Part of a bigger chain but this location is probably the new flagship outlet in JB. Very convenient location on the 6th of the Holiday Villa Hotel. Opened not too long ago, hence the whole spa is literally brand spanking new! Spacious and tastefully decorated interior in modern Thai style and yet, they have quite a few pieces of pretty good Thai handicraft and artworks place all round. The spa is staffed with super friendly receptionists at the front countered. Supposedly uber busy during the w/e, so I reckon I was lucky to be able to book a 2 hr slot just as a walk-in on 9 Aug! The treatment rooms are nice and clean. No hint of the musky or damp smell you may find in some other spas. Good thing that they didn't go OD on the burning or incense or aroma oils. My 2 hr Thai massage was done by genuine Thai masseuse, so managed to practice some basic Thai with them. The massage style is decent with medium strength although I would have much preferred a strong massage with more twisting and bending technique. A male masseuse would be much handier in this case. Still, it was a very well spent, cooling and relaxing 2hr respite from the JB heat. Would definitely visit again next time and try the other treatments. ผมชอบครับ

Can I give it Zero Star ? The staff was not using any strength. It felt as if she was rubbing my skin. When I asked for more strength, she started to use full strength that it was painful. I had to ask her to less strength. Then, we went to just rubbing my skin. She did not attempt to make it a in-between. It was all out with full force or not using any strength. Where is the adjustment ? Non. Standard Thai Odyssey serene and rather classy ambience but the massage, the core of their business was just terrible. It is the worst massage I have done. At RM82 for a 1h foot massage. I had expected to be better. I did have a better experience at Thai Odyssey @ KSL and City Square branch. I am an easy - going client. It was the first time that I walked out without giving a tip.

Just like the other branches, Thai Odyssey never turns you down. With clean and decent ambience, well trained, kind and skillful therapists awating you. I always hope it is a bit more afordable. That's it. Can't complain. Cause it is always worth giving it a shot for your body and soul.

the service is good, comparable to the rest. the price is quite high, but the deco is newer and more grand than others. massage quality wise i feel not much different from the other strong competitors. the holiday villa outlet is also usually less crowded during the weekends, compared to the city square one.

Impromptu walked in at 8pm on a Saturday, and they had slots. I took the 1-hour leg massage and wow it was good and relaxing, the masseuse gives you the full 1hr massage from the time you're seated on the sofa and not like other place that counts in the time to wash your legs as part of it. I was even given tea and a cooling bean bag for my eyes. Would visit again.

Having heard great reviews I went for a 60 Min theraphy and it was such an average experience for the price they charge that I was very much disappointed . The masseur clearly lacked the skills and was tired and it was all showing as I know what a good Thai massage is having been a regular for 20 years in many good authentic Thai massage places

Never a bad experience with Thai Odyssey. When it comes to massage, go big or go home. You pay for what you get. The massage is first class. All the time. Without fail. Quality standard. Good stuff.

Thai Odyssey offers an authentic Thai massage. Especially enjoyed the soothing balm and warm towel which was laid on my neck towards the end of the massage. Therapists were Thai and the entire experience transported me back to my time in Bangkok!

Probably the best branch in Johor, there’re well-furnished toilets where you can take a shower after the aromatherapy ... generally more spacious and clean compared to the branches in the malls. Masseurs here seems to be better than those in CITYSQUARE AND JBCC ,so far.

Totally love this place... even as i just step out of the lift. The reception staff immediately stand up to welcome me. The massage was one of the best i ever have. The stretching of my muscle was very comfortable. It's a pity i did not manage to get the name of the staff that did the massage. Very good and well done... Will definitely visit again...

Overall good for it's price with the package from the hotel, but the strength from the massage was way weaker than expected

Been here multiple times! Loved the massage and service. One of the best in Malaysia :) Calming music, clean and comfortable environment. Do call in for reservation ahead to avoid disappointment. They are also on classpass now.

I recently visited this massage place and I would highly recommend. The service was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and treated like a valued customer. The massage was simply amazing! The masseuse had a magic touch and was able to work out all the knots in my muscles, leaving me feeling completely rejuvenated. Very calming and tranquil place, although we were there on a weekday so things could be different on weekends. We got a couple room easily. The massage was good overall, except for a few times when the therapist was a bit too vigorous. But she was very responsive to feedback. Will be back again.

Have been here a number of times and today’s experience has got to be the worse. The massage today is a joke. It felt as if they were just going through the motion of just rubbing your body. Zero pride in their work. They did not seem to bother to control their strength at all. It’s either too hard or too soft. They spent over 30 -45 mins on my back alone... using her elbow. The massage is supposed to be gentle but strong and firm to massage the tired muscles. But I didn’t feel any of these... ok... felt a little stretched... but a total waste of my 2 hours. Have some pride in your work please.
