My fiancé said, between bites of Tandoori chicken: “This.Is.Really.Really.Good.” He couldn’t even come up for air! My vegetable Chettinad curry was also amazing. Even though I normally can’t handle spicy foods, the seasoning was so well executed that I loved it! I’m such a wuss though, as the spicy level of that dish is a 2. So keep that in mind! The menu gives you all the information you could need: spicy-ness level, gluten-free, vegan or vegetarian. That was SO helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to see that ALL the curry sauces are gluten-free! When the food was delivered, they told us to ask if we needed more rice. I think that’s the first time a restaurant has ever offered before you had to ask- which I feel weird about doing. So that was a nice touch.

This review is purely based on the quality of food. As an Indian, I must say that I am disappointed with the quality of food. I did expect the food to be better but it just felt like the food that was cooked wasn't cooked with flavors meshing well but just for the sake of cooking and some spices were added later to give it some taste. It did not taste like an authentic Indian food. Not recommended

Best Indian food in America I have ever had. Excellent service. Full bar. Highly recommend this place. Flavors are on point. Generous portions.

Beyond tasty. I would definitely recommend ordering many different things the first time you come, but once you have a hang of what you prefer ordering you can’t really go wrong with the dishes. The Saag curry tasted so refreshing and the Korma curry had some of the greatest depth of flavor I’ve ever tasted in a curry. Service was great and the spot is understandably popular too, so plan your visit accordingly!!

I’ve drove past this place a million times and always wanted to try it. Started with the cheese nann which was probably the best nann I’ve ever had. Equal cheese to nann ration with a touch a sweetness to finish. For my main I had the classic butter chicken which brings us to the 4 stars. Basmati rice was standard and great, the butter chicken had an amazing traditional flavor but the quality of chicken was ok, where great pieces but a couple pieces I had to remove into a napkin but overall enjoyed the meal and experience. Would definitely come back and try more of the menu

Amazing flavor, great atmosphere, relaxing environment and truly a great place to eat and enjoy. The curry was maybe the best one I have had in yrs. I recommend that you come and see the gem hidden in Jax beach. Jaxspice worth the trip.

If you are visiting the beach and craving Indian food then you found the right place. I found parking an issue but it’s not that bad. Place is very nice inside but food quality was OK. After trying other places I can’t give this place more than 3.5 stars for the food and service. I won’t go out of my way to eat here though. It’s a South Indian place so spices are accordingly.

The best Indian food I have Eaten in a very long time! I ordered the Kadhai with tilapia, a rich, hearty warm curry (chocked full of peppers, onions and tomatoes), with a heat level of 5. We also ordered the Butter chicken (heat level 1), flavorful & tangy perfect over a bed of sticky basmati rice. Was warned that the heat levels are hotter than most Indian restaurants, with one being mild and six being the hottest. I went with a five (with a side of six), which made my eyelids sweat and my face feel flushed. It was amazing! A glass of Merlot went perfectly with this delicious meal, as well as our final dessert, a cool, sweet dish of coconut kheer. Chris was a very personable & attentive host, and was also very informative as he answered our various questions. Overall, the best Indian food I have ever experienced anywhere! We will most definitely be back!

I must preface this by saying, I love Indian food so I'm biased when it comes to all Indian restaurants. The food was amazing and extremely fresh. We came after going to Deck the Chairs and accidently ran into the pep rally they had for Notre Dame. For the amount of out of towners that were there, we were sat relatively fast and promptly. The staff was amazing and friendly and the owner checked up on everything. I will also say the best part about JaxSpice is that the drinks were exceptional. This whole holiday season I had been looking for some quality cocktails and I finally found it at JaxSpice.

We came here for my boyfriend’s birthday, and we had a great time! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very nice, but our waitress, Ally, made our entire experience memorable. She is the best waitress that we have ever had in all of Jacksonville. She was pleasant as soon as we walked through the door, and she was incredibly helpful navigating the menu and ensuring our meals were fully vegan. Ally has a wonderful personality, and we could tell that she was being her authentic self with us. We live on the Westside, but we will be sure to make a trip out here!

Sat at the bar Saturday night and Taylor was our bartender. She was insanely nice and helpful since I’ve never eaten Indian food before. Martini was great and bar seemed really clean and comfortable. Will be back soon!!

Excellent taste and flavors galore. The ambiance is inviting, while the staff is welcoming. Their food has great portions for sharing or enough to take some leftovers. The bread is so delicious and a complement to any meal. Our meals were so delicious and can’t wait to return.

