    The rooms, grounds, view are great. But for $100 a night in Ecuador the service should be on point. Had dinner one night on premises and it was good. I want to be kind, but I feel like after 15 years the owners are tired. Also would be much better as an adults only hotel.

    Nice place, great view since it's at the top of a mountain, nice pool, the owners are very polite and friendly. The only things didn't like was, no TV in the bedroom and the cabanas are separate just by a wall and you can know what are doing nextdoor, no good if you go with your kids. Cozy and nice place.

    We had a lovely stay here. It is beautiful looking over Puerto López to the sea, particularly when the lights cone on in the evening. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have everything you need. Breakfast was very good with delicious bread, as you'd expect from a German-run hotel. I'd love to go back and spend longer there next time.

    It was absolutely delightful. It's setting is really special. The German owners very committed to your having a pleasant stay. We enjoyed two fantastic meals there. It's spotless clean. It was really very nice to be there.

    This place is incredible. Really really amazing given how low their ad was in hotels.com you do not get a sense of the granduer and peacefness of this plan its literally a dream come true. The town is dirty and run down. You'd never know from the pot holes on rhe road up to the hotel what kind of place this is. The owners could not be nicer.
