Beautiful hotel with private library just for the residents of the hotel. It feels more like a private home. There is nothing flashy or commercial about it. Everything is done to highlight the details of the original building. The restaurant is simply discreetly beautiful. You can feel the quality of the materials they used. It speaks for itself, it is louder than any words can describe. Sometimes, you come across something so special, you just want to keep it to yourself. This is one of those hotels. One of the last hidden gem left in this over Instagrammed confused world. Try it yourself. At least once. In a life time.

If you're reading reviews about this Hotel, it can likely go without saying that you already know this is at the top of the top of the Paris market. At a certain level some say you're splitting hairs, but our visit also happened to be our first vacation, post baby. The Hotel set a platinum standard for family travel as far as I'm concerned. Our room had a very large walk-through closet, which was perfect to isolate the crib. They provided a baby bath towel, changing supplies, a high chair, toys, washed the bottles, accommodated all the complex food requests and on and on. Staff could not have been nicer and we genuinely felt that everyone in the hotel knew our baby's name and were happy to have us. Life is different with a baby, but La Reserve has shown that it doesn't have to "ruin" luxury travel. This has earned significant brand loyalty for our family going forward, and I would be happy to return any time and visit any of their other properties.

We came to have a hot chocolate at the Library because of the green velvet decoration (seen on Instagram...). The moment you step into the place, everyone greets you and takes care of you even if you are not a client of the hotel and it feels that people are very genuine because real service comes from the heart. The atmosphere at the Library was delightful, cosy and very luxurious. We ordered 2 homemade hot chocolate (get ready for a very top notch price) and we didn't know what to expect. They came with beautiful silver pot (looks like 1/2 L each!) and extra milk and a tiny cake with peanuts. The hot chocolate was divine and rich and we were glad that we didn't order a cake to come with it, we were full for the rest of the afternoon and evening! The toilets are also worth to check. Overall I highly recommend the Library to have an affordable experience of Parisian luxury with top notch service.

My recent visit to a well-regarded 5-star hotel took an unexpected turn, leaving me quite dissatisfied. It's important to note that I was there solely for a drink and eat not for a stay. Upon arrival, the initial lackluster welcome by the staff set the tone for what would become a series of unfortunate incidents. While some staff guided us to a cigar room, the experience quickly soured as, after settling in for just five minutes, the manager abruptly approached us and asked us to leave. The rudeness displayed by the manager was both surprising and disheartening. The mishaps continued to unfold as we seated outside had some snacks after that the staff switch off the lights while we were still seated, but it also left us bewildered by the disregard for guest comfort!!! I was expecting a friendly and inviting atmosphere Such an incident raises concerns about the attention to detail and the commitment to providing a luxurious and inviting environment that one expects from a 5-star luxury establishment. Amidst the overall disappointment, I am grateful for a small bright spot in this experience. I’d like to extend my thanks to the lady dressed in a green/blue dress. Her warmth and friendly demeanor provided a glimmer of hospitality that was sorely lacking elsewhere .

Un art de vivre à la française 2020 , has been a challenging year to say the least . As I have my pied à terre in Paris , during normality times , I often dine at restaurants at Palace hotels and rarely have the occasion to stay. I decided to spend New Year’s Eve with my dearest friend’s and stay at our ultimate Favorite Palace , La Réserve , less ostentatious than Paris’s officially designated palace hotels, it’s every aspect their equal, if not their superior — at the very least it’s gone straight into the top tier of Parisian luxury hotels. Suites outnumber rooms, as is only fitting for a small Palace , more like a private residences than hotel rooms, a true residential atmosphere , subdued 19th-century mansion . I coordinated my stay with the Hotel Manager , Mr Julien Gardin and visited several suites and along with his expertise and his team created memorable stay . I conversed several times to further refine all the necessary details. I was extremely impressed with Raphaël, duty manager, he was excellent , proactive and assisted immensely, most spontaneous. Mélody , Chef de Brigade, was simply outstanding, delightful and most gracious, assisted in coordinating with pre-registration ,personalized to every detail, with an extensive list , to anticipate with preferences,to ensure to a ultimate stay for their guests . I have stayed at many luxury properties around the globe and reiterate how impressive the experience remains . We arrived with the hotel’s pre arranged chauffeur, we were greeted by the entire team awaiting outside of the Mansion , I was overwhelmed . I have never experienced such a Royal Welcome , true Red Carpet . Upon arrival , Melody graciously escorted us to our suite , 507 and gave us an overview of all the comforts and amenities. We felt immediately at home . Its interiors exquisitely designed by Jacques Garcia, whose typically romantic style is at its most refined here. Décor is plush and luxurious without being flashy, featuring Bordeaux and Merlot themes with velvet bed runners, bed heads and silk wallpaper — plus more contemporary elements in the artworks and soft furnishings. There is attention to detail in every aspect , with options to control temperature, light and television either the traditional way or with modern technology from Apple, iPads. Minibars feature Nespresso machines, kettles and complimentary soft drinks. All rooms contain some sports equipment for those who don’t want to use 24-hour gym. Bathrooms are simply exquisite Spa like feel , in Carrara marble, with featuring sinks carved from single blocks and free-standing metal tubs with remote-controlled television, Toto washlets . The spa, specializing in Nescens-Swiss anti-aging treatments, also contains a 50-foot indoor pool, which was privatized for us during our one hour sessions , truly blissful. We were hosted in a separate suite with the view of the Eiffel Tower . Restaurant Manager , Kevin Bourgogne and his team orchestrated every aspect of our dining experience, from tableware exquisitely selected and overall ambiance , understated and refined. Our exquisite menu was created for our New Year’s celebration by the expertise of the talented Chef Jérome Banctel , culinary delights were most carefully prepared , with the finest , freshest of ingredients and executed to perfection. The service was butler style, personalized , discreet yet unobtrusive and added to the overall Excellence in service , they ensured and anticipated all our needs throughout the evening. Our dining was a true visual elegance throughout, paired with perfect Champagne from the proprietors vineyards , Michel Reybier . We had the great privilege of having the talented singer ,Sophie de Quay and Simon , multi-instrumentalist, performing for us as we were dining , her powerful and intense voice ... truly mesmerizing, both are a true gift to the universe. Meanwhile , We continue to reminisce on our magical soiree that you and your team created for us , truly most memorable stay and without any doubt The Best Experience!

