I booked the bike tour of Paris for my family of older teens. We were a group of 7 and the tour was just our group. We were met right on time and chose our bikes. Very comfortable and easy to ride. The route was perfect and safe. Susanna’s French history knowledge kept us all intrigued at every stop, very informative and entertaining. I’d most definitely recommend this tour to anyone and if I get the chance to go again id love to do the one in Versailles.

Easily one of my favorite experiences during a recent trip to Paris. Communication prior to the tour is top-notch, and the hosts are helpful in sharing Paris recommendations as well as finding gluten-free options for a member of the group during the tour. They take care of every detail, so all you have to do is show up and enjoy. Biking through Versailles, exploring the market, visiting the palace, and enjoying a picnic overlooking the Grand Canal was more incredible than I could have expected. Nicolas, our tour guide, is clearly well educated in the history and art of Versailles and France. His storytelling skills are above and beyond. We were enchanted, more than once, as he wove his stories. He is also a fantastic photographer and always offers to take photos, highlighting the most picturesque views. He is personable and an excellent friend for the full-day experience. When I visit Paris again, I will take this tour again. It is that fantastic! Book and enjoy. You won't regret it.

We did a bike tour of l Versailles. It was fantastic- very clear instructions on where to meet at train station. Train tickets provided to Versailles. Bicycles are in good mechanical condition and comfortable to ride, with large panniers and baskets to carry your bag. Wet weather capes provided ( it was a bit damp when we started) Our guide was a brilliant energetic storyteller and very knowledgeable on French history. She brought the experience alive for us. A tour of local markets to pick up picnic supplies and a relaxing lunch by the royal canal banks Would definitely recommend this company.

We did the full day Versailles tour and had an amazing time! Our guides (Fiona and Eleanor) gave us great historical context during our tour of the palace, but things got even better once we took our bikes out on the grounds. The picnic spot was picturesque and we were able to see parts of Versailles that very few other visitors make it to. The day was even better than we could have hoped for and the guides insured every part of the tour was relaxed. We will definitely take another Boutique Bike Tour the next time we are in Paris.

We were only in the city of Paris for 1 day, before heading to Disneyland Paris. We thought the best way to see some of the city's highlights would be to take a tour. We found that Boutique Bike Tours offered a bike tour and an evening boat tour, so really the two best ways to see Paris rolled into 1 tour! Our tour guide Eleanor was AMAZING! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and best of all, had a wicked sense of humor. It was truly a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend taking this tour, if you want to get a sense of what the city of Paris has to offer.

We did the Versailles bike tour with Nicolas on Friday. It was perfect. The weather was gorgeous, the views fantastic and the stories shared by the team brought the place to life! Biking around provided us the ability to see things (like the queens hamlet) that very few people get to experience when visiting Versailles and we did it with time to relax for a nice lunch on the grand canal. The dance in the hall of mirrors was a fun touch and I get to share the video with friends. Thanks for a wonderful tour! We highly recommend!

Our bicycle tour of Versailles was absolutely fabulous! Clara was an exceptionally knowledgeable guide and full of personality. She managed everything perfectly. We loved seeing the palace, the market, Marie’s playgrounds but my favorite was the picnic. Thank you for providing a fantastic day..

We traveled with 9 family members for my mother’s 80th birthday to France….80 y/o being the oldest and 8 y/o being the youngest. We signed up for this tour knowing it would be a great time for the teenagers and kids in our group…..and also the adults. We were grouped up with “Miguel” who was awesome. Super personal and did a great job of guiding us throughout the day. He told me at the end of the tour that he was worried about my mom (the 80 year old) and my daughter (the 8 y/o) when he first met up with us but was happy at the end of the day when we all made it in one piece. He ensured our safety every step of the way. Anyway, the tour was great. Covered a lot of ground and Miguel gave us options along the way….spend more time here….? Or go there? I think my favorite part was shopping for our lunch with my wife and daughter at the farmers market. Was a great experience. Then the setting of our picnic was amazing…..right on the canal. Versailles speaks for itself but with Miguel leading the way it was an even more memorable day. I highly advise a bike tour of Versailles. We covered so much ground in one day. If you tried to do it on foot you would need a week to see everything. Thank you so much Miguel! I appreciate all of your help with my family.

