Old Confucian school in Jeonju. You should visit this place since there is big tree where you can take beautiful photo during spring and autumn. Must do while in Jeonju

Many events are held here. It's one of the photogenic hanok spots. In fall the leaves here are great. During other seasons it has a relaxed feeling. Many dramas and music videos also get filmed here.

I like this old joseon era school. Nice to stroll around, take in the serene atmosphere, and admire the old architecture and ancient trees. Makes a nice stop, after visiting the mural village and omokdae.

This is a historical site with several huge ginkgo trees that have lasted hundreds of years. In autumn, the ginkgo leaves turn yellow and fall, covering the ground with a golden carpet, which is very beautiful. I am very happy to have the opportunity to come here and enjoy it during this golden season.

Definitely worth the 3000 won. But not a whole lot to see. It is sad how much of Korea's history has been destroyed. This place does a good job though.

Beautiful place where you can admire old Korean architecture. It is a place where scholars would live and study and where they still hold lectures nowadays.

One of the most zen area I visited whilst in Jeonju. There's not much to see there but you can really nice photos here when the grounds are littered with golden leaves from the gingko trees in the months of late autumn. Beautiful gingko trees that are a hundreds of years old. And close by are all picturesque spots.

Jeonju Hanok Village seems to have become too commercialized. It is a must-visit place to feel the true Korean tradition.

Little pearl to visit off of all of the more touristy corners of Jeonju. Kdrama set corner and perfect place for your hanbok shoots

Pretty cool place to visit, if you have a time. And the architecture of the main building (roof) is bit different than other traditional buildings in Korea.

A nice quiet area full of ancient history.

One of the most picturesque alleys for photos in traditional alleys. Nothing much about the actual school.

Good place for understanding the Confucian culture in Chosun dynasty.
