there and were the third table to get seated and gave our order as soon as the server came to our table. Fast forward over an hour and we had not gotten our food. With many tables who were seated after us got the same dishes we had ordered and were done eating them before we got ours. When I tried to complain to our server, all I got was the kitchen messed up. That is not even possible. So from a 12:30 reservation we walked out of there at 2:30 very dissatisfied. The food taste and quality was not bad, but service ruined our experience.

Nice place to eat. Feels very cosy and relaxed. The food was very good and it didn’t feel as touristy.

A wonderful place to enjoy lunch when touring Versailles. Make a reservation to make process easier. Recommend 12pm seating to beat the crowd. Food is remarkable.

Enjoyed a break from the sweltering heat of early September, in the shade on the patio. Cold drinks with ice!!! Friendly wait staff. Located a bit of a walk from the Palace. Keep your Versailles tickets handy, as we needed them to "re-enter" the Palace grounds.

The exclusivity of the venue is stunning. Inside the modern-ish interior and the generic spotify playlist is a bit different from what you expected We had a pre-ordered menu, mediocre, I guess that is not the best of the chef.

I ordered a starter. Sea bass and Fenouil. Very fresh and good. Then my dessert is also great. Sweet and sour love it~

Visited this terrible restaurant today. Firstly it took a long time to place our order. I ordered the vegetable tagliatellie. When it arrived there wasn’t a single vegetable in the dish. It was just plain pasta with oil and herbs. I informed two waiters about this before the manager finally came. The manager said “it is a pasta with vegetables dish.” I said yes but there is no vegetables in it. I showed her the dish which had no vegetables in it. I also highlighted to her the poor service. The manager still continued to argue that my dish consisted of vegetables even though the plate is right in front of her. I told her the menu is misleading and asked if the dish can be taken off the bill as compensation. The manager said they can offer free dessert and I said we don’t have time as we have been waiting for a long time for service (by this point almost 2 hours). Bear in mind the 2 hours was just for a main course (no starter or dessert). The manager agreed to take off the bill and took the food away. But the bill still had the dish listed. The manager came back again to say they can’t take it off the bill and said the only compensation is a coffee. When i asked about the fact she said earlier it would be taken off the bill, she said she didn’t agree in the first place. Then why nod your head, say ok and take the plate away? And now, even the dessert was no longer offered! (We didn’t have time for this anyway). Left the place feeling hungry and unhappy. Absolute lies, terrible service and terrible food with no care for customer satisfaction at all. We ended up paying a ridiculous amount for nothing. My husband and I felt that we were discriminated because we are Asian. Please avoid this scam place at all costs.

Wonderful food and Atmosphere , 4 stars for service because you need to arrive early , the later you got the slower the service .

Firstly, this restaurant is beautiful and the ambiance is great. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. And the food / drinks were delightful. We loved that this was a bit tucked away from the bustle of the grounds. Would love to come again

Great, a bit smaller place, we did not have reservations, so we waited a few minutes for a free table, but the food was great, and they served a bottle of water for free.

Not the one to complain about my food, had ribeye steak and some of it was sooo chewy that I had to hide it in the tissue. And some mystery taxes on the bill 🤔 Update: I stand corrected! Nothing good comes from negative reviews. I was wrong as explained by the restaurant. Updated my response.

The carbonara was non-traditional and it was incredible. Felt weird eating Italian in France but this dish made our split minute hangry decision worth it!

Food quality exceeded expectations for a restaurant in a museum. Worth the walk out to get away from the crowds.

Lovely terrace worth sitting on compared to other food venues within Versailles with a great range of Italian cuisine. Those were the positives; for the rest: the lemoncello spritz was below par, the menu items very expensive (as expected in a touristy attraction), and the food took 45mins to arrive -worst was the both meals ordered were cold plate of meats and cheese. The staff seemed in utter confusion, blaming one another whilst turning away customer after 15:30 but had lovely banter (which unfortunately doesn’t make up for the “experience”). If you plan on spending the day in Versailles, I strongly suggest you plan food in advance.

The food was good and flavorful. The atmosphere was good situated inside what I guess was a former geove. The drinks were average. The prices are expensive, which I would suspect being inside of the palace complex. The staff are friendly. The facility was clean.

The people there were very pleasant and helpful. The food was simple - pizza, yogurt, pastries. The dining was small and cozy. There was seating outside. It was easy in and out.

Really high quality in food and service. If you are going to visit the versailles castle/garden, it is definetly worth to take a break at this restaurant. It's located just outside of the paid area of the garden, but you should be able to reenter the garden once with your ticket (we did that). The food is super high quality compared to the shops in the garden. Remember to reserve a table in advance!

This IS good! I’ve tasted the best octopus in my 36 yrs of being thanks to the random find of this low profile restaurant, the spaghetti with tomato sauce is also wonderful. Service is nice and efficient (please take into account there ain’t many waiters not waitresses there), price reasonable for a restaurant (not a takeaway food shabby place) in the Versailles.

King Louis would have had their heads! Had reservations, sat us at the wrong table, had no idea how to make a Martini twice, BOTH WERE VILLE switched to wine, food was tasteless,better off starving and wait staff was far to young and not trained properly! Asked twice for coffee and got cappuccino! Don't waist ur money or time there! Had photos but deleted them it was that bad!

Inside the Palace of Versailles there are not many option to eat. If you want a restaurant to eat good, sit and relax "La Petite Venise" could be your choice. Tasty dishes and good service. Prices around 20 € per dish.

The waiters were charming and efficient but a total disaster in terms of food! Soggy precooked paster, barely warm precooked sea bass filet, chicken filet burger with undercooked and cold chicken breast!!! In view of the limited choices on the menu, the kitchen should really make an effort to make the few things work!!!

Very nice setting at Jardins exit, friendly staff. Food OK but not great. Worth having a coffee and cake there after your visit of the chateaus parc.

There were many seats near the window, however he led me the most corner seat. Especially the white workers passed me even if I was looking at them for a while to order and pay. They pretended too busy. So I had to wait about 30 minites just to pay the pizza through another guy. I felt bad about the service.