My recent dining experience at JaxSpice was made truly exceptional by the exceptional server, Ali. Her warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for the evening, making us feel like cherished guests. Aisha's extensive knowledge of the menu allowed her to recommend the most delectable dishes, which were an absolute delight to the taste buds. Throughout the meal, Ali's attentiveness and genuine care for our dining pleasure were evident. She ensured that our drink glasses were never empty and that each course was served promptly and flawlessly. Her cheerful presence added to the overall ambiance of the restaurant, making the evening even more enjoyable. The restaurant's outstanding cuisine was further enhanced by Ali's exceptional service. Her passion for the food and culture shone through as she shared interesting insights about the dishes and assisted us in making the best choices for everyone's pallets. With her impeccable timing and attention to detail, Ali made our dining experience truly memorable. I would highly recommend JaxSpice to anyone seeking an unforgettable culinary journey served with a smile with Jacksonville, FL!

I’ve never had Indian food and I was told to try Jax Spice and it did not disappoint! It was delicious, fast and fresh. It’s important to note that the lamb was perfectly cooked and delicious. My server Taylor was quick, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was very cute but it was rather hot, especially when eating spicy food. But I will be returning. Would give this a 10/10 stars if I could.

I had best Lamb Chop ever. Gobi Manchurian, chicken tandoori was very tasty. Excellent customer service received. Travelled from Colorado after more than five years and experienced a extremely tasty foods while watching Super-bowl 2022. Best Nepalese Indian foods ever had till now.

Best Indian food in Jax hands down! Service is always friendly and drinks are always good. Try the gobi Manchurian appetizer!! It’s the bomb! Love the new iPads menu. Can’t order from them but you get to see everything they have.

As a South Asian myself, I was coming into this restaurant with a hope to find some good authentic food. It was absolutely amazing, from the food to the service! My boyfriend and I got some popular cocktails along with the famous samosas and chicken tikka masala. Both were delicious and it makes this a "cravings" restaurant for some filling amazing food. A recent update was that they had tablet menus, which was so convenient. It's definitely a step-up and a must try Indian restaurant when you're in Jacksonville!

Wow!! All I can say is WOW! My husband and I went out on a date night here and absolutely loved it! My husband got paneer biryani level 6 spice....he likes it spicy! He absolutely loved it. I got the aloo channa. Oh my goodness, cooked perfectly! We also got garlic naan. Our waiter, Myah was awesome. We will definitely be back & I highly recommend!

Not a big reviewing person, but I will say I felt it to be appropriate this time around every time me and my boyfriend have visited. We have been nothing but 100% satisfied not only with how amazing the food is but as well as the service the last two times we’ve been we sat at the bar on our date night and we had Taylor as our bartender, she was very fast accommodating with anything we asked for as well as very helpful with recommendations. Good conversation great service in the atmosphere is perfect for a date night with your significant other. I highly recommend the butter chicken or the chicken biryani. We will be back.

Best Indian food in Jacksonville, hands down. Definitely my favorite place to go for date night in St Johns. Try the gobi Manchurian as a starter. Biryani and curry selections are unbeatable with the options and combinations. You also get to customize your spice level on every dish. Generous portions as well. Really impressive. Super cool place. Also right off the 95 exit so you can stop by if you’re traveling like my family was.

I couldn't waste my time taking a pretty picture of this delicious food, it's too good to break for photo-ops. We leave here satisfied every time. The lentils, coconut curry, cheese/garlic naan, everything is amazing!!! Go here and get the spicy margarita!!!

My family's go to place when we are craving naan, roti, samosas, chicken curry, butter chicken, chicken saag and goat curry. Very flavorful dishes, great portions with enough to bring home for another meal, and so delicious. My daughter is home from college and one of the first things she said after coming home... I'm craving JaxSpice.

Great food, atmosphere, and drinks! Great Indian food and great for beginners who don’t normally eat Indian food! I’ve dined there numerous times and also hosted a post wedding brunch for 50 people there and it was the best! The staff is so friendly, caring, and made the brunch so special! The food was delicious too! Highly recommend this place for dining and small parties!

was an absolutely incredible experience! Chris, our server, expertly guided us though the menu from beer to food to cocktails. Even the owner served us our food and wished blessings upon us for our upcoming marriage and gave us great advice as a man who has been married for 40 years. We have not even one remotely bad thing to say about the entire restaurant. The drinks, food, authenticity, and experience as a whole are next to none. We will be returning often!

Awesome place. Second time being here and we’ve had the same server, Pat. He is knowledgeable and attentive. The food has been consistently good and the portions big, worth the money. We left with boxes each time. The cocktails are creative, really yummy. They have a vast selection of wine as well. I’d recommend this to everyone with a craving for Indian food! Can’t wait to come back. Thank you!

100% hands down the best Indian food I've ever tasted. The staff are super nice and the portions are very generous. The food is high quality and worth every penny. I love taking my friends here and enjoying the atmosphere and winding down with a delicious meal. 10/10, highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. I'm usually a picky eater but everything I've had on the menu is delicious and made me happy to step out of my comfort zone. Another really nice part of the dining experience here is you can choose your spice level! I usually stick with a 4, but the staff have always been happy to accommodate. Love this restaurant!!! Keep up the amazing work!
