This is a karaoke 🎤 place in JB, Malaysia. The karaoke rooms are quite nice, but they have different prices from small to bigger rooms. The rooms even got disco lighting. You can even download the app to your hand phone to select songs and etc. It's quite a different karaoke experience, 😀 😄. 😊 karaoke 🎤 🎵

Good, clean place for karaoke with snacks and drinks. Has an automated assistant for you to give voice commands for Chinese song selection. Only downside is there does not seem to be any sorting mechanism for English songs at all and you have to scroll manually to find a particular song or artiste.

not sure about other ktv studios around the area, but anytime I’m in need of a ktv session, I’ll be back here. Reasonable price, each booking is for a session of 3hrs, comes with a jug of refillable drink and 1 plate of snack (chargeable upon each refill). Around RM135 for 4 pax, 3hrs, no liquor (this is the price I paid, do check in with them for the latest pricing). 4pax, ordered a bottle of beer each and it came with an additional free hour (so we sang/screamed for 4hrs)! Room was clean and spacious. Chinese songs were up to date. Room service for requests were quickly attended to as well. Only comment was to have the mics being checked before the start of the session. We had our mics changed twice due to low battery. Anw, you can make your booking reservation via Facebook messenger, responsive.

I’ve been went to all karaoke at Mount Austin just to evaluate which one is really worth the price. As a result, I’m willing to spend my time to give them a good review. To be objective, Chun K Music Family Karaoke definitely is the best in terms of service, atmosphere, sound system and environment. Service: 1. Their service is super responsive, polite and crystal clear while explaining about their package. (Some others are confusing customers and lot of hidden charges are not explain well) 2. All their staff will bow and great you wherever you go in their premises (but I personally abit uncomfortable as I’m just a normal customer and I do respect every staff as well) Sound system: 1. Their microphone without having intermittent connection issue (subject to microphone having sufficient battery) as this is one of the major factor to affect your singing mood 2. Most of the songs are up to date (those latest songs I know of 😂) 3. Their system ain’t typical type (just sing and next), instead, some funny features you can play of! Environment: 1. Their location is easy accessible and lots of FnB around. 2. Room is well cleaned, no weird smell, toilet are reasonable cleaned. 3. Sound proof for respective room are up to standard as hardly to hear what you sing from outside (unless people tend to listen your singing skills 😂) for those shy people like me, doesn’t need to worry how other people feel my skills 🤣

A Disappointing Audio Experience: An Honest Review I recently visited this establishment upon a friend's recommendation, as he spoke highly of the system's quality. Unfortunately, my experience did not live up to the expectations set by his prior visit. It seems that some changes were made to the system, locking the adjustments to the console. As a result, the sound presets provided by their sound tech turned out to be far from desirable. I must admit, the audio system here is among the worst I have ever encountered. The lack of bass was immediately noticeable, making the overall sound feel empty and hollow. The inability to make any adjustments due to the locked system presets further added to the frustration. To be candid, the audio quality was subpar, even worse than what you might expect from a cheap and budget KTV lounge. Given the high expectations set by my friend and the price paid, the experience was ultimately not worth the money. I had hoped for a more enjoyable and immersive audio experience, but sadly, it fell short of delivering on its promises. I left feeling disappointed and underwhelmed. While my friend's prior experience might have been positive, my own encounter with the system was far from satisfactory. Until improvements are made or the system presets are unlocked for customization, I would caution others from getting their hopes up for an exceptional audio experience at this establishment.

There are a few kara joints at Austin with this being one of them. Compared to the others, the prices for this is relatively cheaper (but not the cheapest). For a kara joint, free flow drinks are typical. The rates for the medium room here (88 ringgit for 4 pax) is about the same as the rates for a small room at another one (89 ringgit for 2 pax). On the exterior, the place looks new and there is usually a long queue here (when we came on a weekend). This may probably be due to this place opening later (at 2pm) so the customers who are not able to book a room from the other places will queue over here. As with the other kara places here, reservation is recommended as the small rooms (for 2 pax) are usually booked. The aircon is relatively cold but smells of cigarette. If you are sensitive to cigarette smell and affects your throat or singing, this joint is definitely not recommended. However, if you are looking for a relatively cheaper joint and with slightly better availability, this could be considered.

staff were super friendly and the karaoke system was pretty up to date w both english and (obscure) mandarin songs! paid for the 3 hours package and it came with free flow drinks and a plate of yummy chips. we bought the fried mushroom and it was 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. price was also reasonable. the only downside was that the room, couch and cushions smelled a little like vomit.. overall, a great place to be with fantastic prices and sound system. will definitely be back again 👍🏻 (fyi: do take note that the second level of the place is a club and they use a shared elevator. we met a few drunkards on the way down / waiting for grab as we ended our session around 2/3am!)