We enjoyed our day in Versailles so very much!!! Claudio was our guide and couldn’t have been better. He was so knowledgeable and such a great story teller!! We enjoyed hearing all the history of the French revolution and the stories about the Kings and wives. Everyone else from Boutique Bike Tours was so friendly and kind. BOOK THIS TOUR! One of the best parts of our Paris trip. Where do I even start. First off, it is so nice to be able to easily get into Versailles without having to deal with getting a reservation. Also the time of day you go is a lot less crowded, so a much more relaxed experience. It was awesome having Clara there to explain the history to us. She is quite knowledgable and hilarious. There is so much ground at Versailles, we would not be able to cover it without this tour. The bikes were super beneficial in this respect. The bike ride was relaxing with gorgeous views. I was smiling ear to ear the whole time! And lastly the brunch was out of this world. Clara provided high quality meats, bread, cheese and other foods. She was also super accommodating to the vegan couple also with us on the tour. Do not think twice and book this tour!

We had such a fantastic time on our tour of Versailles. It was great to have everything planned so you just are along for the ride, it made the day so seamless from start to finish. Seeing the city on bikes is the ONLY way to do it! Clara was an amazing storyteller and really brought the history of this magical place to life. Would highly recommended booking this tour!

My mom and I had an amazing time on this tour. The bikes were high-quality and well maintained, the staff was knowledgeable and kind, and the sights were of course incredible. I think the staff is the best part of this experience to highlight. Nicola and Sonali were attentive, making sure everyone was keeping pace with the ride while not allowing it to get so fast we couldn't see the sights. The guiding through the chateau at Versailles was instrumental in my enjoyment of the visit, as I would never have noticed or realized half the things Nico pointed out. On the admin side, members of our party had issues with their travel and could not attend the tour; the office staff was proactive in transferring the contact emails they used and keeping in touch with all of us while expressing sympathy for our bad luck. We were lucky to get this tour on a day the weather was 100% perfect and we were able to keep to the schedule we planned with no issues. 10/10 would recommend.

Truly outstanding! Our guide was knowledgeable and easy to understand. She was also very kind and was always looking out for us and making sure all 12 guests were safe and having a nice day. It was the perfect amount of history sprinkled in with the palace visit, palace gardens, lunch on the grand canal with the best view, and also Marie Antoinette's gardens. I haven't ridden a bike in three years but the city streets and paths were bike friendly and the bikes were cute and well maintained. Picking out our own lunch in the outdoor market was really fun to do. I recommend a small sac or backpack to more easily carry things to the picnic spot although some bikes had paniers fir storage. Id also recommend bringing your own water although you can buy some during the palace tour if you want.

Fiona was the best tour guide!! She made the day fun, interesting, and special! The bikes were a fun way to get around the town and palace grounds! There were 6 in our own group plus 4 others from around the world, and it felt like we had a great extended group with us. Fiona had a great way of storytelling and engaging the group while educating us and touring the palace, and the market was a unique and fun adventure, as well. We loved everything about it and highly recommend Boutique Bike Tours and our tour guide, Fiona!!

Visiting Versailles was definitely one of the highlights from our trip to Paris. Boutique Bikes and our guide, Claudio made our tour of Versailles easy, educational, and in my opinion the best way to see this incredible palace. We were met at the train station given clear instructions and what to anticipate for our time in Versailles. Our bikes were beautiful, well maintained and in great condition. Claudio was prepared, organized, and such a pleasure to be with. We loved the history, all the little details, and stories of Versailles, Claudio was great. We would definitely do this trip and tour again! It was worth every penny it was definitely a full and incredible day!

We had an absolutely lovely time on this tour. So great to have a guide through the palace and gardens. Riding bikes allowed us to see so much more of the area, and we loved everything about the picnic experience (especially shopping for French cheese in the market)! Fiona was a fantastic tour leader, and we really enjoyed learning from her.

This was truly a wonderful experience for my family. Our guide for the day was Daniel and he was fabulous! His knowledge of the Palace and the local area was excellent and he was able to entertain/inform us with stories around the history of the Palace and the gardens. The bikes were comfortable and it was an easy ride with very few hills. Our group was such a great group from Australia, Pennsylvania and Colorado. It was a pleasure to ride and tour with them. The owners of Boutique Bikes were awesome too ensuring we had the correct fit on our bikes! Especially relaxing was our picnic where we ate our lunch with a view of the palace along the canal. Daniel had taken us to a market where we purchased wine, cheese and baguettes for lunch. I would highly recommend this company, and Daniel, as a guide!

Our Versailles bike tour was THE highlight of our time in Paris. Our guide was Clara, a multi-generational Versailles guide who was a bundle of amazing energy and knowledge. The mix of history and fun was appreciated by the whole family and the ability to explore the larger surrounding area on bike gave a great respite from the "typical crowds". Highly recommended, topped off by a wonderful picnic.
