Ordered 34 AED Tandoori biriyani and what I got is 2 very small size burnt chicken pieces not even having the size of an egg. Called them for complaining but they are not even responding properly.

I dont know what to say...Had ordered Biryani worth AED 70...the rice was sticky..had food poison (severe that lasted for 3 days) to the entire people who had it. When addressed the staff showed utter arrogance! Will never order, though I like the taste of their Biryani 😵‍💫 Had their Masala Dosa also once and that tasted awful....

Very bad customer service, the person at the reception desk was very harsh. I ordered fish biryani but there were only 4 small pcs of fish, I was ok but the price they charge for it was 28dirhams which is unacceptable. It's the same biryani for egg, chicken or mutton. My kind advise Please don't order fish biryani at anjapar

Disappointed is an understatement. There was a cockroach in my chicken biryani. Luckily I noticed it else I would have eaten it!! Called the restaurant to report it, the staff was apologetic and they offered to send more biryani - of course we declined. First time to order and definitely the last! Never again.

Pros-Great spicy and hot food. Less crowded and close to metro. Parking available behind restaurant. Cons-Starters are delivered after main course meal 😂

Amazing experience every time! Wonderful, fresh, authentic Indian at the most reasonable prices. We always eat too much but we can’t help it! Food is wonderful! Service is excellent. We always feel so welcome here. Highly recommend

I ordered the mutton Sukka biryaniii and is not upto the mark even though the price was not bad

This is my second visit to this restaurant in about a months time and im dissppointed already and i take back the review that i posted earlier. They served biryani in seeraga samba rice last time and it was good and this time it was in basmati rice. The mutton biryani looked and tasted old. The inconsistency is something to be worrid upon. Well well !! Lets talk about the hygiene part, the restroom was a mess and definitely not to a restaurants standard at all. Hope the management takes hygiene on priority.

I ordered food today and specifically asked if they can deliver with in 1 hour as I was heading out for work. They promised to deliver within 1 hour. When I tried to contact them after one hour they said it will be delivered shortly I waited another 20 min and kept following up with them 4-5 times but guess what they didn't care to check with driver or give estimated time for delivery. I had to leave to work on empty stomach. I understand that delivering food could be delayed some times but can't accept that they didn't even care much to provide an update or apologize for this delay. They didn't ask sorry for this situation or ever tried to deliver. They didn't even contact me atleast to inform and apologize. Very bad attitude and worst service.

Ordered chicken biryani, mutton biryani and chicken lollipop. While the chicken biryani was okyish, the mutton served was cold - they didn't bother to heat it. The lollipop was hot, soft , but flavourless with almost no salt. The service was fast. The place was clean and smelling wonderful with agarbattis. I won't be visiting again.

Good food and taste feel like an traditional tamilnadu briyani. I loved the service. They are so polite.

Usually, I don't like to provide any reviews to any business but this review is from my frustration as I took a few family members for a special occasion dinner at this restaurant and it made that special day as a never forgettable worst day. Worst Experience in a recent visit. They are prioritizing more home delivery than people dine in their restaurant. Each item takes at least 15 to 20 mins to reach your table and most of the items are not available within few hours after Open their restaurant. Less Menu Items. Poor customer care. Expensive

Good spicy Chettinad food. Loads of options. Idly, Chicken Biryani and Kothu Parotta are a must try. The Parotta combo is also tasty. The lemon mint cooler is also a great choice. Prices are affordable and the staff is friendly.

Food is really good.. try their signature Moru Moru chicken and elaneer payasam..

First visit to this restaurant, enjoyed all the dishes. Especially fish tawa fry was brilliant. Would highly recommend. Our empty food plates show how much we loved.

Went their first time in Dubai because of the previous good experience of going to Anjappar earlier in India. It was a very disappointing experience, it was a total waste of money. Biriyani was horrible, one of the worst chettinadu Biriyani i have ever had neighther they did not have seragasala rice biriyani, it was looking very dry and the taste was pathetic, both mutton and chicken biriyani .Anjappar is known for delicacies, but none of it i asked for was available in this branch. To top that up one of the dish i ordered never arrived. But in the bill it was included when i accidentally noticed it and highlighted it, then they too 10 mins of enquiry in the kitchen to confirm the fact before they accepted that it was their mistake.

I am visiting this restaurant regularly affordable and staff are very friendly. I have been regularly served by Mr. Senthil a very polite and calm guy. I would recommend everyone to visit this restaurant. Update 2: The food is great staff is friendly the quantity and quality of food is good. I would suggest everyone to visit this restaurant

If you have a vegetarian in your group, do NOT go here! They have a tendency to just not mention if any of the dishes you order has meat in it or not. The staff had the courtesy to strike off that one dish when we were so annoyed and decided to leave. But still it ruined our appetite. Visit Godavari instead, just few hundred meters away and infinitely better in every aspect!

I visited Anjappar restaurant at the Gardens on the eve of Diwali. I ordered Diwali special dishes such as mutton Nalli briyani, Deer meat masala and chicken 65. The taste was really awesome. Particularly the briyani made from Jeera sambha rice in Thonnai style was so delicious. A good choice for a family lunch and get together. Keep it up.. cheers.. The service was also good.

Quality is ok, but less quantity, I ordered three different breakfast items , but they provided sambhar and chutney for just one item only.

The food is ok and is in tamizh style. I tried many things but always go and eat even though it can take some time. It's better to go and eat rather than ordering Also do try the mutton biryani and bun parotta

Quantity was very low of mutton curry, Their hospitality has rapidly plummeted when they receive new customers. It's not a recommended to right place for those who would like to while the evening away for dinner. Overall we had disappointed. Cheers ..👍🏻

Don’t like to go there based on your experience in india. Because here serving food speed is very very slow (ordered biriyani took 40 minutes to serve asking mutton nalli roast with porota its took again 40 minutes), taste is not same like india, and the price very very high ( 1 chicken biriyani 30 AED and if u want extra rice u have to pay extra money) very bad experience.

Preference is for online food delivery companies only. For dine in and take out the food, this is not the right place. It took 50 mins to pack one south Indian veg meal and mutton briyani.. I asked them several times, but the response was they have less number of guys for packing the food. It's not a customer problem, if you have less guys to do the work. This is not the first time it's happening. The person at the billing counter was not bothered about the delay at all.. If u screw up with taste, it's understandable and happens everywhere..this kind of irresponsible behaviour will not be tolerated by anyone..

Of all the variety of dishes, we loved the Madurai Parotta! A must try 👌 We had coin and ceylon parottas as well, plus Chettinad Chicken Masala and Anjappar Chicken Dry.
