医師の先生や看護師さんにはとてもよくして頂き、無事治療も終了しました。
退院前日、お会計の金額を事務に出してもらい、退院当日そちらの金額をお支払いし無事に退院したと思っていました。
ところが1週間後に電話がかかって来て、「会計ミスで金額が不足しているので支払いに来て欲しい」と…。退院前日・当日にお会計を2回も計算したのに、そのどちらも間違っていたんです。
緊急搬送されたので、私は県央に住んでいて、病院まで車で高速を使って片道1時間かかります。
銀行振込やコンビニ払い、現金書留は可能か尋ねましたが、窓口支払いしか対応してないとのことでした。
払いたくないと言ってる訳ではなくて、「患者側のミスではないのに、貴重な休みの日に時間を掛けて(高速代、ガソリン代をかけて)数千円を払いに行く」事が嫌で嫌で仕方なかったです。
不足分をお支払いに行った時も「仕方ないから頭だけ下げとくか」といった態度がミエミエ…
