Terrible! Terrible!! Terrible!!! Came with over 50 colleagues.. Zero electricity, water had to be waited several hours to be pumped and when it was pumped it was muddy. Air conditioning in more than half of the rooms donโ€™t work.. and we only found this out when the generator came on briefly.. They own 2 generators.. one came on briefly for about an hour, and that was it the entire night.. DO NOT VISIT INAGBE I REPEAT DO NOT VISIT.. Overpriced and mismanaged .. ( Update!!! About 60 % of the money paid to them was refunded.. ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ However they ruined the team bonding experience for me so I wonโ€™t take down this review)

The worst resort experience I have ever had. Food ran out with dozens waiting to be fed, and what was provided was greasy and tasteless. The transport to the beach was crowded and dangerous. The beach itself (and indeed, much of the resort) was covered in litter. Some of the structures lacked a roof. To add to the complete dysfunction of this place, everything is overpriced on top of the exorbitant entry fee. It was impossible to even get a simple cocktail. Save your money (they definitely won't refund you). Go elsewhere.

The resort is absolutely amazing. Even though I observe they pay little attention to maintenance. They provide brush and toothpaste, bath gel with cream and soap. They only provide one towel even if 2 people are in room. Their food tastes great but their small chops is terrible. There's swimming pool, gym and sports complex for pool, table tennis, volleyball, basketball, football etc

July-2018: This is nice place to passed leisure time. Environment is good, silence and family oriented. Resident rooms are little far from beach & they have shuttle to carry you to beach, however it closed around 8.00PM. Which will affect you if you love to see beauty of beach in midnight / late night. April-2019 : We again went this property with other families and friends. However, this time we frustrated about their service and room condition. we took Six room villa and outside of the villa was not clean. they took power for 2 hours in morning. Child paly ground was not usable at all.

I went there at the beginning of January just after the Christmas holidays and I had a great time. We boarded a boat from ikoyi which was about 30mins (I'm exactly sure how long it took us). I enjoyed every bit of the boat cruise and didn't want it to end. Well, when we arrived at the resort, the amazing staff welcomed us and made us feel relaxed and at home. Took us inside for the tour. At first glance, it was a beautiful resort. The fact that its even far away from the latos noise was perfect for me. There is a very big land space. There's a big gym for sports people... Anyways, I went to the beach and it was beautiful ๐Ÿ˜ clean and fresh. The pool was even better. This was where we spent a bulk of the aqua time. Lol The food was delicious cos it was a buffet ๐Ÿ˜‹ I enjoyed every bit of my experience at INAGBE grand resort and I'd love to visit again. My advice is that you go with friends (a very familiar group of people).

A whole resort didn't even have power...spent the whole night chasing off various insects...and damn the heat was epic. If you wanna have a pleasurable moment of been feasted upon by various insects...then inagbe is the perfect spot for that

I stayed with my wife and 3 sons for 4 days. The location of the resort is well situated on the shores of Atlantic ocean and the lagoon. The resort has a big imvestment. Unfortunately, it is not properly managed and hence looks abandaned. The food choice is so limited that we were tired of rice in 3 different ways (jollof, coconut and fried). The resort has a nice sport facilities (basket, valleyball, badmenton, football, ground tenis courts, fooseball, 2 sweeming pools, pingpon and small gym). I was asked to make a deposit. The deposit was over what i had used during my stay and hence a refund. I had to struggle to get the refund which was transfered after about a month. Generally, the management of the resort is so poor that such a big investment is not that comfortable to stay. I should however forward my thanks to some of the resort staff who tried to make our stay as comfortable as they could. My thanks to Kebir (who served us nicely) Michael (the sport man). They were so nice where we will continue to remember their names.

You know you are going on a boat right? ๐Ÿ’ protect ya wig๐Ÿ˜‚ So the two best things for me where the rooms and the food (buffet). All the activities can be done in a day I guess. There are swimming pools around the residence and at the beach. There is an indoor game hall with snooker, table tennis and other board and video games. A mini gym in the hall too. There is a basketball court, a mini soccer and volleyball court etc. The activities are kayaking, horse riding and quad bikes. All through our stay, all the quad bikes were nonfunctional. All the water activityย boats were in a rusty pile. We had to wait for too long for the attendant to come wash the kayaking boat for us ๐Ÿ˜. Kayaking in the open murky sea is scary and dangerousย without a lifeguard - we didn't get any! Our horse arrived almost when it was dark, we had to ride it like that in the darkness...with phone light๐Ÿ˜‚. The poor horse could not see well and was just walking blindly into the huts๐Ÿ˜‚. The children play area ain't well maintained either. Loads of broken plastic play equipment. Some other thing I disliked are the sporadic deposits of horse and goat dungs on the grass. The staff could use some customer experience training though. A spa will make a great addition to the services.ย Please!!! Offer free fresh coconuts on arrival! Maybe a Burn Fire Night on Fridays?? With Suya and roasted fish? For maximum fun, go with interesting folks so you can create extra fun, games and improvise when necessary...and oh, don't stay too long in the pool. Whatever they put in that water makes you 3x blacker the next day!!! In all, It's a good hideout away from the chaos of Lagos. I enjoyed my stay here.

