This box has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, it's been 4 months since I've joined but the professional coaching as well as the motivation the members bring has made me so much stronger physically and mentally. Really recommend for anyone that is looking for a fun community to get in shape with, your age, background, physical ability doesn't matter:)

I just joined this box and my first impression was very positive. I come from the States and was looking for a foreign friendly box. One of the owners "Cap" is American and super chill and friendly. The Japanese staff is also very friendly and attentive of you. The wod area is big for Tokyo standards, so you can enjoy with no issues. Finally the APP for schedules and reservations is the best I've seen in the market. Totally recommend Crossfit Heart & Beauty 👍

The first impression, I was lucky enough to have met Reebok Master Trainer: Nicholas Pettas for my consultation appointment, and he explained to me what is CrossFit and how it can help me to improve my life mentally and physically, and on the spot, I have made the decision to sign up for the premium membership. By CrossFit L3 trainer: Christian Mathias, the registration process was one of the smoothest registering methods that I have ever experienced in any gym in Tokyo. Coach Christian helped me to fill up the application. Moreover, he helped me download the Wodify App that very CrossFit members can use to reserve classes and monitor their progress. After that, he signs me up for the three beginner classes with the coach: Tsukasa Chiba; she was very patient with me and made sure that I know how to use every machine in the Box. Furthermore, she made sure that the most critical aspect of CrossFit training is safety is above all. Joining the first CrossFit group workout, with CrossFit L2 trainer coach ETIENNE DORE and CrossFit L2 trainer LUKE SIERRA, both coaches are the best. They pay attention to every member during the workout. They make sure that the members do not hurt themselves or go above their physical capability to above any injuries. More importantly, during both of the coach's classes, I did not get bored; I became more motivated with every moment. In conclusion, sometimes people regret joining a typical sports gym or a CrossFit Box. However, I know that I have made the most beneficial decision. By joining CrossFit Heat & Beauty, I highly encourage you to take the first step and book your consultation with any of the coaches because you will not regret coming to the Box. It will be an extraordinary journey of your life.

My husband and I dropped into Heart & Beauty while on vacation, and we had a great time. It was really easy to reserve a spot online. The gym was easy to find, and everyone was really welcoming. Coach Nic went over the workout in English and Japanese. He did a great job of offering different scaling options, and I loved the advice he gave for the skills section. I'd definitely recommend this box for anyone looking for a good workout while you're in Tokyo.

We joined Reebok CrossFit Heart & Beauty when we first moved to Japan in July 2019 and are so thankful to have a large and clean workout space nearby. We started CrossFit back in 2011 and realize how lucky we are to have such a great box close to our home. The box has made numerous updates to the facility since we joined (a redesigned workout space, new Concept2 rowers and UV-C lighting for COVID first come to mind) and the coaching is what we grew to expect coming from a well-known CrossFit box in the US. Almost all the coaches are fluent in both English and Japanese and we've made a majority of our friends in Japan from here.

I definitely recommend training at CrossFit Nishi Azabu!

I’ve been a dedicated member of CrossFit Nishi Azabu for over 2 years, and it’s a decision I’ve never regretted. This place isn’t just the pioneer CrossFit box in Tokyo; it’s also the largest, reflecting the ambition and passion of its exceptional management and coaching team. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and fully bilingual, making this gym a welcoming spot not just for locals but also for foreigners living and working or visiting Tokyo. Their ability to provide guidance in multiple languages ensures that everyone, regardless of where they’re from, can fully engage and benefit from the workouts. The facilities here are top-notch—a spacious, clean box equipped with changing rooms and showers, catering to all your fitness needs. Its convenient location near Hiroo, Roppongi is another major plus, nestled in one of Tokyo’s nicest neighborhoods, surrounded by a selection of quaint restaurants and cafes. The Maruyama Coffee located right on top and Sawamura Bakery in few minutes walking are personal favorites, offering the perfect pre/post-workout treat. Whether you’re a Tokyo resident or an international visitor looking for a place to continue your workouts, CrossFit Nishi Azabu stands out as an inclusive, friendly, and challenging environment. It’s a community where everyone, irrespective of their background, can come together, push their limits, and achieve their fitness goals. Here’s to many more sweat-filled years at this incredible box!

I was in town visiting for a few days and had read great reviews of this box on Google. The reviews were spot on! Even though I just dropped by for the open gym period, the staff were super welcoming. The space is also amazing and has everything you would expect of a CrossFit gym. Whenever I’m in town again, I would definitely take a class there!

I took AM classes early last year but only finally getting around to posting this review. Unfortunately, I didn't like the classes, the atmosphere and their rigid policies. They charge US$50 (JPY7000) to use their water filter machine. There was one guy who after every WOD would repeated drink from the bathroom faucet because he was so dehydrated - alarming. What gym deprives its members (who pay expensive membership fees) of basic necessities like water? While coaching classes, the owner Nicholas requires all members to refer to him as "Captain Nick" -- really? The WODs are more akin to aerobics and F45 non-intensive workouts. Not sure why they refer to themselves as a CrossFit box and have the word CrossFit in the name. After each of the classes, "Captain Nick" and the other female and male coaches approach and ask you to stop doing additional post-workouts because the next classes has started, indirectly asking you to leave. Even before classes begin, they look at you awkwardly as if to say "you shouldn't be working out or stretching since the time-allotted class hasn't started yet". Meanwhile, the gym is empty. I've heard this from other members and I've experienced this myself. Haven't seen a gym that didn't want to better-serve its "paying" members and want more of its members around to create more of an energetic vibe. There was zero energy and noise in the gym. Members all seemed dejected and lifeless. Visually, the coaches don't look like they do CrossFit. Would suggest looking elsewhere for a better CrossFit gym environment.
