I must say approaching this hotel my expectations were low but my word was I wrong to judge. The outside of this hotel doesn't look as modern as other but the inside is well worth the money. The inside rooms were looked freshly renovated and it's looks like a modern studio apartment with a fridge, microwave, table, desk, flat screen tv, comfortable bed, soap, toothbrushes provided for the bathroom. The floors were carpet and I could manually set the temperature of the living space and where the bed was placed. There are sliding doors that separate the main area from the bedroom and a sliding door for the bathroom. The customer service was great day and night. And when making payment the option for email receipt instead of paper is recommended and available. The hotel is also right by the MCX store which is a pretty big size along with navy fed, softbank and other offices located on that same strip. There was also a burger food truck that parked outside of the MCX at night which was extremely convenient. Overall I highly recommend to all!

Typical DoD lodging. Looks like it was built in the 90s and hasn't been updated since. Staff is really friendly and they keep it keep and well maintained. The main building is where I've stayed twice. Room was large and a suite with a separate living space. Full size bed would make it hard for two to sleep in it comfortably if on vacation or pcsing. Laundry on site for free. Very convenient to commissary and exchange. Lots of parking. 30 min cab ride from shin-iwakuni and 10 mins from Iwakuni station.

Staff is super friendly. Rooms are a little old and need a little updating. All the rooms had dehumidifier, which I have to empty twice a day. Mine did not when I checked in. After the 2nd week of being here I the super awesome staff placed one in my room. Bed is super comfy, shower instantly gets scolding hot when the room next door flushes the toilet.

The building and rooms are definitely dated but are in good condition. Excellent walkable location with the Commissary and O/E Clubs adjacent. Friendly staff, full suite style rooms with full kitchens and living rooms. High pressure water in the shower and sinks. Great AC. Cable TV. Quiet. Great place to stay on a deployment. Largest on-base accommodations I've ever stayed in. Friendly and helpful staff!

The friendly staff fails to make up for some of the shortcomings at this facility: climate control is locked and leaves rooms feeling damp in the summer and the internet connection is too slow to facilitate communicating via audio or video. Rooms have a decent amount of space and breakfast is included with your stay. For less money, I recommend staying at the Kintai Inn if you have the option. PCSing families are not given that option unless the TLF is full.

A simple place to stay when in Iwakuni. You have to try to get into the Inn of the Corps and when they are full this is where you get sent to.

Nice rooms. Nicer than some Air Force lodging I've been to. Within spitting distance of the commissary and MPX which was convenient. Only complaints were there was nowhere convenient to plug in my phone charger and the bed only had one awkwardly small uncomfortable pillow.

Very nice spacious rooms. Very inexpensive but you need funded tad orders or dts authorization to qualify for a room. Convenient location less than 5min walk to Movie Theater, Marine Corps exchange, commissary and food court.

Amazing room with very nice beds and space. Microwave, stovetop, pots and pans and plates glasses utensils. I am very glad to be here.

I personally like staying at the Kintai Inn. Staff is friendly & helpful. The only complaint is that housekeeping is not consistent when they show up. They want to clean your room daily & show up at all hours of the morning/afternoon. Be sure to use the "do not disturb" sign if you do not want to be bothered. In fairness, the housekeeping department is short staffed. Again, I have enjoyed both times I have stayed at the Kintai Inn.

Service was great, and its centrally located on base. The rooms are clean and organized, just very old. Also, there were some stains on the carpet.

Typical military hotel room. Nothing special but staff is great and price is reasonable.

Great hotel in a great location. Next to the PX and commissary so you can buy what you what need. Rooms have a kitchenette so you can cook your own food. Rooms are clean and well kept. I highly recommend this hotel if near the area.

Good central location, really nice staff. The room I had didn't look anything like the ones posted by others but I was in the annex building fwiw. I've seen worse military hotels but I've also seen better.
