Interactive sessions are really nice and very informative. Note, however, these are in French only.

Educational for the kids, they loved exploring the different scenes - take a picnic ~ 2-3 hours

Really good place to learn about Prehistory. The presentation was in in French, but once the guide understood we were English he gave us a good quality explanation of things. He was a wonderful presenter and kept his audience engaged the whole time. I didn't understand much of the French but he was making people laugh and smile the whole time. There is a free guide book in English so you kind of read along, but it was fun to see this guy genuinely interested in his subject educate us all. Bring a picnic along, there is plenty of shade and it is genuinely interesting and educational.

Enjoyable afternoon. Flint knapping demonstration was good but would have been better if some English was spoken. If you speak French fluently it would have been very good. Very enthusiastic staff. Dog friendly. Suitable for all ages. Gift shop sells ice cream and soft drinks but no food. Take your own picnic as there are picnic tables available. Very good value for money.

An excellent visit but fixed timings for the shows are restrictive so need to plan ahead

Not complicated in layout, comprehensive notes to the exhibits with brief notes in english. The neolithic development brilliantly explained by an engaging and witty animateur. Possible to do it in 2 hours but double the time really needed. Parking good, with some shade plus an overspill area to the side. 6 euros is good value.

Nice place to visit but it's for families with young children (3 to 10 years old) or school visits.

Very interesting, but be warned everything is (unsurprisingly) in French. Demonstrations of moving menhirs etc.

We had a really enjoyable morning here (28.08.23). The visit was made by the guide who was superb. Really passionate about his subject and was kind enough to present in both French and English. He was engaging in both and made both groups laugh. We watched a fire making demonstration which was was really impressive, and then a live spear throwing and archery demonstration. The guide was happy to answer questions and was super interesting. Top place to visit, especially if you love history.
