10/10 recommend this place! The chef is very proud of her food, and for good reason. Everything is flavorful and feels special to this place. You can have familiar Korean meals prepared in a way you can only have here. It’s the best of home style cooking. For instance, the kalbijjim is sweet and also surprisingly spicy. Have an open mind! It’s wonderful. I ate here twice during my trip, it was that good. The banchan is fresh and plentiful, the crab was amazingly plump and juicy, too! The care and pride the chef puts into the food is echoed as well by the team of aunties who work here. I am a difficult customer because I don’t speak any Korean but they were incredibly patient and cheerful with me and even refilled the banchan they noticed I liked best. I have eaten at many Michelin restaurants around the world and the service here is far better than most. It’s fun as well to sit and eat on the ondol floor.

This is my favourite restaurant in Jeonju! It was recommended by my local Jeonju friends. It's always full so place go there early! You gotta order "kalbi" & "crab soup"! I'm a tourist to Korea but I have ate this 5 times already, because its so damn good! Add to you must eat list!

Jeonju is famous for its traditional meals consisting of a great number of side dishes. This restaurant doesn't let you down. For an affordable 12k won, (10 USD), I had 16 different side dishes, a main dish of Korean-style ribs, and soup. You can have a second bowl of rice for free. If you want an authentic Korean food experience, this place doesn't break the bank and is definitely worth considering. It's got the best bang-for-buck menu in the area.

Traditional "kings table" style dining - a main course with lots of banchan (side dishes). The main dish, pork ribs, were delicious. The price was around 12,000 won per person, an excellent value.

Lots of food coming with affordable price (compared to others restaurant and of course Seoul). The side dishes also contain Ginseng. The crab soup is delicious, same goes with the pork cuisine. Recommended to try as local food in Jeonju.

You can enjoy great view in traditional Korean house(Han-ok). Reasonable price, delicious main course (Galbi jjim- sweet pork with soybean souce, Kogge doin jang soup) with various kind of side dishes.

Great food! I had the beef stew (i think) and it was very delicious. Full of flavor, the meat was very tender, the portion was for 2 but i think it was big enough for 3 people. The variety of side dishes were also great! There are no english menu, and the owner cannot speak english as well. It was hard to try communicate with her but she was eager to help us order and explain how to eat it. We also get free sweet drink made from rice from her. The service was really great 👍🏻👍🏻

Went for a traditional Korean meal (백반). The meal comes with 15 side dishes a bowl of rice and a big bowl of each doenjang jjigae and galbi jjim. The doenjang jjigae can be order with or without crab. The food was great, it was some of the best doenjang jjigae I've had in a long time and the price was excellent. At 12000 won per person you can't go wrong.