Amazing resort You can enjoy horse riding and quad biking.. There are two swimming pools and the beach is amazingly clean. The boat ride from Ikoyi jetty took about 1hr (we took a very big boat that couldn't move fast) coming back we took a speed boat and we saved about 35 minutes.

The room was quite cozy. But the environment was pretty boring. The pool was so dirty. It took over an hour for meals to be delivered. Iโ€™ll give the food quality 5/10. The room quality 7/10.

My Company booked for a day trip to the resort to relax etc as an end of year after a very difficult and challenging year. We didn't quite make it to the resort. We booked a two engine boat, and what showed up was a one engine that looked more like a Canoe than a boat. They could have called to let us know of the changes before hand. The fact that they didn't is dissapointing . They just expect you to accept and move on. We chose to cancel. We are still waiting for our refund. Didn't get a good feeling from the conversations. Don't think i will be going back

It was fun actually, the boat ride was enjoyable even though it was a bit scary. We played beach volleyball, tug of war and some other fun games made available by the resort. No horseride but everything was okay. The beach is a bit far from the resort though.

The first thing I noticed as I came off the boat was that the jetty platform had missing hand railings and the wooden planks on some portions were weak. I visited with a group and had expected that we would have a vehicle move people to the hall which is a 3-5 min walk from the reception; this was not the case. I had huge concerns about safety of our luggage at the space assigned but thankfully, nothing was reported missing. The rooms had way too many issues; plumbing, HVAC, water leaks, doors with bad locks etc. It was shocking to realize that the rooms had no telephone to call for room service or maintenance. The size of the rooms are decent and moderately furnished but all this pales at the incessant maintenance issues that could have been easily resolved. The resort staff needs proper training on housekeeping as some rooms had no towels, used toothbrushes were in the rooms, and refuse still in the room at check-in. Some of the rooms were very stuffy and there were even roaches in the rooms. Despite receiving adequate notice and an agenda of events to aid their plans, food always arrived late and was moved to the hall in an unsafe, unhygienic manner. Certain food items tasted stale and it took a long while for plates and cutlery to arrive. After the long wait, my "omo" was exhausted sha. The staff had an air of "cannot be bothered" despite the rising frustrations from the residents. At some point, I was a waitress at an event for which we had paid for service!!! The only thing that arrived on time was your bill. It was quite ridiculous. One of the residents even had his phone stolen!!! We sha got the phone back after plenty talk. I had a terrible experience and I truly wonder how many people have endured such horrible service. Every event started late thanks to Inagbe management; imagine that air conditioning units were being installed 10 mins before the program was slated to commence. The resort suffers from proper maintenance and good management. If you'd go, your high points may be that you'd exceed your daily step goals, and have a crash course in dealing with underperforming people. For real though, save yourself the headache and stress cos I had a lot of those. Nothing relaxing about the service. Shout out to the young lady with blonde highlights on her short hair. If only they'd move her to a management role.

Won't be visiting Inagbe again. First visit was in 2015... fast forward to 2020..not one single improvement. My phone was stolen and later discovered. Breakfast was expensive for no reason.. the swimming pool had no shower place to wash off properly..they were fetching water from the swimming pool tap to give us. Play area for kids extremely rusty and dangerous....the only thing good was the AC in the room...certainly not visiting this resort ever again..

Really, if you are looking for a place to relax, chill, resuscitate, think, and for a retreat, this is a place you must consider. The fact that is in the island make it serenity worthwhile. Their service is extremely great. Their manager are very professional and respect work ethics. Their room is super great and their diner located on water is something you don't wanna miss the experience for nothing. Their 4ft swimming pool at the Atlantic fore front is another thing you wanna try. The security department is highly effective. If you are thinking about hanging out for more than a day, you should consider it.

Consumer quest service is awesome and some activities like private safe walks to thevbeach front with reasonable quietness around it. The food and drink is great. Rooms arecokay but more can still be done in that regard. Cost of all thses great services are way avoidable than expected. INAGBE GRAND AND LEISURE RESORT IS A GREAT PLACE TO VISIT AND STAY.

The resort is a quiet and serene environment, with adequate security. It is located at Snake Island in Lagos, surrounded by water, Lagos lagoon at one side and Atlantic ocean at the other side. They have a very nice lodge named after different States in Nigeria. They also have Lawn tennis court, a gym with various equipment and board games. There conference hall is also okay, it has capacity to accommodate quite number of people. They have 2 pools, one by the floating restaurant and the other at the beach side. Their food taste nice except the spoilt fish. Their drinks and buffet is very expensive. Some of their staff were professional, will some were hostile. I enjoyed the sessions with the gym instructor.

