Café Aad de Wolf

Great, friendly service with a personal touch. They have a great terrace , food and drinks. Cozy bar inside, lots of space and nicely decorated.

Very fast delivery of our dinner. Had a steak myself , a shaslick for my lady. All good taste and friendly service.

Cosy place with excellent beers and outside is smoking friend area.

This place is the real Purmerend -- there's an illustration of the late founder, Aad, behind the bar, and his spirit is in every beam and floorboard. The biertjes flow liberally, and the pub food comes rapidly out of the kitchen. When I think of a traditional Netherlands pub, Aad de Wolf comes to mind.
