Beautiful place and building. Most interesting and beautiful artwork and carvings of Ganesh in various different and beautiful gemstones. I was lucky enough to be shown round by the owner who took time in explaining everything to me. Amazing gems of exceptional quality and crafted by highly skilled artists. They are restoring the whole building in traditional style and it looks stunning. Great photo opportunities! There is also a shop where you can buy gems and jewellery. Thank you I had a great time! 😊

Well maintained and presented private collection of gemstone statues of Lord Ganesha and more subjects, rather than a proper "museum", located inside a charming old property. Entrance is through a jewellery shop, charge is 200,- rupees. Owner will show you around describing the pieces and family acquisitions.

We went looking for some jewellery and ended up getting an experience. The jewels are amazingly beautiful with service to match. Excellent value for money. Then we were taken on the tour of the Ganesh Museum. The workmanship in the dozen or so carved statues is something to be seen. The whole complex is something else. Don’t miss out on this experience when in Jaipur. Thanks

This Temple of fine art as I would like to call it is unique in every sense of it. The natural gemstone sculptures of Lord Ganesha reflect brilliant workmanship and precise detailing and I am sure you will be awe striken. For the art lovers who are looking for fantabulous imaginative paintings of ektanta this place is a must visit one. Also there is a great collection of imitation jewellery comprising of pearls and gemstones. Me and my family had a great time at this place. Mr. Bhargava is one hell of a host!! Kudos to him for the passion that he has for his work!!

Incredible collection of Ganesh! Amazing variations of sizes, styles and material. There is also a View Point & an Art Gallery show casing the best crafts of India. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful making it a refreshing experience in the middle of the busy Pink City. A lovely place to go!

While touring the main pink city, this museum popped up on Google Maps. It immediately caught my attention. The same evening I crossed the museum building from outside on my way to Nahargarh Fort, the heritage building looked magnificent with all the lights lit up. Standing tall and gorgeous, the white color of the building really made it stand out. Next day I decided to pay a visit to the museum which captured my attention so deeply. I was taken aback in surprise! I was expecting only a museum, but it was so much more! From outside they have few shops at the entrance and it doesn’t look like there will be much, but boy you’ll be surprised! The Heritage building which locals refer as “Haveli” was so captivating! Bearing similar aesthetics as the City Palace of Jaipur, it has been marvelously restored. The owner of the building has paid attention to each tiny corner. While touring the building I saw painters restoring age-old frescos and saw workers restoring old architecture with minute details. A sight which is so rare these days! The museum and its life-size Ganesha pieces are definitely worth a visit! If you’re in Jaipur or plan a visit, you must visit the Museum! I took the whole building tour, but if you don’t have the time to visit the whole building (which I highly recommend), you must visit the museum at least! I learned so much during my tour of the museum and the building! From the origin of various gemstones to how they are carved to the amazing architecture and art of Jaipur city! They also have a gemstone manufacturing unit on sight, where I saw the process first hand and my mind was blown! The in house artist, he makes such magnificent paintings of Ganesha and all other gods. At first, they look they were printed, they look that perfect! Upon closer look, you can see the amazing strokes of the artist. A small in house jewelry repair and manufacturing unit showed how they convert the manufactured stone into jewelry! It really is as mesmerizing as it sounds! The whole building is a package! I would definitely recommend you take some time out and visit the building. After the whole grand tour of the building, you definitely need a spot to respire. And they have that too! A small home like café set up facing the busy street of Jaipur. You can sit back and enjoy their range of herbal teas (served hot and cold) while gazing at the Aravalli’s, the Nahargarh fort and the town in general. Which reminds me of the rooftop view! The rooftop view is unparalleled to anything in the four-walled city of Jaipur! A 360-degree bird's eye view of the whole city! I could spot all most all the tourist attractions from there! It was so cool! Especially during sunset! If you manage to get there just in time, you’ll definitely catch one of the best sunsets in the city from their rooftop. And if you stay a little longer, you’ll see the city come to light at night. From the forts to the streets, everything lights up and how! My visit and time at the city were one of my best decisions in Jaipur. I couldn’t be gladder for having done that tour. I would absolutely recommend a visit!

Incredible carvings made from beautiful gemstones. Karin gave us a great tour, and told us about the Hindu deity Ganesha, and father Shiva, and mother Parvati. He explained the symbology painted on the sculptures as well. Everything was carved from enormous gemstones of all kinds, and painted in gold and bright colours. A stunning collection in a lovely building!

Amazing collection of large Ganesh statues carved from gemstones and beautifully painted. Also many very nice paintings. We loved the building- the restoration is fantastic, and Divya was an excellent guide. Best visit of our day.