Nice place to chill out with friends and family for karaoke singing.... wide range of song selections... The facility is pretty new, and the system is simple to use. Clean and comfortable room. The price is reasonable. Parking is a bit challenging but not surprising in such a busy area.

Brought our own liquor. Corkage is RM180 per bottle. Excellent service. Mee sedap is exceptional nice. Professional stereo. We got a big room, it is clean without cigarette smell. Washroom is clean. Suggest to take grab if drink at night time to avoid roadblock and parking issue.

Overall the experience was great. The system is great, allowed user to download song that is not available, user friendly, but some songs are not playable maybe due to copyright. A little suggestions is to add hand sanitizer to each individual room, as people comes in and out, drinking and eating. If sanitizer available inside the room will come handy.

5 stars for the service and the music selection system. (The system is in Chinese though) Free flow drinks the wheatgrass is better than the lemon tea. Two plates of snacks- one plate of fries and one plate of tapioca chips quite tasty. Minus one star because the room had a musky smell like a mix of cigarette smell with air freshener.

The room is spacious and clean. The audio equipment need's to be improved. The waiters are very polite and have a gentle attitude. The food tastes good. My friends are very satisfied with the experience and look forward to coming back next timel！

Affordable karaoke which comes with free flow drinks. Counter staff was really nice. We couldn’t get a room at first as we had no booking but was later offered a medium size room and was charged only by per head price. Waiters were polite and helpful. Room comes with voice activated control, clean and spacious. Enjoyed the overall experience.

Went to Chun K at about 2.15pm and managed to get a room without having reservations. The room package includes free flow drink and a plate of snacks. What I thought was quite sweet of the counter staff was when I enquire if it’s possible to get a bubble tea for the karaoke session (there are a few bubble tea joints around Chun K), they actually allowed us to bring in the drink. Overall good experience here!

3 of us wanted to sing ktv but the male receptionist said we had to pay for 4 pax as the 2-3 pax rooms were fully occupied hence he had to allocate us the bigger room. Which is ridiculous since their price list only showed price per pax and not price per room. We refused to pay for 4 pax and proceeded to the nearby ktv 大嘴吧instead. Don't understand why the receptionist has to be so inflexible and insist on us paying for 4 pax when we are only 3 pax. Bad service. Bad attitude. Customers are not dumb. We had a much better and welcoming experience elsewhere.

Did not order food , but only had the normal drink and snack combo. Room is spacious , but have cigarette smell. I guess many ktv have people secretly smoking. What I love is the microphone volume can go quite loud .

Convenient place to eat and sing at the same time. Food was all very good. We got the mala popcorn chicken and suan la fen. The complimentary tapioca chips were nice as well. Staff were friendly and polite. We got an extra singing hour free. The sofa is a little bit smelly though. Bring a jacket as it can be quite cold.

Love the sound system here. Song list not the most updated one. Some of the singer cannot be found from the system , example 蔡恩雨. Services is good, fast and polite. Room is clean and sanitised. Toilet is clean and sanitised. Their grilled chicken is nice. Original flavour Yummy Margarita and Mojito taste just average. Not to the standard.

As a group of 7, we had to pay around 3 SGD per hour per pax. On top of that, we had to spend a minimum of 90 MYR of food or snacks although I'll give credit where credit is due as their fried rice and finger foods were delicious There were 2 mics in our room and if you want 3 mics you would have to get a bigger room. Also, the app to select the songs is all in Chinese which is impossible for me. I would recommend visiting their neighbor karaoke Loudspeaker instead unless you didn't manage to secure a booking there

Amazing place!! The staffs are really professional and amazing~ Price is really affordable and we had some of the food here, reco!!! Just that I would probably come for the experience more than singing actual KTV (the lightings, room functions and the singer ratings were really fun) 😂

One of the better karaoke in JB. It has the best sound system so far, and there's a good way to select songs. You can scan the QR code via your WeChat app and navigate to song selections on your phone. The snacks and drinks provided were nice, but the service was so much better.