Went there twice over the weekend or cocktails in the beautiful elegant bar - Gaspard. The Batman Vincent and all the personnel were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. And the cocktails are delicious!

Checked in to this hotel late at night and quite frankly my first impression was over stuffy and rigid old school decor which is not my style. Next day my whole perspective changed the rooms are done with exquisite taste and just right for comfort the bathroom is modern and clean lines and finishes , as for the staff they were over the top accommodating . This place felt like home … will strongly recommend it !

A small but exquisite hotel which I certainly can say is one of the top 3 in Paris. They think of everything and there is nothing to complain. Simply lovely

My husband and I held an intimate dinner in the Winter Garden room to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. The entire team at La Réserve helped make the evening so special and were a delight to work with on flower arrangements and helping to get the exact vibe of what I had envisioned for the evening. The room was absolutely magical and the food and service throughout the night were impeccable. Thank you to the entire La Réserve team!

We stayed at the La Reserve Apartments so we had access to the spa at the hotel. Had the best massage ever and got my nails done here. They also have an indoor pool that you can use for a limited amount of time when you book a service. Staff is very nice.

This hotel is the true 5 star experience and worth every dollar. Where to start - the hotel itself is beautiful and grand like a true palace beautiful inside and out. The staff is out of this world everyone remembers your name and its so personable. The E bikes are really a great way to see Paris and the bellman was so helpful. The concierge was incredible they took notes and called restaurants early to get us into the hardest places in paris ( we stayed at a different hotel in paris prior to this stay and they kept saying “impossible to get a reservation for at least 3 months” meanwhile the concierge basically got us in to everywhere we wanted to go. The facilities were amazing hammam, gym, pool - both times i went down was completely empty and private. SPECIAL SHOUTOUT TO ASTRID - she really topped off our 5 star experience. We travel often but have never met anyone like her - her attention to detail and absolute drive to make your experience a great one from start to finish. This was our best hotel stay so happy we did it. Le gabriel was amazing as well.

I'm not a big fan of the hotel in Geneva but this one was exceptional. The cigar cave was fantastic. Well done and well appointed if discreet.

Exclusive, Luxurious, Posh, Elegant and Historic. It’s absolutely Gorgeous with service that’s beyond Magnificent. If you like Beautiful Decor and Furnishings, Sumptuous Cuisine and Royal Treatment in an intimate setting… La Reserve Paris is your destination. It was the Palace of Napoleons Brother so it’s easy to understand the level of Beauty. The staff were Phenomenal…the doorman were like Angels… so helpful, kind caring protective… the Reception and concierge staff were unbelievable and there was the sweetest young girl from room service who we wanted to adopt lol. My wife and I love coffee and lots of cold cream…so we called late at night… bought a lotttttt lol. Every day our Suite had fresh refills, We love her! We travel around the World a lot, we meet many staff and management but only twice have we met SUPERSTAR MANAGERS. Julien is that SUPERSTAR, Classy, Sophisticated, Professional and Kind. He’s a SPECIAL PERSON, he interacts with guests like you’re in his home. He engages everyone, constantly making sure your enjoying your stay and most important… cares. We even bought him a present because we were that impressed and liked him very much. When we left to our waiting limo…many staff were outside including Mr Julien Gardin to say goodbye, my wife looked at me and said “This is a Special Maison, he’s a Special Man and this is our new Sanctuary in Paris when we visit”. I nodded my head, smiled and agreed. So, to the Staff, to Julien… thank you and until we meet again. 😇🙏❤️

Fantastic visit, especially as the hotel was thoughtful about what we originally designed as a birthday trip. Staff left a thoughtful gift in the room for our arrival. All the rest was completely professional and excellent. Particularly appreciated the note and help of Astrid de Vannoise, Maitresse de l'hotel. All the best, look forward to visiting again soon.
