Beautiful, nice cosy hotel in a quiet and safe neighbourhood but very well-connected to all the major public transportation which made it easy to explore the city. The staff was very warm and very welcoming. The rooms are intimate and tiny in a comforting way with carefully thought-off amenities. The 24/7 complimentary coffee bar was a nice touch to the experience where after a long chilly day of exploring the city, one can grab a hot chocolate with delectable croissant and sit in the beautiful homely patio admiring things ! Overall a great stay !

This hotel was amazing! The room was cozy with probably one of the best bathrooms I've stayed in!! Soo clean and the staff is incredibly helpful. It's close to the metro station Gaite and bus lines 58/92 and Montparnasse station. It is walking distance from the Catacombs. We were two women and felt completely safe in that vibrant area! Highly highly recommended for anyone going for the first time or multiple times!

we had a very nice stay here, the room was small but clean and tidy. location is good, safe and very well connected to all Paris attractions via metro and bus. Also this is the hotel where Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir stayed, also their grave is close to the hotel if you are interested.

Very nice, comfortable, clean and convenient hotel! They've remodeled this old building very nicely, keeping the small elevator and circular staircase! We were welcomed by a very nice and efficient front desk employee. And they have free croissants in the lobby! Our room is well decorated and clean. The fridge is fancy (glass front) and hidden in the cabinet. The beds are comfortable! The bathroom is bright (nice to have a window), well laid-out (space used well), very clean and has thoughtful accessories (like a towel dryer and a stool for anyone who needs to sit in the shower). The petit dejeuner (€14) is very good, with an espresso machine (if it's working... unfortunately is was broken four of the five mornings we were there, sad face) and many food options, as well as friendly service! It's pretty loud when trying to sleep (rooms are close together walls are pretty thin and floors are creaky...old building), so ear plugs are helpful, but not a perfect solution if you have loud/busy neighbors.

The room I had although small had everything I needed (electric water heater and very adequate refrigerator). The bed (queen) was comfortable and the small bathroom very efficiently organized. The reception staff was super helpful, very courteous and pleasant no matter what I needed. The room was very clean and well maintained daily including week-ends. The hotel is very well situated with easy acces to the main Paris attractions. Thanks to the reception I had no problem using the metro which is a great way to get everywhere. I will definitely use this hotel again and highly recommend it.

Shoutout to Julie during our stay! We had a terrible experience in another hotel (Atelier Montparnasse) but this hotel removed all our stress away. The service was exceptional and they took great care of us. The location is a bit far from the famous landmarks but you can always walk or take Uber. Nevertheless, this was the best hotel we've stayed in our trip from service to a well-functioning facility! Thank you so much once again!

This is a small friendly place to stay. All of Paris is easily accessible through public transport. Rooms are clean, well appointed, but tight [small]. The staff are friendly. The thermostat did not work, but that was not an inconvenience. The happy hour with food and drinks was an exciting prospect until you go there. Everything is completely over priced. A 25cl beer, 5.50euro, often less than one euro in a supermarket. 2cl of liquor - not even an ounce, 6,50 euro. These prices are highway robbery - your management should be ashamed of themselves. I am not sure I could ever go back.

Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

We loved our stay at Hotel Mistral. The room was perfect for us. Very clean, cozy and comfortable. The staff was warm and welcoming. The breakfast was more than we expected and we appreciated being able to walk downstairs to enjoy all it had to offer. The area is close to the metro and some great restaurants and shops. We definitelywill stay again when we return. Thank you for everything.

This is my home from home in Paris. Why? Yes, the cleanliness, the accessibility, the excellent local restaurants, the sweet, twinkling light courtyard... but most if all: the smiles. My huge compliments to the staff, all of them. Front desk, restaurant, cleaning staff. Bravo! Helps restore my sometimes fading heart

Close to Metro. Plenty of places to eat close by. Friendly attentive staff. Very clean comfortable room. An easy place to come back to after a day seeing the sights of Paris. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed just one night at Hotel Mistral. Everything was perfect. The room was small, as expected, but certainly adequate, very clean, and well appointed. The real stand out was the staff. To a person, they were all more than gracious and accommodating. The location is an easy walk to Montparnasse and has convenient metro and bus lines nearby. I needed to store my baggage before check in and after check out. The reception staff was more than kind to do this. I highly recommend hotel Mistral.

We stayed 7 days at Hotel Mistral. Everything was great. We were very satisfied by the professional friendly service. I suggest it to anyone who are looking for a small hotel in a good location.

Clean, comfortable rooms albeit a little cramped. Staff is very accommodating and the location is superb; quiet yet only a block from restaurants and bars.

Excellent location with superb customer service! The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Without exception. Bravo! Room a little smaller than expected (we were in the largest available) but the bathroom was a good size and very well laid out. No extractor fan in the bathroom but we could open a window to avoid steaming up. Immaculately clean throughout. Only real negative was the lack of adequate soundproofing within the rooms. Creaky floorboards meant we heard every step from rooms beside and above us. The was no problem with noise from the street.

Small room, no place even to do push-ups. Room temp can b regulated only by calling reception. Was told it's a 2 months old rule, mandated by the gov.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Mistral. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, especially, Fernando. My only criticism is that 20 euros for breakfast is a little steep considering it's a buffet.