From my first experience, it's a nice resort to to enjoy a relaxing vacation, hold company retreats, game tournaments etc. The beach is good for night relaxation and parties. Once lodged in, a lodger gets access to all available facilities. The game centre has spaces dedicated for video games (with wide screens), table tennis and snooker. It has equipments and general spaces for lawn tennis, football, basketball. A dedicated gym facility is also situated at the game. Well equipped with treadmills, a full range of dumbbells, barbells, workout chairs etc. There are two swimming pools, one at the resort, the other at the beach. There's a large playground with some swings at the centre, which would be very good for children in terms of entertainment, excercise, and open-air experiences. There's a very condusive, air-conditioned and equipped board room with a marker board, markers, sketch pads, jotters, pens, projector, projector board, a long conference table and executive chairs. Indoor celebrations can be held at the big hall with a buffet service.

You'll lose your way strolling to the beach (can be fun). Couple of animals and some nice views. Staff are super friendly and cooperative. Lighting is cool. Pool side seemed nice. Some facilities don't function, check if toilet and air-conditioning are in great shape. You might want to open the tap to see that the water is clean. Nice for private trips. The space and beach is the catch.

Except for the beautiful beach view we didn't enjoy anything... For starters, some rooms don't even have a door for the bathroom, the food...well, most of the food we tried to order that was written on the menu was not available... Since we had some bread we brought from home we survived our that throughout our stay...Pool is poorly maintained and not clean...charges for every single thing...really disappointing service and very overpriced at the same time It was my worst beach experience that I've had....I did not enjoy the place... But if you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the views... the beach view is amazing!!!

Oh so much potential, but fails to deliver. It is the challenge of the inability to manage and maintain a large 'resort'. I use that word loosely. From pick to arrival everything went array. Service was diabolical we were to spend 4 nights but checked out after 1. Nothing worked as it should. Only the natural element of the beach was nice to experience everything else....utter let down.

  • 4/5 Vikram P. 2 years ago on Google
Good greenery compared with other best resorts. Employees/waiters are hospitable and friendly. Sunrise and Sunset is most beautiful moment at the beach. Do carry bug spray. Kids play area was not well maintained. Rooms are good and well maintained. Water supply was stopped for 2 hours due to some technical issue.

Great resort with a beach, children playground, a volleyball court, a swimming pool and lots more! I was really excited to see fast moving crabs on the beach, and they get washed away from time to time by the waves of the sea.

If good food is important to you avoid this resort, imagine calling dinner a buffet but they charge you separately for water, so many unnecessary undue charges then how do you see the meals rubbish! Rubbish!! Rubbish!!!Theyโ€™re not family friendly, they had no chair for my baby to sit and eat comfortably. And again their food belong in the thrash, room is not clean their service is generally bad except the front desk. Avoid this place I donโ€™t recommend!!!

The boat cruise to the resort was scary my son cried thru out. Once we got in all he wanted was to play and swim. They have horse riding, kids play ground, pool, awesome view, beach. Very expensive doe the cheapest room is about #45000. But a great place to chill with the family

Inagbe is not well kempt. It's falling apart. The only thing I enjoyed was the food and the boat ride. It definitely didn't live up to the hype. I was underwhelmed. Oh, my room key could open other rooms, we discovered this after we entered a room we thought was ours, only to find out it wasn't. I wouldn't be going back here.

This beautiful resort is a hidden paradise located on Inagbe Island, which is about 15mins boat ride from Ikoyi, thinking of the perfect getaway adventure, away from the shackles of reality. Inagbe Resorts presents you with pure charm and tranquillity, this beautiful landmark gives you more than just sand, sun and sea. With a full storehouse of fun activities, lively entertainment and genuine hospitality,

Great place, lots of lovely games for all the family. Great beach fronts and friendly staff. The boat cruise is awesome however the water is got some smell. Apart from that you have good rooms and lovely lagoon front seat outs.

Wow.....After recommending Inagbe to friends and Clients (As an Event Planner) My husband, my two teenage children and another family of 4, finally went and from the boat ride it was all maximum FUN. The food was delicious, the ambiance , the cool breeze and wind but most of all, the rooms were spacious, cozy and neat. We love every single minute of the days we spent here. Inagbe is indeed the best place to be.

We had an event here and it was a disaster because the hotel management staff are too laid back. The hall was not arranged when required, the projector and public address system were not working properly, the food for people were delayed by over an hour (not once). Despite the complaints to management, they never showed any empathy, no apologies, and they were just bent on collecting corkage for the extra drinks we brought from outside. For small chops pack which we ordered, the price was ridiculous. They charged N4,500 per pack but guess what was inside - 3 pieces of puff puff, 1 piece of samosa and 1 piece of spring roll - no exaggeration. All of these were soaked in oil and soggy. I have a lot to say but I will summarize it by saying that I will never go to this hotel again.

Place is nice but no maintenance, no any good service, they charge for everything but no appropriate facilities are given which they already charged. If you are planning to go take each and everything food items what you want because they have nothing to serve you better.. Going this place is not worth..
