We
came
on
the
1st
of
January
to
play
a
round
of
golf
(
the
hotel
is
promoting
as
golf
and
resort)
and
to
have
lunch
or
dinner
at
the
hotel
premises.
When
we
walked
in,
and
we
asked
the
receptionist
(
Larissa),
she
didn't
know
if
the
golf
course
was
open
(
she
called
to
find
out!!!)
and
she
told
us
that
we
weren't
allowed
to
go
to
the
restaurant
either
as
it
was
reserved
only
for
guests
of
the
hotel!!!!.
We
asked
if
the
hotel
is
"pet
friendly."
which
means
if
they
accept
animals,
and
she
told
us
that
yes,
the
hotel
is
pet
friendly,
but
when
we
mentioned
that
we
have
a
cat,
the
receptionist
said
the
term
"pet
friendly"
doesn't
include
cats!!!
Absolutely
ridiculous!!!
Very
unprofessional
and
sloppy
customer
service;
it
seemed
like
they
had
zero
training.
Everyone
was
guessing,
and
we
felt
that
nobody
was
there
to
work
but
to
ensure
they
would
not
have
more
workload,
so
they
focused
on
sending
customers
away—a
very
disappointing
experience
from
a
Novotel.
