I
took
AM
classes
early
last
year
but
only
finally
getting
around
to
posting
this
review.
Unfortunately,
I
didn't
like
the
classes,
the
atmosphere
and
their
rigid
policies.
They
charge
US$50
(JPY7000)
to
use
their
water
filter
machine.
There
was
one
guy
who
after
every
WOD
would
repeated
drink
from
the
bathroom
faucet
because
he
was
so
dehydrated
-
alarming.
What
gym
deprives
its
members
(who
pay
expensive
membership
fees)
of
basic
necessities
like
water?
While
coaching
classes,
the
owner
Nicholas
requires
all
members
to
refer
to
him
as
"Captain
Nick"
--
really?
The
WODs
are
more
akin
to
aerobics
and
F45
non-intensive
workouts.
Not
sure
why
they
refer
to
themselves
as
a
CrossFit
box
and
have
the
word
CrossFit
in
the
name.
After
each
of
the
classes,
"Captain
Nick"
and
the
other
female
and
male
coaches
approach
and
ask
you
to
stop
doing
additional
post-workouts
because
the
next
classes
has
started,
indirectly
asking
you
to
leave.
Even
before
classes
begin,
they
look
at
you
awkwardly
as
if
to
say
"you
shouldn't
be
working
out
or
stretching
since
the
time-allotted
class
hasn't
started
yet".
Meanwhile,
the
gym
is
empty.
I've
heard
this
from
other
members
and
I've
experienced
this
myself.
Haven't
seen
a
gym
that
didn't
want
to
better-serve
its
"paying"
members
and
want
more
of
its
members
around
to
create
more
of
an
energetic
vibe.
There
was
zero
energy
and
noise
in
the
gym.
Members
all
seemed
dejected
and
lifeless.
Visually,
the
coaches
don't
look
like
they
do
CrossFit.
Would
suggest
looking
elsewhere
for
a
better
CrossFit
gym
environment.