We had a very pleasant stay at this small but cozy hotel. It is very clean, the staff is friendly, breakfast very good. The patio in the inner courtyard is really nice :-)

OUtSTANDING! Exceeded my expectations. The rooms and beds are very comfortable and spacious as well as impeccably clean. A perfect blend of modern amenities while maintaining local charm! Everyone has been friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect to explore the area. My room had a lovely river view. Safety lighting throughout the building and excellent WiFi when needed. Highly recommend!!! Merci pour tout!

Amazing hotel, clean, in a great location close to the city center. Also, very friendly staff; they even offered to ship the sunglasses I left behind at the hotel. Once I get back to Paris, I will stay here for sure again.

This is a charming hotel off the beaten path. Room was clean, loved the electric tea kettle and mini fridge for provisions from the market. I especially loved the double glazed windows. The hotel is close to the metro and great brasseries, patisseries and boulangeries. I felt safe walking back from dinner. I plan to stay here again!

My room was small but very nicely decorated, quiet & clean. The hotel staff were very helpful and kind. I was just there overnight to catch the train to the airport. The location is walkable to the Gare Montparnasse and the RER B to CDG.

This is a lovely hotel; it is quaint, clean and in a great location. And if you enjoy French literature, there are some darling references to Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir throughout the establishment. I highly recommend it.

Location is excellent, the hotel is great for the value. Most important things with a hotel, cleanliness, location and air conditioning. Air conditioning was not working at all during my stay.

we stayed here about 5 yrs ago and still talk about how wonderful our stay was, and if we go back to Paris, we'll stay here again. The rooms were perfectly adequate and clean for our 3 days there. The breakfast area (sunroom/patio) was pleasant, clean and a nice way to start the day. The front desk guy was charming and friendly when we asked for help with directions.

This is a hotel that is build in the old house of 2 very famous French writers. Their names I won't be able to tell you, but their pictures are found in the lobby together with books they wrote. There's a beautiful garden inside, shared space for the guests to enjoy. The breakfast is nice, the baked goodies and the bread is exceptionally good. The rooms are nice. The workers are missing a tag name and a tag indicating which languages they speak. In addition, we are in France and there is no bidet. Every hotel should have a bidet, you are working with international customers. Some who are used to it. Not to mention that it's a French invention. Makes sense that you should be able to find it here. Otherwise, great hotel that is well worth the money.

Lovely hotel. I travelled with family and we stayed in the family room. It was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is conveniently located for the metro and quick access to tourist locations. The staff were all very friendly.

This relatively small hotel gives excellent service and seems very much to enjoy the company of their guests. Breakfast is excellent and varied, shower is larger than other hotels I've stayed in, and a large sink. The room safe is fine for me as I only brought my tablet this trip, but may be too small if you have a larger laptop.

+ Nice, clean hotel. Friendly staff. Has all required facilities. Near to transport links and plenty of places to eat. Can leave your luggage after check out to explore Paris freely on your last day. - Room is on the small side, but well laid out. Lift is slow and doesn't stop at ground on the way up.

Fantastic choice if you want to stay in Paris! The hotel itself was VERY clean, the elevator was a good size, and it was very charming. The room was a good size, very clean and the bathroom was newly renovated as well. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating!

Friendly, professional staff at the reception desk and the breakfast area who always went the extra mile to help guests and makes their stay pleasant. Lovely outdoor terrace with garden, a great spot for breakfast or an afternoon apéritif. Small but very clean room.. Location close to Gare Montparnasse & many excellent restaurants. I’d come back to this hotel.

Nice room w/double bed in a nice hotel. It was clean, in a good location, and there was a great kettle for boiling water almost instantly. Recommend Hotel Mistral.

What a wonderful stay we had at Hotel Mistral! We selected this hotel because of the close location to Gare Montparnasse, which we were traveling to and from Paris through. Even though it was a quick 5 minute walk to the station, the hotel felt worlds away from the busy train station. It was located on a quiet, small street just behind the Montparnasse Cemetery, which was lovely to walk through. We never heard any noise from our room and we had a window overlooking the street. The hotel is well appointed with a small reading nook in the lobby with a lot of interesting titles to choose from. We had a nightcap in the lounge one evening after sightseeing and it was very enjoyable while sipping my wine to peruse one of the books on Paris. There is also a small table with provided computers for hotel guests. In the mornings, we enjoyed the breakfast buffet set up in the lounge. The variety of food provided was really amazing and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was also a very lovely outdoor patio available for guests as well. The rooms are small, as most are in Paris, but had everything we needed, including a refrigerator. There was a small convenience store located next to the hotel which was useful for picking up snacks and drinks for the fridge. The rooms were extremely clean as well. Would definitely recommend staying here when you are in Paris!

A charming hotel ten minutes from Montparnasse station, with small but comfortable rooms. There is that rare thing, a kettle. Breakfast is outstanding with (among highlights) creamy scrambled egg, a fine selection of perfectly conditioned cheese and decent machine coffee, in a room looking on to a delightful patio garden. Bread knife needs to be sharper. The breakfast lady is lovely, and other staff are helpful - slightly less warm in their engagement than on our last visit.

Loved the location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Croissants and coffee available in the lobby around the clock. Breakfast was a very nice spread with lots to choose from. Would stay here again.

I travel to France every January for a trade show, and have stayed here four times in the last year or so. The staff is all very friendly and wonderful—this will be my regular hotel for years to come. :)

We loved everything about Hotel Mistral! Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. Everyone on the staff was welcoming and very helpful. The hotel location was within walking distance to Gare Montparnasse and the Métro, in addition to many restaurants and shopping. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of hot and cold choices to start the day. I wish we could have stayed longer! Will definitely stay at Hotel Mistral next time I am in Paris!
