The airport is very secured I must say and the staff are very helpful. When I came out of the arrival lounge, I was looking around and suddenly a well-dressed gentleman approached me very politely whether I need any help. Later I figured out he was a police officer. On the departure queue, I was terribly late and about to miss the flight. The staff were annoyed but helped me through.

One of the best Airport in the world. A lot of restaurants and shopping inside the airport.

I love this airport! Especially how the souvenir and restaurant/cafe area is distributed. The doragaki I bought was so delicious too! Seems like the goods are quite well selected! Out of the airport at the monorail station, there was even a cute street piano! Worth taking a look and maybe playing :)

What a great airport; Easy to get to by Limousine Bus from Kyoto Station. I highly recommend the 魚がし寿司 sushi food place.

It’s good and modern hub airport in Kansas area! Not huge but they have enough facilities to take flight. Not only or passengers but also for everything there are many nice restaurants and shops. I like the roof observatory here. You can see good view! Recently just reformed so comfortable facility! It’s good place to access as well! Enjoy!

A very neat and tidy airport with mostly Japanese as travelers. I traveled a domestic flight to Matsuyama and everything was smooth. Staffs are capable to communicate in English.

Easy access from monorail, spotlessly clean, fast internet, plenty of electrical outlets, good range of shops and eating options.

Good airport. Facilities are clean and efficient. Aiport personnel very helpful!

There are some child-friendly facilities in the airport terminal. Nursing room is clean and quiet, and has hot water server, benches and microwave etc. You can get diapers by vending machine.

Somewhat easy to understand airport with a packed space. Lots of restaurants and shop near the arrival gate. The atmosphere is clean and tidy. It is connected to limousines bus, Osaka monorail, and of course taxis. Very crowded but still in order. Going up and down the floor, you can use the elevators located in most places here.

Terrific airport. Such amazingly helpful staff here. Only in Japan do they provide you with slippers if you are required to remove your shoes at security! There are not a lot of shops after security, but there are a few nice restaurants. There are tables and chairs at the gates for business people to do their work whilst waiting for their flight. Again, only in Japan! I wish all airports in the world would learn from the Japanese.

A mid-size airport that is very well organized with a great layout plan. Building is divided into North and South wings which clearly each wing is being operated by an airline. Waiting areas are aplenty with many different types of seats. The souvenir shops and restaurants are great and not overpriced at all so if you plan to shop for omiyake then you can shop at this airport. But no gashapon machine though, this is the only downsize that I can see here LOL. Free and fast wifi with just a click to acknowledge the terms of use! thumbs up.

Domestic Airport . Clean Busy as always . even corona is still around this place is full of passenger.

Very helpful JAL staff, nothing is ever a problem when travelling with JAL. They make visiting Japan so easy and take away any stress you might have before reaching the airport. Even at Heathrow airport JAL ground staff were on hand by the baggage claim conveyors, they helped to locate our suitcase that we thought had gone missing. My only negative was that many of the shops in the building at Itami were closed , maybe because of Covid 19 effect on buisness. Also I would have liked to have seen more seats in other areas than at the boarding gates.

Closer to Kyoto than that KIX for domestic departures/arrivals. Now it has been improved a lot, from a lame airport to an edgy hall interior. Usually I take train from Kawaramachi to Minami-Ibaraki, and continue with Osaka monorail. If your flight is with JAL, turn to the right. If it is ANA, turn to the right after exiting Itami Airport monorail station (shuten = terminal).

Clean airport with good maintenance. Simple security check that I breezed through in only 5 min. Food selection is quite decent except that you need to pay for an airport premium.
