The
minute
we
walked
through
the
doors
we
knew
we
were
in
for
a
treat.
The
pictures
online
are
great
but
to
be
there
in
person
is
a
real
experience.
The
sunlight
was
bleeding
through
the
stained
glass
windows
bathing
the
lobby
in
brilliant
colour...
screaming
at
us
'Welcome
to
Jaipur!'
We
were
greeted
by
the
host
Amyt,
the
creator
of
this
unique
boutique
residence.
The
eclectic
furntiure
and
design
looked
like
it
was
straight
out
of
the
pages
of
Vogue.
We
were
taken
to
the
Golden
Elephant
suite,
a
large
room
with
high
ceilings.
Full
of
unique
pieces
and
character.
The
large
bed
with
crisp
linens
aided
two
wonderful
nights
sleep.
The
textures
and
fabrics
in
the
room
felt
incredibly
luxurious.
The
room
had
all
of
the
modern
amenities
you'd
expect
to
find
for
a
comfortable
stay.
Bottled
water,
kettle,
hairdryer,
safe,
a
basket
full
of
delicious
treats
and
a
heater
to
keep
out
the
chills
of
a
January
evening.
Our
stay
was
a
short
2
nights.
Amyt
and
his
wonderful
wife
Ujwala
were
the
perfect
hosts.
We
had
a
list
of
places
that
we
wanted
to
visit
during
our
short
stay.
Amyt
helped
us
put
together
an
itinerary
to
make
sure
we
could
see
as
much
as
possible,
helping
organise
our
transport
suggesting
places
of
interest
that
he
thought
we
would
like.
Our
busy
schedule
meant
we
were
returning
to
the
Royal
Hermitage
tired
but
elated
from
what
we
had
seen.
Sagar,
the
Head
Chef
hard
at
work
preparing
our
evening
meal.
The
smell
from
the
kitchen
meant
quick
showers
before
sitting
down
for
a
banquet
of
vegetarian
food.
Paneer
curries,
dal,
aloo
ghobi,
lady
fingers,
fluffy
rice
and
hot
fresh
roti...
incredible!
Waking
in
the
mornings
to
Sagar
bring
us
hot
coffee
we
were
able
to
sample
on
our
two
mornings,
breakfasts
of
eggs
and
the
lighest,
crispest
dosa
and
the
softest
spongy
Idli.
Served
with
fresh
coffee,
squeezed
fruit
juice
and
plates
of
fruit.
Delicious!
We
were
sad
to
leave
this
little
paradise
making
way
for
the
new
guests
that
were
arriving.
The
hospitality
shown
to
us
by
Amyt,
Ujwala
and
TRH
team
made
us
feel
like
part
of
the
family.
There
is
so
much
more
to
see
in
this
wonderful
city
I
would
book
here
again
without
hesitation.
The
location
of
TRH
is
great,
a
short
15
minutes
tuk
tuk
ride
from
the
walls
of
the
Pink
City
old
town,
and
walking
distance
from
central
park
area
of
Jaipur
with
all
that
has
to
offer.
The
gardens
of
Barwara
House
are
an
oasis
of
calm,
leading
to
this
true
jewel
of
a
hotel.
Amyt
and
Ujwala
have
done
an
incredible
job
here.
I
would
not
hesitate
to
book
here
again.
It
was
a
highlight
of
our
visit
to
Jaipur.
Thank
you
to
all
The
Royal
Hermitage
team.
